(please don’t dislike the video just bc you don’t like daenerys, I worked really hard on this)
Hey guys, I am super super proud of this daenerys tribute and love it so much. I have loved showing the story of daenerys, how she’s been such an inspirational, kind woman throughout the seasons but how she has also had a tragic downfall and lost so much. She is such a deep character and it has been amazing to watch her grow throughout my years of being a game of thrones fan. Her and Sansa have always been my fave GoT characters and always will be.
At first I was so unhappy and angry at what they did to her character, but now I’ve changed my view, accepted what happened and just see it as another layer of depth she has and a way to make her story more tragic, I love a good tragic story. I’m trying to look at the positives of the new season, even though it had its flaws. I did want to include more of her finale scenes but I just ran out of song hahaha! but I still love the outcome of the video.

I started watch this serie because of her, and the dragons, I understand that she has to die but not like this. She wasn’t mad, she was strong, she was care about people who loved her. She is the rightful queen 👑

@@Nicamon Finding out Jon was a Targaryen changed everything. She no longer had the strongest Targaryen claim to the throne, yet decided she still wanted the throne. So she used her power to take it by force and destroyed the city so nobody would dare to rise up in rebellion against her in the future.

She was never mad she lost 2 children, her best friend (which she saw beheaded), a husband, one human child to save the one she loved, her oldest friend that died fighting for her, betrayed countless times, forced to walk away from someone that truly loved her back (but Tyrion had to get in the way). All she did was burn a single city ANY OTHER ruler burned more and pillaged more and yet they aren’t called mad, it’s not her fault she was a Targaryen. She followed the advice of arguably the wisest woman in Westeros *”Be a Dragon”*
She not mad she’s just sad and lonely, without the proper council to give her good advice. She over came obstacle after obstacle after obstacle to survive in Essos when given the opportunity to sale back to Drangonstone and leave suffering behind she stayed because she know there were problems bigger than the iron throne. She was fighting to survive in foreign lands her whole life of course that takes a toll.

Seeing what she has wanted ever since she was old enough to want anything and being able to obtain that and at least “avenge” the deaths of all those that died for her to get her that one goal HELL YEAH she’ll take that opportunity!

She was one of my favourite characters!! She wasn't a villian that they made her be in the end.....she was a tragic character.....She was all alone since she was little without as Aemon said any family to guide her and care for her(Vicerys was a jackass)....She went through a lot..... and at the end even though she was a hero she broke because she lost almost everything good in her life(Viserion, Jorah, Rhaegal, Missandei,Jon) so she snapped.... But she wasn't a villian....
Dany is my queen. I dont acknowledge the final 2 episodes of the show. They dont exist to me.
Dany is alive and ruling he 7 kingdoms like she always should have. 8 years of character development proves that she is the best person for the job and 2 episodes are not going to take that away.

In the end, Dany lost her true friend, her best councilmember, her everything and no one pay attention that she is mourning. She need someone to tell her everything will be fine. And I was so angry that many of the characters says she is mad and she has to be dead. No! She needs something to hold on to. She need someone to trust.
No matter what they made with her in the last season Dany is more than that. And I hope in the book she will get a better ending because her character deserves it.
Don't forget she lost three of her children. Her husband. Her brother. She was stuck in grief with no one to guide her which led to her snapping at kings landing. Yeah, Tyrion, Varys, and Jon were all pathetic in those last episodes. Saying they believe in her, but can’t even give her comfort after her best friends and children die in front of her eyes.
“A Targaryen alone in the world” line always gets me 😭😭😭 my poor Queen she deserved better.

In the end it all came to John he chose to push Danny aside when she asked for love he distanced himself when she was alone and I. Grief and when he did that she was truly alone so she said fear it is. The human mind can only take so much and just in the final season she had so much happen in such a short time you can’t process all of that. She just broke down and let all the emotion and emptiness she felt all out and well this is what happened. Cerci did horrible shit every season and it’s okay and Danny does this one thing and you call her mad. I think kings landing needed to be wiped out the innocent had plenary of time to evacuate instead they chosen to stay. It’s sad they died but nobody else did anything to prevent it.

She broke the wheel ! She will live in Westeros forever through her legacy. The Danaerys depicted in this clip is eternal. She was a goddess. She became a dragon. Death had to stop her. But it doesn't matter. She is eternal.

I keep hearing Varys’ words and I don’t understand how Bran is “stronger than Tommen, gentler than Stannis, someone who can intimidate the high lords and inspire the people.....” ! The creators destroyed the show in every possible way. It wasn’t just a bad ending, it was a total destruction of the plot that came before it.
Seeing Drogon young then grown up nudging his dead mother made me tear up .

My poor Drogon....lost his brothers, lost the man who was close to him since his birth and could be like a father to him, lost a very special friend that was the most trustfull person for his mother, and then, in the end, he lost his mother....he lost everything....he is alone now.....

She is the only one who deserved The Iron Throne. I believed in her since the first episode, everyone called her a conqueror but she was a saviour. She ruled the show of Game Of Thrones. I started watching the show after watching a edit of her and Drogon and I am so glad I did because I have never had more respect for someone like her. Goodbye my Dragon Queen.

Her life is literally a tragedy, i can't hate her for what she did (also don't condone it). she deserves a redemption arc but of course that wouldn't make her a villain the show is painting her to be. I hate what they did. I can't feel anger for her, I only feel pity and sadness.

No dragon would have done what the writers had Drogon do ie nothing. He would have burnt everything. Jon, every ruler, every traitor.

@@claudiamanta1943 I felt the same. But then I was also considering whether he understood who Jon was, and maybe he wanted to be left alone. Still, I do think as a dragon, like you said, he'd have done something in retaliation. He'd already been shown to do things like that just because. It was in the character/personality of him in particular. Writers kinda broke that there.
@@kimberbites Jon was a nobody- any popular fool good with the sword and ‘look at poor bastard me, how I’ve made it despite adversity. Ain’t I inspiring?’ attitude can be ‘king’. Not a Dragon King, though. People say that he had dragon blood, but there was nothing to attest to that. There is a scene- him in front of Drogon ridden by Daenerys- in which he is terrified. He didn’t have a dragon smelling the blood in him and coming to him. He was way too human to have dragon blood.
Speaking of dragons, I imagine them as very loyal creatures who definitely don’t think like humans do. (This is, by the way, where commenters are wrong- Daenerys was The Mother of Dragons more than human woman. She wasn’t a 100% human little princess gone mad). Her biggest mistakes? A weird sense of compassion (she should have burnt all chaff when they gathered together) and trusting Jon. Jon’s betrayal is probably the clearest evidence that he did not have dragon blood. Disloyal bastard.
There is absolutely no way Drogon would have lost sight of his Mum or spared the little man.
Charl, I’m literally crying right now. I can count on one hand the times a fan video has made me cry, and this is one of them. So beautiful and heartfelt, a tribute deserving of our Queen’s legacy. Thank you so much for creating this wonderful tribute. My heart is still aching with grief over her death and tears well up and fall copiously every time I think of her tragic end. It's extraordinary that a fictional character can elicit such emotion in someone but many of us have followed her path for 20 years and know who she truly is within...a gentle heart. “You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain.” I always thought she would die a heroic death because she had been heroic all her life. What they did to her character will never be forgiven. To me, she’ll always will be the one thing I loved most in the fantasy dimension.
Queen, woman and a human being; all in one person. The breaker of chains. She was the shield that guarded the realms of men. She lost more than anyone to protect the people who didn’t give her an ounce of gratitude or love in return. She’s the mother of unsung heroes. She’s Daenerys Stormborn, the legend, the myth. The world needed her though she wasn’t of this world. She was the silver knight. My one true queen and love.
