"As a dark matter of fact" ooh that pun hurt Adventure/NiDL tries to do something special with every boss, whether it be a duo fight, usage of a specific copy ability or Paint Roller RNG - that is pretty commendable for the second mainline title in series. That being said though, I'm not a big fan of how certain bosses heavily encourage the player to use a certain copy ability, since it limits freedom with beating the boss with a different copy ability (or ability-less but this is a Sakurai Kirby game why would you go ability-less in a Sakurai Kirby game). I think that Nightmare deserves more credit for setting up a foundation for future final bosses in the series. Big scary floating orb, shmup section, teleport spam, 11th-hour power - it's all there. People like to talk about how cool Marx is as a twist and a final boss, but I think that Nightmare executed both aspects much better, which again is really impressive for being the second mainline title in the series. One argument I can see for placing Heavy Mole lower down the list is all the OHKOs in the fight. Yes, there are other fights in the series with OHKOs (most notably Mecha-Kracko and Sectonia), but none of them feature their OHKOs nearly as prevalently as this cycloptic machine. This can be especially frustrating in the Boss Endurance (but again that same boss endurance has Adventure/NiDL Meta Knight so why would you put yourself through this suffering), where dying means restarting the entire boss rush all over again.
Channel Kirby needs more popularity maaaan. This channel is so 🔥 I always see that Mr Shine and Mr Bright don’t get enough credit. I love them, their boss fight is really creative. Also, I can’t be the only one who really hates the Nightmare Phase 1 music in the remake right? It just sounds so off and doesn’t get the vibe right. Phase 2 also has a similar problem but is a bit better.
the remake, in trying to give Nightmare Orb something that vaguely resembles a melody, loses the raw intensity that the original track had, but honestly i prefer the remake's version since the original kinda hurts to listen to lol
@@Im_leaving i suppose it depends on what one values in a ranking - whether that be creativity, fun (gameplay), aesthetic or other criterias (worst-to-best rankings are subjective, after all, so no ranking can truly be correct or incorrect) take computer virus for an example - i would probably rank this fight pretty low because the actual fight is a trainwreck and a half (not to mention you have to fight it 3 times in the original and *6* times in the remake), but someone else might rank it high due to the creative concept, unique music and having an EX form with a dragon which looks so cool that it got referenced in RTDL

Good Video
Beating up the bad guys and taking away there powers.
I love these Kirby bosses!
I think Whispy Woods stayed the same so they can show how much of a difference the copy abuilities make to the game
Someone else put heavy mole as the worst boss
tbf that fight has OHKOs *everywhere* (and trying to hit the boss with an ability or a star bullet is also pretty annoying)
@@SCoreReMake agree, but it gets the creativity points
