My #1 for 2024 is Draft and Write Records from Inside Up Games. It's so much fun building my band and taking them on tour while trying to manage equipment, group harmonies and more. And I love when you get a super combo round that triggers multiple things (even if that slows the game down some).
Thanks for lists! Family weight games are the most popular in my house. Our favorite 2024 games are Flip 7 and Link City. Both were huge hits with the extended family at Thanksgiving. Looking forward to checking out River Valley Glassworks soon.
Love the list. Maybe it’s just me but I recommend getting the import Nana instead of trip because I love the cute animal artwork on the cards. Same game but personal preference. Good picks from both though. Excited to try some of those picks!
I always enjoy your year end videos and I think this one might be my favorite so far. I enjoyed the slower pace: fewer games, but that allowed you to go in depth with each one. And maybe you should do a separate video of those honorable mentions....the games that are excellent but just didn't quite make the top 10. Anyway, thanks for posting, and I look forward to your video on small box games! P.S. Games I've enjoyed this year: Knarr (2023), River of Gold (2024), Draft & Write Records (2024), Castle Combo (2024).
Love the great games in both top 10 and honorable mentions, thank you. One suggestion for future for both girls andnd guys list is to tell us how many players the games are designed for.
Aww I love pixies ❤ Mine are Harmonies, Akropolis Athena(exp.) and Looot. I am looking forward for River Valley, Galileo Galilei, Creature Caravan and Castle Combo!
Nice video, ladies. Bummed that it's just the two of you, but you have some nice picks. Combined with the guys, I have some games I have to look into now. Merry Christmas!
Thanks for these top 10 picks I might have to grab a copy of Ezra & Nehemiah. I've loved every Garphill Game I've ever played, and this one looks just gorgeous tabled
Haven't played many of these, but Endeavor: Deep Sea has been a lot of fun. Fromage, River Valley and Windmill Valley were nice. Would like to play Ezra and Nehemiah and Unconscious Mind more. Would love to try Men Nefer, SETI and Shackleton Base. Some of the ones I've enjoyed the most this year aren't even from this year =(.
I'm looking forward to trying Blueprints. We went all in on Castles of MKL in part due to your mutual love for it, and it's in our family's top 3. I want to live in my castle!😂
Hoping to play River Valley Glassworks with the family over the holidays but we're really excited for the Lord of the Rings Trick Taking Game. Can't wait to play it a TantrumCon!
I don't know who the artist is for Pixies, but the pixie art is reminiscent of the Becorns made by David Bird. I think Bird is originally a photographer. His Becorns are little "people" made of acorns and other natural materials. He poses them in nature and snaps photos of animals interacting with the Becorns.
Great lists! It was definitely a year of great small box games. Trio/Nana is definitely our most played! Ezra and Nehemiah is definitely on my want to try list. Theme intrigues me, but the heaviness scares me.
I only played 18 2024 games this year, as I rarely get to play many of the games in the year they're published. Here is my ranking of the ones I did get to play, though. 1 Galileo Galilei 2 Tír na nÓg 3 Gnome Hollow 4 Águeda: City of Umbrellas 5 Castle Combo 6 The Search for UAPs 7 French Quarter 8 Donut Shop 9 Aqua ROVE: Results-Oriented Versatile Explorer 10 Spectacular 11 Café Baras 12 Harmonies 13 Color Field 14 Maple Valley 15 Another Man's Treasure 16 Takenokolor 17 River Valley Glassworks 18 Captain Flip

Fantastic lists with a nice variety of recommendations, especially an extra 13 games at the end lol! I really enjoyed it, thanks!
Thank you! Happy holidays!
Love both of your lists and added a ton of them to my wishlist!

Draft and Write Records is great. I love combos, too. -- Melissa
Always great content! Thanks ladies!
Excellent! Really appreciate the two different approaches to the Top 10 videos. Was helped by your explanations.
thanks Ryan (and hi from Kevin) :-)
Great top10s.
Happy Holidays!!!
Good list. Arcs is still my #1 for the year, particularly since playing The Blighted Reach campaign.
Thanks for you lists!
I use your yearly list to add to my collection. Thank you!
Like last year. I think it becomes consistent that I resonate best with Jonah's list at the guys.
But those list are nice ones as well.
Great list. Thank you. My family is just starting to get into more interesting games, and this gives me plenty to dig into.
My #1 this year has been Arcs. Quite a fun game. Can’t wait to open the expansion!
Also, I was very interested in Courtisans and Evenfall!
Thanks for lists! Family weight games are the most popular in my house. Our favorite 2024 games are Flip 7 and Link City. Both were huge hits with the extended family at Thanksgiving. Looking forward to checking out River Valley Glassworks soon.
Great lists. Very eclectic.
Love these Top 10 lists!
Thank you ladies for doing this list each year! Hopefully we will hit the likes this year!
Like the overview of games!

Small Box video should be releasing on Friday :-)
Super interested in fromage! The gang was a massive hit with our board game group. Love these videos!
Enjoyed the list!!!!
Like that your lists have some different things on them vs other lists this year. Added River Valley Glassworks with the expansion to my wish list.
Loved your list and will be learning more of these at Tantrumcon! Loved sandbag this year.
Great lists!
Love the great games in both top 10 and honorable mentions, thank you. One suggestion for future for both girls andnd guys list is to tell us how many players the games are designed for.
Aww I love pixies ❤
Mine are Harmonies, Akropolis Athena(exp.) and Looot.
I am looking forward for River Valley, Galileo Galilei, Creature Caravan and Castle Combo!
Way to go! Keep'em coming! Thank you!
Harmonies and River Valley Glassworks, numbers 1 and 2.
Nice list! Wyrmspan seems like a great game as does Ezra and Nehemiah
Solid lists! I think I prefer this style over the style of the guys video, I appreciate you both going into the games a bit more
Wonderful lists! Pixies is SO cute! Instant buy.
Love Minos. Long game but great!
Draft and Write Records for sure was my favorite of 2024
Nice video, ladies. Bummed that it's just the two of you, but you have some nice picks. Combined with the guys, I have some games I have to look into now. Merry Christmas!
Fun lists! Thanks for sharing!!
Endeavour deep sea is amazing!
Thanks for the list!
Looking forward to try Pixies.
Good mix of games between everyone's lists
Thanks for these top 10 picks
I might have to grab a copy of Ezra & Nehemiah. I've loved every Garphill Game I've ever played, and this one looks just gorgeous tabled
Thanks for the TRIO love! 🙏
River of Gold aesthetics reminds me of Tokaido somehow... I'm gonna get that one for sure!
Glad to see Ezra and Nehemiah on the list
A great list. I am way behind in my board game collecting, usually picking up games that are 4 to 5 years old instead of anything from this year.
Thanks ladies! Good choices and I'm looking forward to checking out the ones I hadn't heard of.
Great list from both of you.
Love new games!! Looking forward to the end of January
My favorite was the reprint of Yokohama. But I'd also name Inventors of the South Tigris.
You’ve talked me into trying River Of Gold!
Thanks for the list and giveaway!
Love these top tens!
I'm looking forward to trying Blueprints. We went all in on Castles of MKL in part due to your mutual love for it, and it's in our family's top 3. I want to live in my castle!😂
Nice set of board games, love you guys! Hugs from your México fans.
I appreciate all you guys have done. I hope to see you are a convention someday
Great list ladies, thanks!
Hoping to play River Valley Glassworks with the family over the holidays but we're really excited for the Lord of the Rings Trick Taking Game. Can't wait to play it a TantrumCon!

Great list. Some of my favorite games are small box games. 🙂
Kevin and I made a Small Box Top 10 video. I think it will be on the channel Friday. -- Melissa
Great lists! It was definitely a year of great small box games. Trio/Nana is definitely our most played! Ezra and Nehemiah is definitely on my want to try list. Theme intrigues me, but the heaviness scares me.
we plan to do a dedicated video of just small box games!!
Great top 10s!
I've really enjoyed Let's Go To Japan. I still need to get Unconscious Mind and Ezra and Nehemiah to the table.
I tried Fromage and wasn't a fan but I keep seeing it everywhere. Maybe have to try it again..
Search for UAPs is my highest rated crossover
What are the honorable mentions for the honorable mention list?😄 Thanks for the contest.
Liked and subscribed
Yeah agree on the Ezra and Nehemiah! It looks so good. It just doesn’t fit my game groups typical preference.
Some great small games this year.
Kevin and I made a Top 10 Small Box Game list for the year. I think the video will go live on Friday. -- Melissa
Your combined lists are definately better than the guys list!
You have great taste. 😆 -- Melissa
Love it

@@tantrumhousegamesI was very surprised by Castle Combo. Simple and yet so fun.
Endeavor Deep Sea will be hitting the table this weekend. Can’t wait!
My favorite game of 2024 is Creature Caravan. But I have several unplayed titles that could challenge it.
I'd love to check out Courtesans, pick mee xD
I wish Garphill Games had better themes! Not at all interested in building walls or cathedrals or ships. But love a good worker placement.
Would love to play courtisans with my family
🙈 I don’t own any of these! Fromage and Kronologic have been on my wish list!
Where is the short haired girl? :(
Great lists !
