Easy brake light bulb change on 2017-2020 Hyundai Elantra

  • Use a 10 mm socket and ratchet or a 10mm wrench to get the nuts off of the back of the brake light assembly. The part number from autozone is Sylvania 2357LL (Long life bulb) or the standard bulb is the Sylvania 7528. They are about $7-$8 at autozone.

    I'd like to say THANK YOU very much to The Car Stuff, for making this video. I had watched another video and I couldn't get it to shake off. Your trick of, leaving the nut a little bit on the bottom bolt and giving it a couple of taps with a hammer-- WORKED PERFECTLY. THANKS AGAIN 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

    I broke mine while trying to take it out... it is really hard to get it out. You have to use a lot of force. Now, my other tail light is burned out. From what I see, the tapping is the key. Brute force work, but it could fall out like mine did. Whish me luck lol. It cost me 100 dollars to repalce 😢

    Yeah, not so easy. Tried jiggling prying for over an effin hour. Always looks sooo easy. But never is. Ughhhh
