Easily one of the most visually impressive Kirby games, I have great memories from this stuff at the very least.

man i love whispy's smug grin
Spinoff bosses are always interesting to talk about, seeing as they play completely differently from mainline Kirby bosses, yet still manage to maintain the 'Kirby' charm of the main series bosses. Bosses in this game are especially expressive, from Whispy going O_O when you're about to hit him with a super dash or Claycia casually reading a book while she torments you with lasers, cannons and other fancy attacks.
I think Claycia really did the original Drawcia Sorceress fight justice as a spiritual successor. Unlike her Canvas Curse counterpart, Claycia makes it very clear that she has a shield and how to break that shield is silently taught to the player in the short 'level' before the fight.
Another example of a Kirby spinoff with unique, interesting bosses is Mass Attack. That game has tons of bosses and midbosses, and also manages to capture the 'Kirby' charm despite being nothing like a Kirby game (apart from the stellar references).
