My tops from the year are Aurum and Apiary. I love the flexibility Aurum has with the multiuse gold cards. Apiary had some fun combos. Huge plus that a game this big was fast to set up.

I was surprised there weren''t more crossover picks but then I only own two the the games you ranked and have only seriously considered buying two others so maybe not so surprised after all. Love this list every year. You’re making me wonder if I really need Sagrada Artisans - hearing such good things and near top for a couple of you. I also noticed not one roll/flip and write this time…do we think that the volume has slowed enough or the novelty is wearing off? I still like the genre and usually hear of one or two in this list.

I bought myself Ancient Knowledge and World Wonders for Christmas but they are being held up by a preorder. I skipped the Kinfire Kickstarter but now I'm thinking I might need to pick it up. I backed Raising Robots and it was recently delivered so now I just have to get it played soon.

I purchased Sagrada Artisans because my wife loves Sagrada and I wanted to try a legacy game. I figured that she would be more willing to play it. I was wrong. She was very hesitant. I did get her to play it and she LOVES it!
There are so many fun looking games in your lists. I'm going to have to take notes on all of them. I actually haven't played a single game you mentioned, and yet they all look good, haha.
