One important thing that you didn't mention, is that if you're in a squad, other players' lich's thralls give you murmur progress just like yours, but do not increase YOUR lich's aggression bar. Just something to think about when you're running the missions public or with friends.
You don't actually need a decent railjack, unless you are trying to solo the lich. If you simply go online and go through matchmaking, you'll join another players railjack mission

I don't know if this is still the case but from what I remember reading on the wiki the Kuva Larvling only spawns if you get 10 kills within the 1st min after the lights go all disco. otherwise no Larvling, and no Lich.
I’m seeing all these comments in response to ppl saying they hate the changes to litch saying “just don’t do it” “it’s not optional” “it’s not hard” 1. Some people simply don’t enjoy railjack missions. It’s not people wanting to be “spoon fed” before railjack was completely optional and you didn’t need to do a lot of stuff and people are upset that now litches are locked behind the game modes they hate doing. 2. As for the “you don’t have to do it” comments. People know litches are optional but if some people want cool and fun weapons or simply want something that does more damage. I got my kuva weapons before the litch change and personally I enjoyed the long yet rewarding system. Find the larvae, kill it, spawn litch, collect murmur, reveal requiems, play guessing game with litch to see what order the mods go in (with the litch getting stronger each time you mess up), choose to kill or convert, get rewards. It was a fine system and I can understand people frustration after doing all that and instead of getting their rewards like usual, they find out they have to do railjack.
All of this is fine, usual WF stuff. The most annoying thing is getting the relics and farming the requiem mods. It's obnoxious and people who say otherwise are professional crotch shampooers.
its really not much harder then any of the other farms just run them every once and a while in a endless mission and itll help you with some kuva issues as well. Or buy the mods with plat they are much cheaper than they used to be

Just want to say this: If you're really struggling with a high rank Lich or Sister, Ivara or Ivara Prime is a massive cheese strat. Her Prowl grants Invisibility, and with her Artemis Bow, you can pump out massive damage against the Lich or Sister without them even being able to start an attack against you.
I have not played for a longer time. Today I tried to kill a rank 4 sister with a +200% melee crit chance invigorated Valkyr with 300% strength Warcry and Dakra Prime, nigh perfectly modded. I was not even able to get through her shield. So I honestly doubt that you are able to kill her with Ivara, but Ican be wrong. Then I got Nyx and killed her, but it was still kinda hard. Never expected something so durable in Warframe :P. Even with Toxi 102% resistance she managed to kill me a couple of times.
@@DunkelheitVZ Funnily enough, it has the second highest base damage in the game, second to only the Arquebex iirc. The main issue is modding, as you want Viral damage to increase the effectiveness of Slash. What I usually do, is use the Zakti to set up Viral stacks, and then Artemis Bow modded for Magnetic or a Stropha with Magnetic, to help bypass shields. While the Zakti has innate Gas Damage, it's only for the cloud generated after the impact of the dart, meaning you can run triple dual elements on it making it a great primer weapon. Viral (Cold+Toxic) + Radiation (Heat+Electricity) and a Gas on explosion makes for a real fun combo on Status Primers
Will you make a video analysing each Sister weapon, from worst to best? Like many around here, I am not the type of player who shall go collecting each and every weapon, but rather picking "this" or "that" specific one (Kuva Nukor being a widely accepted good option, for example) just based off statistics. Very good guide, i guess they added the Corrupted Holokey to be a drop later on from the sister confrontation. The more players the more keys you can get provided your there when the lich is taken down. Are you sure the Tenet Melee weapons are available weekly? i thought once you buy the weapon that's it and you'd never be able to buy it again.

@@gely_ don't let it run around, downing it three times to make it retreat from the mission is better for average lich/sister kill speed if you have no revealed requiem mods yet. stabbing blindly isn't good most of the time unless you're stupidly lucky and the extra murmurs don't make up for the time and aggro lost (lich aggro resets when you rank it up)
A lot of people say play in public but outside of the few extra requiem spawns playing solo average the same rate of leech lvl 4 at worst and just downing 3 times in mo is fairly easy just as it stands up shoot it back again even lvl 5 liches get down with a decent modded weapon fairly easy the main problem are the shields not the ho itself

The circle fills up fast if fighting a Sisterof Parvos 4-5 runs Grineer Thrall very slow to fill up. However the final assassination mission Hard Corpus Easy Grineer
One tip: If u want ephemera, just don't skip any liches, whatever weapon it spawns with, pick it up. It's hard to explain, but lich has 20% chance to SPAWN with ephemera, not 20% chance to receive ephemera once u picked one. Which means u probably skipped few liches that had ephemera bcs u didnt want gun they had at the time. Hope u understand what im trying to say.
Banshee is insane for crushing liches. What you want is her Sonar ability, which provides a massive glowing "weakspot" which seems to completely nullify the liches damage reduction whilst simultaneously granting you an incredible damage amp to your weapons. You want to build her for power strength and some duration and range wouldn't hurt, but you want to prioritize power since that's how the Sonar damage amp scales. With Banshee's Sonar active against even a Level 5 Lich, you will melt them in literal seconds. If you don't have access to Banshee, you can also use Nyx's Psychic Bolts which does a 100% armor/shield strip as long as your power strength is above 124% or slightly higher. Nyx's Chaos also provides decent crowd control while you're fighting your lich.
There are so many steps to this it's crazy. I am back after a long time away from the game and have no clan, no Railjack, barely any mods, because I started a new account on Steam and have no idea how to do these damn Liches. I would like to be able to do this stuff, but it's so discouraging when I have so far to go. On PS4 I have my 5 year veteran account, which is way better, but my PS4 is an original and it's dying. Basically rules out using that account until they come out with cross save. It just sucks. I don't really want to get with a clan either, because I'm a very introverted person that doesn't like talking to other people. This is all why I said earlier that I would just go back to not playing the game. I wish they hadn't went this direction, because I miss it. : /
If you feel it's too soon to get into Lichs/Sisters and do not want to get into Clans and stuff.....just... don't do them They're not obligatory and what you get from them are just "nice to have" stuff that isn't even needed
Its not that we hate railjack. Its more that they added another step to the grind, now on top of having to be strong enough to kill the mano y mano you have to grind to get your railjack up to speed.
Dang. What about MR requirements? I'm MR12 and Kuva Zarr is MR15. I've been told you can get the gun and the MR requirements aren't real or something along those lines.

@@ClicheTre I literally played railjack for 2 days and got mk3 variant of every railjack part except shield. RJ has 7k hp, 3k shield, like 1.5k dmg turrets and 4 mods in plexus. Just buy the crew member npcs from ticker on fortuna and give them engineer role so they can repair rj every time it loses all hp, u literally have to do nothing. U can even assign them to pilot it so they can control railjack in co op missions with 2 teams. Railjack is fun now after rework. If u refuse to try something new and fun then just keep spamming melee attacks in trivial missions.
@@paultorney6552 the first concept for it was with railjack anyway so they did what they intended plus makes the fight more "Final" fight rather than the anti-climactic fight with the lich though it's abit more progress but ultimately it's not bad really gives more reason and purpose for railjack instead of like what archwing used to be

Though I can't help but feel that almost 2 years later, it's still a horrible system that sounds like a parody of grindy game design: You have to: Go on a mission for a chance to spawn a Larvling with a weapon you might like and kill them with a specific Warframe to get a certain bonus; Farm Kuva Siphon/Flood missions for a chance to get a Requiem Relic; Run Relic missions for a chance to get the right Requiem Mod from your relics; While going around kiling 150 Lich Thralls (at a theoretical max rate of 20 per mission) to know the right sequence of Requiem Mods to put on your Parazon; Then (surprise) kill even more Lich Thralls to enrage your Lich, which by then might be a lot stronger; When you finally do all this, now, the Linch runs away into space and you have to defeat it with a decent enough Railjack (a totally independant system which is never labelled in-game as a requisite for the Lich system); All this to get (in most cases) a single reskinned Grineer weapon for which, to unlock its slightly better potential, you have to do the whole thing... again... and again. Now try to convince anyone to play Warframe with that pitch. Shadow of Mordor's Nemesis system was great because there wasn't 8 layers of grind on top of it. Nothing about Kuva Liches is logical, immersive or respectful of our time.

Depends if you're using it for melee priming or damage. For damage: It's really good if you have arcane avenger and galvanized shot, if not then there are better kuva/tenet weapons for dps to farm for. For melee priming: It's still one of the best, cedo and epitaph are great alternatives if you have primed sure footed. All 3 of those have their pros and cons. Magnetic is a safe choice for both uses, it'll boost condition overload for more melee dmg and galvanized shot for it's own dmg.
Trying to do my first kuva lich that has the zarr. Ran some missions to get about 5 relics. Did said relics and not a single one dropped a fucking requiem just kuva. Even wasted shit to get them pristine.

Every marked node controlled by your lich, once played you will have some stuff stolen by your lich. Once you kill the lich you will get all that lost stuff back.

hi all. just want to ask, let say if I want to trade a certain kuva lich with other player, do I get the weapon and ephmera immediately?? or that certain kuva lich will spawn on my map, and I need to take it down in order to get that specific weapon?
Can i unveil all requiem mods by ignoring the lich? And when i encounter the lich while murmur farming can i just run away and extract or i really need to attempt and mercy kill it?
What is the best element for each weapon? It seems like heat is generically good, but there are a few like the tenant envoy that are better with toxic as that converts its aoe into viral.
I'd say toxin because you only need to add one more elemental mod to come up with either viral (cold+toxin) or corrosive (cold+electricity), giving you one more free flex slot since viral and corrosive are the two most commonly used elementals in the game (correct me if I'm wrong).

One that I can think of is Nukor; If you want a status applicator to give more damage to your melee (assuming you use condition overload on your melee setups) then you could go for a Magnetic progenitor so you could fit in 3 elementals at once. Other than that, I can't think of other instances so there you go :D
I feel you on that. I've just been collecting weapons and warframes like I used to and I am enjoying the game. Just try and learn one new thing at a time or progress through the new quests and learn those requirements.

I made it quite far back in 2017-18 too and I lost my account to Sony jail, restarted on Switch and climbed the ranks with efficiency this time, but now I feel just like you, I feel very new and like a noob in most of the new content
If you feel it's worth it then yes, doesn't make or break the weapon though If you do decide to though, when you're farming the weapon that you want to consume to boost your main one then go for the element that you don't have an ephemera of. Valence fusion is seamless nowadays so you'll keep the element you want and any forma/adapters you have. For the tenet melee weapons though you actually want as low as possible on the grigori/livia due to the bonus interfering with slash weighting. Exec doesn't really matter since the weighting is bad anyway. Agendus is the same way (doesn't have slash at all)
killed my first ever lich today stupid level six not god fearing soul she was I used a wukong with roar and acceltra just spawned my twin targetted the lich roared and then turned into gas for the rest of eternity and eventually the godlike monster was dead got a weak tonkor out of it mostly just wanted to get rid of it so I could get a new lich

and just downing 3 times in mo is fairly easy just as it stands up shoot it back again even lvl 5 liches get down with a decent modded weapon fairly easy the main problem are the shields not the ho itself

How did you stripped your lich's/sister's armor at 5:06 ? I tried with Nyx second ability but it just stripped it's shields but no change to the health bar :/

If u want ephemera, just don't skip any liches, whatever weapon it spawns with, pick it up.
It's hard to explain, but lich has 20% chance to SPAWN with ephemera, not 20% chance to receive ephemera once u picked one.
Which means u probably skipped few liches that had ephemera bcs u didnt want gun they had at the time.

It is always accessible, as the lich/sister spawns on it's own node on top of the planet (rather than around it) :D
I need info on how to fight them. Their damage resistance is absolutely insane.
Banshee is insane for crushing liches. What you want is her Sonar ability, which provides a massive glowing "weakspot" which seems to completely nullify the liches damage reduction whilst simultaneously granting you an incredible damage amp to your weapons. You want to build her for power strength and some duration and range wouldn't hurt, but you want to prioritize power since that's how the Sonar damage amp scales.
With Banshee's Sonar active against even a Level 5 Lich, you will melt them in literal seconds. If you don't have access to Banshee, you can also use Nyx's Psychic Bolts which does a 100% armor/shield strip as long as your power strength is above 124% or slightly higher. Nyx's Chaos also provides decent crowd control while you're fighting your lich.
check their weakness element and mod that in
For rank 1-3 liches using mesa peacemaker is still possible, and it depends on your lich resistances, for 4-5 banshee is recommended

There are so many steps to this it's crazy. I am back after a long time away from the game and have no clan, no Railjack, barely any mods, because I started a new account on Steam and have no idea how to do these damn Liches. I would like to be able to do this stuff, but it's so discouraging when I have so far to go. On PS4 I have my 5 year veteran account, which is way better, but my PS4 is an original and it's dying. Basically rules out using that account until they come out with cross save. It just sucks. I don't really want to get with a clan either, because I'm a very introverted person that doesn't like talking to other people. This is all why I said earlier that I would just go back to not playing the game. I wish they hadn't went this direction, because I miss it. : /
If you feel it's too soon to get into Lichs/Sisters and do not want to get into Clans and stuff.....just... don't do them
They're not obligatory and what you get from them are just "nice to have" stuff that isn't even needed

Its not that we hate railjack. Its more that they added another step to the grind, now on top of having to be strong enough to kill the mano y mano you have to grind to get your railjack up to speed.

@@ClicheTre I literally played railjack for 2 days and got mk3 variant of every railjack part except shield.
RJ has 7k hp, 3k shield, like 1.5k dmg turrets and 4 mods in plexus.
Just buy the crew member npcs from ticker on fortuna and give them engineer role so they can repair rj every time it loses all hp, u literally have to do nothing.
U can even assign them to pilot it so they can control railjack in co op missions with 2 teams.
Railjack is fun now after rework.
If u refuse to try something new and fun then just keep spamming melee attacks in trivial missions.

You have to: Go on a mission for a chance to spawn a Larvling with a weapon you might like and kill them with a specific Warframe to get a certain bonus; Farm Kuva Siphon/Flood missions for a chance to get a Requiem Relic; Run Relic missions for a chance to get the right Requiem Mod from your relics; While going around kiling 150 Lich Thralls (at a theoretical max rate of 20 per mission) to know the right sequence of Requiem Mods to put on your Parazon; Then (surprise) kill even more Lich Thralls to enrage your Lich, which by then might be a lot stronger; When you finally do all this, now, the Linch runs away into space and you have to defeat it with a decent enough Railjack (a totally independant system which is never labelled in-game as a requisite for the Lich system); All this to get (in most cases) a single reskinned Grineer weapon for which, to unlock its slightly better potential, you have to do the whole thing... again... and again.
Now try to convince anyone to play Warframe with that pitch. Shadow of Mordor's Nemesis system was great because there wasn't 8 layers of grind on top of it. Nothing about Kuva Liches is logical, immersive or respectful of our time.

Depends if you're using it for melee priming or damage.
For damage: It's really good if you have arcane avenger and galvanized shot, if not then there are better kuva/tenet weapons for dps to farm for.
For melee priming: It's still one of the best, cedo and epitaph are great alternatives if you have primed sure footed. All 3 of those have their pros and cons.
Magnetic is a safe choice for both uses, it'll boost condition overload for more melee dmg and galvanized shot for it's own dmg.

Trying to do my first kuva lich that has the zarr. Ran some missions to get about 5 relics. Did said relics and not a single one dropped a fucking requiem just kuva. Even wasted shit to get them pristine.

Converted lich/sisters are stronger when they join your mission if they are higher levels
no there is no benefit it just makes them more chunkier and
time consuming to kill with higher lvl
as much as possible kill at least lvl 3

Only your Lich can steal from you
Every marked node controlled by your lich, once played you will have some stuff stolen by your lich. Once you kill the lich you will get all that lost stuff back.

You still need to take it down and you can get the “specific” weapon that you wanted from the lich

What is the best element for each weapon? It seems like heat is generically good, but there are a few like the tenant envoy that are better with toxic as that converts its aoe into viral.
I'd say toxin because you only need to add one more elemental mod to come up with either viral (cold+toxin) or corrosive (cold+electricity), giving you one more free flex slot since viral and corrosive are the two most commonly used elementals in the game (correct me if I'm wrong).

One that I can think of is Nukor; If you want a status applicator to give more damage to your melee (assuming you use condition overload on your melee setups) then you could go for a Magnetic progenitor so you could fit in 3 elementals at once. Other than that, I can't think of other instances so there you go :D

I feel you on that. I've just been collecting weapons and warframes like I used to and I am enjoying the game. Just try and learn one new thing at a time or progress through the new quests and learn those requirements.

I made it quite far back in 2017-18 too and I lost my account to Sony jail, restarted on Switch and climbed the ranks with efficiency this time, but now I feel just like you, I feel very new and like a noob in most of the new content

If you feel it's worth it then yes, doesn't make or break the weapon though
If you do decide to though, when you're farming the weapon that you want to consume to boost your main one then go for the element that you don't have an ephemera of. Valence fusion is seamless nowadays so you'll keep the element you want and any forma/adapters you have.
For the tenet melee weapons though you actually want as low as possible on the grigori/livia due to the bonus interfering with slash weighting. Exec doesn't really matter since the weighting is bad anyway. Agendus is the same way (doesn't have slash at all)
killed my first ever lich today stupid level six not god fearing soul she was I used a wukong with roar and acceltra just spawned my twin targetted the lich roared and then turned into gas for the rest of eternity and eventually the godlike monster was dead got a weak tonkor out of it mostly just wanted to get rid of it so I could get a new lich
