I only started to listen to Taylor after she started the ERA tour and all the hoopla about difficulties getting tickets. I enjoyed some of her songs. Did see,enjoyed her film. She has my most respect when i founded out, she donated money to every cities she performed at during Era tour. Because it was NDA, San Francisco food bank disclosed her donation was enough to feed 500,000 peoples a month for 1 year! She just a kind hearted person. I love Tay. And I'm old.

I heard that too, in the past month, maybe or so?!?! EXACTLY!!!! It's astounding what she's done!!!! You have Prime Ministers like Justin Trudeau, who actually tweeted Taylor Swift & her camp, asking her to perform more in Canada?!?! I would've thot she would've already included Canada?!?! BUT Justin Trudeau went to see her perform I'm sure with his kids in one of her LA concerts!!!! Don't get wrong, I believe he LOVED the concert!!!! BUT what World Leader, oth than where there's Dictators, wouldn't WANT Taylor Swift to perform considering how much it has BOOSTED every country's economy where she performs!!!! So, she now is in Vancouver BC for a few nights & Toronto for a few nights!!!And 2ndly as ouI don't know?!?! He said the oth week, in a press conference, that he wzn't really thinking about retirement yet!!! PLUS...I think he'd miss his team, esp Pat!!! They Chiefs are STILL on top of their game!!! Even w/ ups & downs, they are solid come playoffs! You can't EVER UNDERESTIMATE the Chiefs!!! And exactly as u said, that she's given a VERY GENEROUS AMOUNT of money to help those less fortunate in each city, she's held a concerts!!!!

Whoopi was right again... taylor deserved the person of the year title and also she was right saying advocating is not for everyone. Elizabeth Olsen deleted her social media because people expected her to say and do stuff when she was just trying to use social media like the rest of us. Its kinda toxic not all celebrities asked to be famous therefore not all of them should be obligated to always speak out and get potential hate. Pres Zelensky (do they have to be American?) It's only because of him, face to face support to those fighting, tireless effort for global support (however he can get it), innovative weapons/strategy of warfare and survival, unwillingness to surrender to Goliath; that keeps these men and women fighting and hoping in Ukraine, might I add, a former comedian!!

To me it sounds like she (Sunny) doesn't hold Taylor to the same level as the others, like, BECAUSE she is an entertainer she is NOT good enough/worthy enough to hold that title, EVEN THOUGH she has accomplished something incredible with the economy of your country and, dare I say the other 3 countries she already came to.
I love Sunny because she KNOWS the law and when they talk about law-related things I love her input. But so far every time Taylor has been brought up (Including in 2015-16 with the phone call debacle) she has found a way to diminish her accomplishments or to accuse her of something.

The order of Taylor's discography includes her self-titled debut album Taylor Swift, Fearless, Speak Now, Red, 1989, Reputation, Lover, folklore, evermore, and Midnights. She has songs that aren't on her albums, like Ronan, which is a song about a little boy who died of cancer just before he turned 4 yrs. old. Long story short, Taylor had been reading Mya Thompson's blog (I think I heard that Mya had met Taylor after one of her concerts) after Ronan passed away, Taylor called Mya, she had to leave a message, anyway Taylor told her she had written a song for Ronan. Taylor gave Mya writing credit and the proceeds go to fight childhood cancer. Taylor has only sung the song 3 times when they did events to raise money for cancer research, Taylor sang it at one of her concerts one time and that was for Maya who was at the concert. About 2 years later Mya and her husband had a baby, they named her Poppy Ronan. Ronan had 2 older brothers (twins), There is a slide show video with the song on YT, if you listen and watch will will need a tissue or 2.

No. That wasn't jealousy or race bias, it feels and looks different. She was imho simply reflecting loudly on what it used to mean to be Times person of the year. Sunny is thoughtful, and takes a lot longer than say Whoopie to arrive at a fixed opinion. I was in their audience as a guest recently, and took the time to do a hard dive into all the ladies spirits/auras. (Whoopie was not there, unfortunately). And you don't WANT to know. The ladies that seemed attractive and appealing at first then became very scary or not cool, and vice versa. Yes Sunny has some.. stuff.. going on , but I feel that she is fair enough not to let it rule over her verdict. I left liking her the most of everyone in the room.
Oh and I LOVE Taylor Swift. But Taylor is getting so much press anyway, and MAYBE coordinated group action would have been better to highlight. You know I think what might LOOK like being negative is Sunny trying to see the problem from different viewpoints. Which is valuable, and a cautious and diligent approach. Like 360 degrees. That takes a while, highlights all positive and negative aspects, and fits her personality. So.. I am kind of unsure how I feel about this, even if its a great win for young women.

Yes and I understand that not agreeing doesn't take away, but the prosecutors are in the middle of the situation, they haven't accomplished a conviction that from what I see is what the majority of the country wants. in that regard I kinda agree with Alyssa, when they win that case then, by all means, give them the cover (this is gonna be a more than 1-year thing, at least it looks like a very LONG game). FYI re Bruce Springsteen - he DID do fundraising for Biden and even performed at the Innaguration. Not sure why his name got dragged into this conversation honestly as maybe the panelists forgot he actually does do stuff for Dems because he realizes the extreme risk of not putting his celebrity on the line and it hasn't affected his career one bit for doing so. That's just a side note because while I personally am not a Taylor Swfit fan musically, her power and influence cannot be underestimated so I fully respect her as a business woman, for the career she has (and I totally respect and love she 'took back' her music from a jerk producer and re-recorded the entire album just so she could fully own the songs - smart smart smart and also an eff you so she could reclaim what was hers), and also the truth that young fans who listen to her are listening and getting out to register to vote and to vote. I do not like that Taylor Swift has gotten the person of the year - this is coming from someone who loves a lot of her music. I would rather the palestinian journalists/children/people who have suffered under a genocide. I am gripped by their news everyday. I know it’s towards the end of the year but it is what I will be thinking about when I think about 2023. But that would sacrifice the colonial capitalist project.
