I know exactly what square inspired this one! I've been planning to make an afghan, with it, for ages, but the square is made solid, and I'm hesitant to make a solid square afghan, but THIS I can do!!!! Yay! Thank you so much for designing a square suitable for this lazy crocheter!
You're most welcome VapingBee, enjoy your project, Anja x

Eram.crochetandcrafts you're very welcome, glad you like it, enjoy, Anja x
I am making this currently. I decided to make it using the Stylecraft yarn which we don't have here in the States. It was a bit of a learning curve using this ply yarn for the first round but became more comfortable with it each round. The colors are beautiful. My first square combo is Storm blue, Gold, Boysenberry, and Petrol. Thank you for such a great tutorial
That sounds like an amazing colour combo Mae, similar to mine! Thank you, Anja x
Lovely square Anya gorgeous colour choice I love style craft dk.thanks so much for sharing your amazing talents.💙💙💙
Hi Deborah, you're welcome, Anja x
This is a lovely square. I really like this create and make series, Anja. And the mystery project at the end makes it even more exciting!! Thank you for sharing and explaining so well all your lovely work xx
Ha ha! Just caught up with Sunday's live and now I know what the project is!! Great idea!!
Thank you Tracey, you will love it I'm sure, Anja x
Such a beautiful Granny Square❤❤❤❤
Thank you very much Linda, Anja x
I love this Granny Square! Beautiful colors! Thanks so much for sharing
I really like this square. I’m tempted to make a blanket of these squares using my Vintage Blanket kit, with every centre in cream but the rest of the squares different. Of course that will be after I finish the Jam Jar Happiness, which is enjoyable but is taking me forever.
Oh yes John, that would look amazing! I loved the JJH, I guess it depends on how much time you have to spare, thanks Anja x
@@OpheliaTalks Yes it’s all about time. Even at my age I’m still working in school three days a week, mostly English with refugees. Plus the fact that I’m painfully slow and awkward at crochet, not having started until I was over 60 and arthritic. Still, I love doing it.
OMG beautiful! I love it, undecided what I want to do with this. Thank you for sharing Take care!😊
Thank you Cecilia, I'm sure you'll come up with something wonderful! Anja x
So beautiful! Love the design and colors you chose!
Thank you Karen, enjoy, Anja x
This square is so pretty Anja I'll definitely be giving this ago ❤
Wonderful Jo, have fun, Anja x
Beautiful square ❤
Thank you so much Raffaella, Anja x

Congratulations on the 14K 🎉I love the new granny square great color choice !
Thank you so much Christina! Anja x
I'm currently making a vest for my mom in turquoise/petrol/green and light gray using this square, I just love it! Next I plan to do a blanket.
(Kallax is located just a few miles from here, best known as an airport and air force base)
Oh that's great mercurious5053, and wow, to be that close!!! Thank you, Anja x
Fancy, Shmansy girl!!!! I’m almost hyperventilating 😮, can’t wait to try this and I have an idea 💡. If it wasn’t for the fact that it’s my time for bed, my IPad is down to 3% And I’ve been knitting my head off so my middle finger, left hand is AGONY…….. I would sit and do this right now. Gorgeous, I love it.
Oh Christine, you need to take a break, I know, sometimes you see something that just begs to be made, but you need to rest too! Sleep well, Anja x
I think I want to stop before the last round,it looked like a very nice snow flake I'd use a white cotton or a white sparkle 3 sport weight yarn thank you this maybe used in a small lapghan.
That's a nice idea Tammy, you do whatever you please with the square, I just give inspiration, if it sparks an idea, then that's perfect, thank you, Anja x
Thank you Anja. I especially like how you showed how to square it up ready for granny clusters. I wonder if similar could be done with the spring flower? I love the jewel yarn colours you chose. Is there a yarn pack of jewel colours with them in? I love the gold especially. 😊
Hello Sarah, there's no specific pack, but we do sell the colours as separate balls on our website if that helps! Thank you, Anja x
So beautiful! ❤❤
Thank you Theresia! Anja x 😊
Super cute !! ❤❤❤❤
Thank you Aida, Anja x
Gorgeous square Anja.
Thank you very much Joyce, enjoy, Anja x
Que lindo Square! Muito obrigada!🇧🇷🇧🇷
No thank you very much rosangelacarrico4979, very kind words, Anja x
😊 Congratulations 14 1k
What a beautiful square.
BUT I have to say I LIVE YOUR RING on your right hand...❤❤❤ where did you find that?? its absolutely gorgeous. ❤❤❤😊
Hi Gayle, this ring has been with me for a long time, I bought it many years ago and the shop is now gone, sadly. Thank you, Anja x
What an absolutely beautiful square, I love it!! You mentioned a feature project that you are going to do using this sqaure..... Have you made a video yet for that project? I have been all over your page and cannot find it.
Yes Carolyn, the project was the Kallax Bag, if you put Kallax in the search section the videos will come up. Thank you, Anja x
This is eerily similar to the Willow square that is on youtube.
Similar is not the same though Mae, thank you, Anja x
🤩🤩🤩
Thank you chicahandmade, enjoy, Anja x
I love the squares and the colour combinations. That’s my problem, I am rubbish at putting colours together in my head and then transferring it to my crochet. Is there any practical help available - I did try a colour wheel, but not very successfully, I’m afraid.
Me too!! I may try the color wheel if I can find a decent one that will print out well.
Hello Maggie, how about visiting my webshop and having a look at some of the pack colours, they're full of colours that go well together! I hope this helps, Anja x
@@OpheliaTalks oh, thank you very much. I will do 👍 x
beautiful!👌
I wonder if you can't work the thread in while starting with a new color? instead of having to remove them with a needle afterwards. This would save a lot of time.
Could this be possible?
Hi Maria, technically it would work, but I personally don't trust it, I always work them in with a needle after, just to be safe. Thanks for watching, Anja x
@@OpheliaTalks
Hey Anja, Thank you for your answer. I appreciate that.🥰
When you did the 12 rounds of granny clusters did you turn each round.
Hi Kim, no, I did not, but if you find your work twists you might have to try it, thank you, Anja x
If i am a tight crocheter what size hook would I use
Make a couple of samples using different hook sizes to see what “fabric” you like best. It is only yarn. Nothing is in stone😊❤
Hello Karen, as Chris has said, make some samples and see which you feel is best! Too stiff, use a bigger hook, too loose and no stitch definition, use a smaller hook!
I hope this helps, Anja x
@@OpheliaTalks ok will try! Have never ever made a granny square before lol!
Beautiful square❤ Where's the list of items that we're going to need? I've looked several times in the description box and I dont see it.
Please check again Michelle, it's at the beginning of the video, thank you, Anja x
@OpheliaTalks Hi Anja! I just watched the video, again where you talked about the yarn needed. Nothing was mentioned about anything else. Then, I went to the end of the video where you talked about you made 5 of the squares, and you mentioned that we'd need other items. You said you'd have a list in the description box for us, and we could go to your Amazon link as well. There's no list in the description and your Amazon link has quite a few items there. So, im still lost trying to figure out what other items we need.
@@Michelle.053:12
@@goddessjuyce828 I already know that I'm going to need all of that. I'm talking about the items Anja said we're going to need to make the project she's making.
I can't find the supply list.....😢
Carol it is right at the beginning of the video, there are timestamps to help you, thank you, Anja x
