These are the same places expecting you to pay 1500/1600 a month for a 1 bed/1 bath 900 sq. foot unit (maybe 2 bed if youre lucky) with nothing included because of "location" lol. Absolute robbery.
That's disgusting, that place should be shut down. She said she did a walk through, they could of shown a good part, and then leased them the disaster that was shown. It's hard to find housing in this market.
Does anyone know how sick black mold can make you? Don't take another apartment there. Save your pictures and get out. Then find an attorney who will do a mass tort for all. IF the school was paying for students to live there, shame on them for not knowing or not doing anything about it!! There must be more to this story...
"mass tort"? Must be UK phrase. Not used in the US and even though my BFF lives in the UK, I've never heard it. Perhaps "pro Bono" is the American term? It means Free.
Called in work orders, no responses, horrible management, and forcing the residents to deal with the problems somehow. I dont recommend it all, ive only been here almost a year and its crazy how lazy management is
I’m a USF student and I considered signing a lease there. read some reviews and found a girl’s 40 minute RUclips video about it and decided not to. very glad I didn’t.
the black girl with the yellow shirt? just came from that video. i toured the ivy today and the model room they showed us was really nice, but everyone else has convinced me not to sign with them.
We toured those same Apts, a few years ago , when my son started school at USF.. they were all just as miserable then as they are now.. there is no where to live close to campus in Tampa.. the whole area is bad, mold, destruction, leaks, bad flooring, parking, ended up transferring to Saint Petersburg Campus, not bad, definitely 100X's better than tampa...got that bachelor in May...YEAHHHHH..
Identify owner, management company & all code violations over the past 2 years. Plus, see if they are receiving any tax breaks which puts their compliance on a higher level. Contact state office that deals w/rental housing.
Thats what happens when half the country wants to move to the same state. Maybe they should stay in the state they were in and fix the mess they created instead of walking away.
No man this is just negligence. And people blaming anyone other than the ones who are truly responsible for this, like yourself, are the reason nobody cares to fix it.

Call the Mayor's office. People come here because they're doing such amazing things upgrading Tampa. Which in the grand scheme of things good but with rising rents it makes it VERY difficult when these young people are looking for housing. These young people are our future but I'm sure it's a punch in the gut when they're faced with these conditions.

Code enforcement - Where are you?
If no one reports it, how are they to know?
