Some of our favorite Escape Room or mystery/puzzle games include Chronicles of Crime, Sherlock Holmes Consulting Detective, Unlock, Exit, and Coded Chronicles. What are yours?
I haven't played my copy of Chronicles of Crime yet. I love Detective: A Modern Crime Board Game, though! Also played the Batman Lies version and enjoyed it even more!
Escape The Room, Unlock, Coded Chronicles, Crimes & Capers, Deckscape/Decktective, Professor Puzzle and Escape Room in a Box are my favorites I can think of on the spot but I know there are others I enjoy quite a bit too. I actually enjoy some of the Hasbro ones lately even though they are a bit easier. Still really stoked on trying out the D&D one I got recently, but the Clue ones are solid for just some simple easy going puzzles that aren’t brain burning just for a good casual time.
The ThinkFun brand "Escape the Room" games have been my all-time favorite so far! I'd rank this one up near them though I'd have to really think about the cost/fun ratio to do a true comparison lol
So I have a little trouble with a world scrambler on Part 3. Which is with the 2 IQ test things Puzzle Cipher And Decryption Key, & question was on mine is “Who Is Anarky’s Role model?” I play it so far right now mine is 42% Complete. So any tips for that? 😅 and what’s the answer to that?
We weren't able to complete the puzzle that involved looking at someone's juvenile record--from the hints it seemed like there was something that should be showing up in AR like a computer monitor or something but the app just never seemed to recognize the paper at all. We were able to skip past it but I'm dying to know what we were supposed to see! Overall we loved this game though and look forward to passing it on to friends!
Good review. I started Box One a while back, and never finished it. I hear it gets better as you go farther in it, so I will finish it sometime. Finding people to play these with is difficult, though. Most gamers just want to play traditional board games.
I love your shirts, but i have a question. Is the app ONLY on the apple iphone or ipad? Or is it on the Android Google play store as well? I need to know before i order
We got like maybe 75% of the way there the way I think we are supposed to do it and then kind of guessed what it probably said from there. I felt like we couldn't *really* do that one without using photoshop or some kind of app that would allow us to lay things on top of each other with transparency!
Hi, Looking to get this for our family! I know my kids are too young for the puzzle side of thing. But wondering the content, is it family appropriate? Swearing? nudity? I understand there is a violence piece since it's Batman Thanks!

they are working on getting the app working for Android but it isn't ready yet. Hopefully soon!!

So the replay value is low on this game?
Once you've played through it, you'll know the answers to the puzzles. After resetting it, you can pass it along to someone else, though.
