Saying goodbye to a character I've loved so dearly for so many years is hard. I KNOW ITS JUST A SHOW. She meant so much to me, and I know it was coming, I know she did bad things, but I will cry for her nonetheless. Rest in peace Daenerys. My queen, always.

I absolutely hated this season and especially how it ended but that doesn't change how I feel about Daenerys and it never will. She's the rightful queen of the seven kingdoms and I will defend her to the grave

I am quite satisfied with the Starks ending on the throne because they deserved it as well. But the way they killed off Daenerys like that is unacceptable. She’s been one of the most relevant and complex characters in the show, she carried most of it for 8 years and the least she deserved was an epic death. But as we’ve seen, this season was pretty rushed and terrible writing-related. I’m still so heart broken for her I can’t even.

Not just rightful- she would have been one of the greatest persons in Westeros if the North would have helped her...if Sansa wouldn't have told Tyrion about Jon etc. But at the end her character development is shit, unrealistic and the ending...god. let's just ignore what D&D did!

Daenerys will always be the girl who accomplished greatness to me. She was firm and a strong character. I will forever admire her braveness being surrounded by betraying man. Her trustworthiness gave her doom, but that also made her beautiful than what the show had done to her arc. Daenerys Targaryen deserved better!
This show just shows that no matter what you did good, people will always judge you for a single mistake or a lapse on your emotions.

Having endured abuse, and hardship and battling depression I held on to and emulated so many qualities of her, that helped me keep strong. She was no ordinary girl. Her dreams came true. The hardest part wasn't to see her go, but to see the character that helped me hold on for so many years painted as a mad tyrant. Always a Dragon.
I'm not mad that Daenerys died. I'm mad that they painted her as an evil tyrant.

@@raohdRao To be fair to her character they ended the show with pretty shit writing. It was very rushed. No progression, no descent into madness. She deserved a bit ending. And so did Cersei she was the Villan for 8 seasons and her end along with her brother was very feeble.

This was truely a MASTERPIECE. You captured daenerys perfectly. She endured so much. All she fought for. All she lived for. Was taken from her. In the end she didn't go mad. She was broken and lost. She was all alone... Everything she had left was the throne. She owed it to everyone she had lost, to everyone who had fought for her. This is what they fought for all this time.
She deserved so much more. She deserved to be at peace!

So..I know she isn't real. She never was. In the end it is just a show but..she will always be so much more to me than just a character. That must sound so completely stupid,but when I had no one,when my parents left me alone and when I got bullied she always was there. She wasn't really there for me but somehow..she was. Through her I wanted to continue living,she showed me what strength is,hope,love. Because of her I learned to become generous and kind to people who deserve it. I learned that everybody deserves to be free and that you should fight for the one's who can't fight for themselves. For me she is a symbole of hope,or she was. Whenever I was sad I looked at this silverhaired sunshine and I felt hope☺ (god I really must sound so stupid,but this is what I really feel).
I'm not mad that she died,everybody can die in Game of thrones. It's just the way it ended. She didn't deserve to be the mad queen,after all she has done and suffered..

I definitely hated this part where Jon kills daenerys. I understood he did it because he felt she was going to do the same again down the line. But she sacrificed her dragons and her army for winterfell. If it wasn't for her they would've never defeated the night king so I didn't like that they killed her off the show. But I really enjoyed how drogon knew why Jon did it and that's why he burned the throne. I also enjoyed how he showed her love in that last scene. Great tribute to her!

What kills me is that the Khaleesi was 100% right. The people of King's Landing had proven themselves to be sheep incapable of making decisions for themselves. They chose to allow Cersei to dominate them. Starve them. Blow them up. They basically chose slavery. So when the Khaleesi says "they don't get to choose" what is good, then she is 100% correct because they shouldn't. The Khaleesi only did what was necessary. It is unfortunate that so many people died, but when you think about it, nobody would ever try what Cersei tried again (using citizens as shields) and the citizens of the world will know what would happen if they disobeyed their Queen. One small act of heavy-handedness to set precedent that would protect and save millions and millions of people around the world -- and Jon Snow butchered her like an animal. I am so pissed! The Khaleesi deserved better!!

She helped everyone and saved everyone from the Dead Army, that did cost her huge loss yet she was BETRAYED!!! By her own lover. No enemy could bring her down but her own love betrayed her!!!

That ending is a setup for a resurrection. Drogon is smart he knows where to take her. Denaeryus, and Aria Stark are going to get anther story. They need to get many writers on the next Series so we don't have to wait so long.

I'm glad they went heavy handed and made her show her true colors, her narcissism and need for power, because otherwise everyone would forever be trying to justify her war crimes like they do brutalizing forces in our world. Her hollow morals that eventually lead her to kill innocents without trial is painfully real in our lives now but people love a pretty and simplistic mantra. Despite how rushed and heavy handed D&D were, it seems to not have worked, they straight up used imagery from Nazi/Hitler propaganda and some of you still want to love her. Some can't even admit authoritarianism is bad, or happily embrace it and not ironically. You do realize most tyrants start out being loved by ignorant and needy masses before they're hated and seen for what they are, and not the other way around right? This show is a great mirror, it shows you who likes to be led by the nose, and who actually understands that freedom requires an economic structure to rely on. Not fire and blood or wishful thinking.

Dannaerys was not merely a hormonal 19 year old pyromaniac with entitlement issues, a superiority complex and fire breathing dragons. Nor was she a tyrant. She was a true messiah, We only get sent a truly qualified architect capable or building a brave brand new world once every thousand years or so down here. If she was telling the truth, it was her. & What has kept her going through all of it? Her fait h her mission and her vision of the world she was going to build. Look at her face when she talks to Jon about building it. That says it all. She wasn't lying. If the signs weren't already abundantly clear, she was the real deal and a new world builder.. Jon didn't care. He didn't even ask about her new world or how she planned to build it. "How do you know it's real?" he said and then he killed the whole world... thereby sentencing all the countless oppressed masses to continue in their chains for another thousand years just to ensure that nothing would change and no more evil people might or might not be killed for standing between mankind and a new paradise. Jamie was the King Slayer. But Jon Snow was the World Slayer. In the end he was a million times more evil than any Lanister, Bolton or any other villian and even more evil than Dan and Dave or all the inhabitants of King's Landing. The most evil person to ever live in Westerous since IDK when. Ask Bran.
