I like how they tried to take a bullet hell approach to the final boss. It doesn't necessarily deviate from the original formula of dodge and attack. It was Unfortunate how it was unable to deliver a plethora of bullets besides bombs, and thus creating a more lackluster boss. You could tell the idea was incomplete. Very unique in my opinion
The idea wasn't incomplete at all. He changes the patterns of his bombs almost every time he shoots them. He makes a really good and challenging bullet hell type of boss, and is by no means lackluster.

Rewatching the video however, I still hold the same opinion. The concept is cool in how you navigate, it just leaves more to be desired. A slow and timed homing missile, maybe larger projectiles to navigate around. You know the such. Not minimizing your opinion at all though, if that's how you feel about it, rock on dude.

Something I love about this game is that, just like the entity possessing her, claycia's colors are moving rainbows when she has the barrier up While alot of people hate this games style, personally, I still adore its game play and the way everything looks and feels. The lore of this game is also quite amazing, especially seeing how dark matter tends to be emotionless and care free about what happens to them, while dark crafter fears kirby and took the colors from dreamland to be able to feel happiness.

Remember Drawcia? Take a look at both her and Dark Matter when he first appeared... what do you see? A floating eyeball wearing a cloak. Dark Crafter isn't the first Dark Matter clone, and odds are high he won't be the last. That being said... the first phase of this fight looked interesting on paper, but the fight takes both much too long and then ends in a kinda anticlimactic way, and while I do like the setup for the second phase, it pretty much fails to deliver.

I tried to play this game a while back (4 years I think) and it was so difficult for me and my sisters (we were in multiplayer), but the only things I remember of it is the escape level where Kirby escapes some place as a rocket (I have almost no memory of it other than I was the one who beat it) and a sand boss with hands that tried to grab Kirby (I know this happened throughout the game) and a sea level that was so difficult that we quit when we tried to do it over and over.
When it was almost the end and the glasses turn into a monster in kirby's epic yarn when he defeated the sorcerer he does a victory dance but then he has to deal with the knitting needles
I don't get why people think phase two is awful? Looks fun to me, yeesh. Pipe down. Number of hits is irrelevant to the quality of the fight. There's a lot of games where the final boss has a long phase one and a chase segment for phase two.

I think the final boss in kirby's new game: Planet Robobot was more memorable and entertaining than this boss. What amazes me is that this "draw the path" feature was used in kirby's canvas curse and the final boss was WAY more exiting than this one in my opinion, it had more memorable attacks, great soundtrack, and it had more variety in attacks, and still they couldn't come up with a more memorable final boss... I know this game had a unique features with the amiibo stuff and good graphics, but that doesn't make a game good. (and yeah this boss looks like a crazed cotton candy)

This Game has the most STUPID looking Final Boss EVER!
In my opinion.
IKR it looks so boring I beat him for the first time without losing a life or damage at all
I think the final boss in kirby's new game: Planet Robobot
was more memorable and entertaining than this boss.
What amazes me is that this "draw the path" feature was used in kirby's canvas curse and the final boss was WAY more exiting than this one in my opinion, it had more memorable attacks, great soundtrack, and it had more variety in attacks, and still they couldn't come up with a more memorable final boss...
I know this game had a unique features with the amiibo stuff and good graphics, but that doesn't make a game good. (and yeah this boss looks like a crazed cotton candy)

The evilest and most nightmarish kirby boss in my opinion. Not even Zero can compare.
I like Raibow Curse a lot I hope we get a game like this on the Switch, maybe Kirby and The Rainbow Curse Deluxe or a new game with this style of gameplay, whatever Kirby pumps out, I’m looking forward to it.
Which is impressive, because Dark Nebula was trying to _fight_ Kirby. Dark Crafter was trying to _get away from him._

I'm pretty sure Dark Crafter is a Dark Matter. Same MO and has 'dark' in its name. Plus the last time we saw something with that kind of name, Dark Nebula, it ended up being a Dark Matter. Those things are an infection.

Tbh the final boss was probably supposed to be a very easy boss, but it was a formative moment for little me and my brother after spending several hours trying to beat him
