Basically, yeah. Though, it's possibly due to how "special abilities" work. As in, most abilities a singular character may have, or just, how kirby's copied ability is in contrast to the person he copied. The phrase being applied to kirby may also be due to how a ability from one being comes to be, i.e: physiology based abilities, abilities that are the building blocks of creation specific to said character and their series, abilities tied to weapons or well, those (semi) sentient ones (like the monado and stuff). It might also just come from people assuming kirby with literally become what he inhales in virtually every way (which could include things besides just the abilities), prob cuz of all the anime hair he gets in smash bros. It is unconfirmed whether or not Void is directly related to Kirby. Straight up. Prepare for a long response; it’s needed. Believe me, I originally hard believed that they were directly linked, but looking at the Kirby Wiki and the Japanese translations of Star Allies pause screens, things changed. Let’s just say the English localizations for Star Allies are not as accurate as we think. According to the descriptions, Void takes different forms depending on the vibes it is exposed to. Because it’s near Kirby in its final form, it takes the form of Kirby. This does not mean that Kirby reincarnated from it, but rather Kirby made it reincarnate into something good post-Star Allies. Not proof, but nor disproof. So what about Dark Matter? Void COULD be the originator of Dark Matter. When it first entered Kirby’s universe, it was leaking dark energy. Perhaps this became Dark Matter, a negative reincarnation, explaining it’s forms and attacks before the core form. Not proof, not disproof. This leads to a logical issue with the Kirby = Void theory. If Void was sealed away, how could it reincarnate? If it reincarnated into Kirby before being sealed, that means Kirby is millennia old, and while this COULD be the case (the anime and the whole baby thing is non-canon), in general it just doesn’t feel right, imo. Next, and most importantly, is Kirby REALLY the embodiment of positive emotion, mirror to Dark Matter’s negativity? Dark Matter became overly positive in one case (Gooey), but is otherwise just a hivemind being of destruction. But Kirby, for his heroism and kindness, is not a paragon of positivity. He hunted Dedede down when the Star Rod was broken, rampaged everywhere when his cake got stolen, despaired when Elfilin got kidnapped, feared Necrodeus, and so on. He is “human” in emotion, for lack of better terms, and not purely positive. Not like the pure negativity of Dark Matter. Finally, is Void even a God of sorts? Eldritch abomination, yes, but not necessarily a God. When Hyness made his cult praising Void, it’s noted that he INTERPRETED the ancient texts as to believing that Void was a benevolent God (like really, benevolent?). He didn’t really know for sure (and probably was just driven crazy for his lust for power and revenge to think otherwise). Perhaps it could be related to some deity, or even have deific traits, but not a full blown God. The main reason why people jumped onto this train is because of Occam’s Razor (the simplest solution is the best/correct one). Void is depicted as a God. It shows itself more powerful than anything else we’ve fought before. It references Dark Matter in its appearance and attacks, and it’s core form has Kirby’s face. Ergo, Kirby is related to Dark Matter, both reincarnated from Void, a God of Destruction. COULD Kirby be related to Void? Yes, sure, it’d be real cool. Is it 100% CONFIRMED? No, absolutely not.

The biggest misconception of them all is Kirby being a reincarnation of Void Termina. Some people take it as a fact, most others as just a theory, and the rest know it's wrong. The truth is that Kirby objectively cannot be a reincarnarion of Void Termana, but too many people don't know the full reasons for this. If you're interested, I can share them with you so you might make a video on it.
@@maybenick this is also a misconception, Kirby is neither a reincarnation nor related to void, Void just copied what it saw (Hyness’s worship of dark matter And Kirby’s Face)
The real misconception is that people think void termina and astral birth void are the same entity Void termina doesn't reincarnate but astral birth void does Void termina is a reincarnation of astral birth void the theory's are that Kirby and Zero also are void reincarnation Kirby never met astral birth void
@@al3xand993 That's a headcanon with nothing to back it up. Void Termina reincarnates because that's what he's stated to do. Astral Birth Void is not a name, it's Void, and he used to be "Void Termina, True Destroyer of Worlds" too. Void is a reincarnation, and so is Void Termina. There are as many Voids as there are dimensions, all proven to reincarnate, none proven to be a reincarnation from another copy of themselves as if the latter was sending off avatars because that's not reincarnation. Reincarnation is you die, you revive, and so on, there cannot be many of you because of this, Kirby, Zero and Void Termina existed in the same time, they cannot be a reincarnation of someone because that's not how reincarnation works, let alone with how it's stated that there are as many Voids as the number of dimensions, 3 dudes with Void in 1 universe goes against this. Kirby never met Void, that much is true. But it still, while non-canon, holds some story to it due to how Void died.
One of the biggest misconceptions with kirby lore is that there was an interview with sakurai that said kirby right back at ya takes place in a non canon alternate universe. No such thing exists, either some Mandela effect happened, or some right back at ya haters just made up some lie to cope. There is no conformation on if it is canon or not. Don't listen to anyone that tells you it isn't.
People base it off occums razor, the material itself has gotten stuff added into the main continuity, and that kinda happens to this day but not exactly. A contra to this is kirby's age being -200 or something, ssectonia clone's description suggests a contrary to this.
I'm not sure why Star Allies is even being brought up. The misconceptions in this video are false views that can be disproven by fact, whereas a statement like "Star Allies is bad" or "Star Allies is good" aren't factual statements. They're opinions that people formed based on their experiences with the game, and anyone else could argue against them without being objectively wrong. The only objective thing about Star Allies' quality is that it had a more mixed critical reception.

yeah in america it is just seen as kirby being male and japan he is nuetral.
kirby is -200 years old. is this canon?
No. Anything in the Kirby anime isn’t canon
It isn't confirmed or deconfirmed. Believe it if you want and don't listen to any neckbeards that say otherwise.
In other words....
It is headcanon and not actually canonically confirmed.
@@TheRealSuperKirby Did you just call people who don’t treat the anime as canon… neckbeards?
This is why people don’t stop bringing up the whole Susie incident.
@@FedoraKirb or course they are. Who goes around saying "um actually the anime isn't canon" with no source for their claim other than neckbeards that just want ruin people's fun?
hi kirby!!
Please explain
Kirby’s not necessarily a reincarnation of void termina, but Kirby and Void Termina are without a doubt related.
@@maybenick this is also a misconception, Kirby is neither a reincarnation nor related to void, Void just copied what it saw (Hyness’s worship of dark matter And Kirby’s Face)
The real misconception is that people think void termina and astral birth void are the same entity
Void termina doesn't reincarnate but astral birth void does
Void termina is a reincarnation of astral birth void the theory's are that Kirby and Zero also are void reincarnation
Kirby never met astral birth void
@@cjm1242 the kirby anime doesn't tell us anything about kirby's age, just that he wasn't supposed to show up until 200 years later.
@@TheRealSuperKirby hence why i referred to it as -200, since most people are familiar with it that way. Which led into what i said after that.
even if Sakurai didn't say that, the anime still is a non canon alternate universe, so whats the big problem?
@@yuilinkmat9469 lies lies lies. Not one thing has said that.
I still think kirby is male but do except neutral
Star Allies is a bad game
Star Allies is a weaker modern game, not a bad one.
Bad=no slightly flawed=mabye
Level design is the only problem in star allies compared to other modern games
I'm not sure why Star Allies is even being brought up. The misconceptions in this video are false views that can be disproven by fact, whereas a statement like "Star Allies is bad" or "Star Allies is good" aren't factual statements. They're opinions that people formed based on their experiences with the game, and anyone else could argue against them without being objectively wrong. The only objective thing about Star Allies' quality is that it had a more mixed critical reception.
@@C_Arson dude it was obviously meant to be a joke (at least in the video)
