The last hurrah of the British Invasion. These chord changes are the watermark of progressive rock. I would love to hear a recording of, say, Pat Metheny, John McLaughlin, Keith Jarrett, Ralph Towner, Alan Holdsworth,Steve Hackett, Steve Howe, David Gilmore, or even Wayne Shorter and other horn players soloing over these wonderful changes in a homage to Jeff Beck..
Not really my cup of tea, but great playing, anyway. Did you guys record the parts other than the obvious ones? What happened to your pimped squier, by the way?
@Rushisftw eh? doesn't a cover supposed to be 100%? it's the tribute that doesn't. check out those tribute album for Metallica. nothing really goes the same, especially the solo lead guitar parts.
Needs more emotion and jeff beckness. Some would argue thats your style of playing his song. I still enjoyed it but didn't get the same connection i got from listening to jeff backs performance.
This particular version is the better of the two. You get to see Fran lay down the drum track and he does an exceptional job.
RIP Master.

@jeremyrom More emotion? I disagree. This kid's the real deal and hits the sweet spot. I've not heard anyone better on youtube.
@mikedg18 Woops, Bobby's backing track. Got it!
love you, really nice guitar

Well done, young man! Such focus with no tension in the body at all. Just try to keep your head up so you can connect with your audience.
@jeremyrom eh but you gotta remember it's a cover not a tribute, so not everything should be 100% the same.
I agree and well put.....the kid is making it his own. It doesn't need more "Beckness"......Jack is his own player.
Nice Job.
