Mario Kart: Double Dash!! - All Battle Modes & Stages (3 Players)

- This is going to be a capture of the Battle Mode in "Mario Kart: Double Dash!!"
In this video (using my ElGato Game Capture HD due to not being able to record the Dolphin emulator with OBS, especially since the emulator itself lags with some games), I will be playing with a local friend as well as his cousin through all three modes.
I'm Player 1, my local friend is Player 3 and his cousin is Player 2.
First, we will play the Balloon Battle, then we'll play the Shine Thief, and finally we'll play Bob-Omb Blast.
We will play all six Battle Stages in all three modes, but we will play most of the stages at random until we run out of choices.
The six Battle Stages are:
1. Cookie Land (this stage returned in Mario Kart Wii; however, there is a similar-yet-different stage in Mario Kart DS, known as Tart Top)
2. Block City (this stage is different from Mario Kart 64's Block Fort & Mario Kart Wii's Block Plaza; the former also returned in Mario Kart DS)
3. Luigi's Mansion (unlocked after winning a Gold trophy in the 150cc Mushroom Cup; this stage returned in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe)
4. Nintendo GameCube (later a DS stage was used to coincide with Mario Kart DS)
5. Pipe Plaza (this stage returned in Mario Kart DS)
6.Tilt-A-Kart (unlocked after winning a Gold trophy in the Mirror Flower Cup)

I remember playing this every thanksgiving when my cousins came over. We’d be upstairs playing the versus and the battle mode. The nostalgia. ❤️

You should. I even recorded a 100% of this game with all unlockable features, characters and karts.
I'm going to try to get some 4-Player footage for this eventually. And I need to rack up some footage for the VS. Mode as well.

MeleeMan 14 they should bring it back but that you are able to play online with other players.
Same! I miss having to play as no one but only Toad and Toadette (which is why she is the reason for this being my all time fave Mario Kart game).

It would have been cool if on the gamecube map you drived by the eject button everyone would get launched into the air
If you also meant that so players could go off course, I'd agree.
There's always that one friend who is an amateur at the game and ends up winless.
I miss when Balloon Battle used to be about taking others down and avoiding yourself from running out of Balloons! What the heck happened to old-school battle mode, Nintendo!?!? :(
since wii the battle modes just suck! The stages are the biggest problems!I don't get it. They are huge! Only huuge stages tho! Why? I just wanna play with 1 or 2 friends.. not get lost in the stage and wasting time trying to find one another. Pure Crap!!
@@eddio9466 To be honest, I kinda like some of the big battle stages in modern-day Mario Kart, but I do also really understand your problem with them, so I can't completely disagree with your complaint on that issue.
@@sbprakamranonymity4780 i get it. but u can't always have 10 friends over. It usually, is up to 5 friends. Maybe just one friend. I remember in super mario kart me and my brother had a blast in 1v1 battle. It's impossible right now but i do get u. Keep the new stages but just make some small ones too
@@eddio9466 exactly. At least Cookie Land (for instance) is perfectly sized for 2-4 players (or battling against 1-3 friends), so just keep small stages like that and GBA Battle Course 1 as well. :)
to be fair, It's really annoying when you die in DS. You can only place REAL item boxes instead of FAKE ones.

Most of all the Special Items are available for all the characters in Battle Mode
