Splash of oil, onions, 1/2 tsp Fenugreek leaves, (Kasuri Methi) 1/2 tsp salt, tsp of mix powder, tomato puree to prevent spices from burning and deglase pan. Generous amount of keema. The chef prefers to use warm rice as apposed to cold. Good luck you can't lose with Misty Ricardo! 👍🏻
The “generous amount of cumin’” was the keema, not cumin. Otherwise, the rice would be totally dominated by that amount of cumin and wouldn’t contain any keema meat😳
@@wedmoreblue whoops thanks for pointing that out! It thought that was an awful lot of cumin! 😂 😂
Thank god I came here after comment was edited 🤣 but good job I'll defo try this
Thank you for the recipe 😊
Cheers for this, cant hear jack s...t on the video 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Looks lush, clean kitchen too
Interesting and looks great, but audio is poor. Can hear the rice cooking, can't hear you.
Where is the ingredients...😮😮
Recipe please? Looks fab but can’t hear. Thanks
What are the ingredients ? Looks great !!
Mr. Misty...was that normal.curry powder or mix powder?
Hi Daniel, its mix powder
Is keema just lamb mince or is it something else or a combination of more things. Like how would I acquire it?
Keema is minced meat, in the UK usually lamb or even mutton . You could substitute with beef for a different flavour. The mince is pre-cooked with spices etc. so it's fast to make a curry with it.
@@MistyRicardo ah ok brilliant thank you
Just found you guy's, great vid's , so thanks for that, I do love cooking homestyle irc
Really delish. Nice little video.
Need to work on the audio I think....
Looks great and the new curry compendium book is awesome…would love to see how one of the restaurants do chilli rice 🌶..
Great video but I could hardly hear you for the rattle of the spoon in the wok my friend 😭👍
Missed loads of what you said ,, as he was cooking, you spoke ,,
It's the only rice I ever eat been trying to find a good recipe but I can't hear what he's putting into it
Audio still not great, but looks amazing.
Keema rice looks great, but is it a main meal or a a compliment to something else.?
It's an accompaniment, but delicious on its own too.
I always order keema rice with my curry, absolutely love it
As always, its all about the mix powder. Nice show.
Looks very nice, pity I don’t live 4 miles away nowadays, I’m 250 miles away ☹️
With each ingredient, there is a clanging of spoon on the pan. So we have to guess the ingredients
Looks really good. A few additional chillies then it would be perfect for me. 🙂
1080p Video, VHS Audio. Great Video but again audio is poor. Please wear a mic so us mere mortals can hear what and how much of the ingredients to use. Other than that great vid!!
A short while after doing this vid I invested in a better mic. 👍
Here that sizziling thats flavour pish its water burning fact
So where exactly was the minced lamb 🤔
2 mins in. 2:00
