You can tell she’s really uncomfortable talking about her relationships and even stated at the beginning she didn’t want to talk about it, I think interviewers should have more respect and remember that celebrities are people too. I particularly didn’t like the way he kept trying to embarrass her about her breakups, I understand it’s British humour but it’s so sad to see that it was this kind of treatment that broke Taylor down

The way Taylor handled this was exemplary. Young woman in her early twenties put on the line time and time again. Amazingly talented, funny, beautiful, was super sweet, no wonder she is now one of the biggest stars on the planet.

To be fair, she wasn't giving him much material to work with. The conversation seemed rather one dimensional -- how funny can you get with stories like 'I went to fashion week', 'the dresses were pretty', 'I was surprised to see all the models there', 'I don't talk about that'....?

the interview went down the minute he said 'you're not that bad looking' and you can see her trying to control the shock and respond in a calm acceptable way to show nothing went wrong!

He is not rude, it’s just a British humor😅 but I can understand that JR can come across as a very straight forward person for people who don’t know his show. He is like that with every guest, did you hear what he said about Gary and Gary was just laughing and nodding, hut after all Gary is British too!

Now I live in Usa and I can tell the difference between British and American humor😅 I can’t joke around as I used to because people stare at me and think I am dead serious 😂

Taylor is beautiful, smart, articulate, and brilliant, and has a kind, humble, and a polite character. Unlike the assholes in the media industry: the toxic, brainless and gossip media People, who are so irrelevant; both the US and especially the toxic British media.
I love the fact that she still says thank you for saying that she used to say the exact same thing when she was a little girl she's so humble and polite it's unreal considering how famous she is she really does deserve all the good things that's coming her way so so proud to be a swiftie ❤️❤️

@Matej Jovanov I’m not religious and never have been but from what I’ve learnt isn’t religion quite fluid? You can believe in a God and follow certain ways of doing things etc but not have to follow all the old school ‘guidelines’. She may have had a few relationships but whose to say she slept with all these guys? She may have, she may not have but either way I don’t see what the big deal is. Again, I’m not religious but I thought a big part of Christianity at least was to accept people and be kind to people which I don’t know if you’re religious or even Christian but that’s the opposite of what you’re doing. Also why should somebody have to *earn* a name? So his parents liked the name Joseph which so happened to be a name in the bible. What if they’re not religious? Or what if they are? It doesn’t matter. At the end of the day just be kind to people that’s the most important and Miss Swift was the person who taught me that.
@Matej Jovanov I’m not going to argue with you about religion but all I can say is regardless of your beliefs I hope you find peace one day and find the kindness in your heart to just accept people and be kind to people, that’s really all that matters (to me at least, clearly not to you). You can think what you want about me, I might be an atheist (I’ve never looked very far into the term) and I am definitely a Swiftie, so sure, I do support a “puta” but to be honest I don’t give a shit that you’ve given her that title. She’s a lovely, kind human being who deserves love and support.

Oh god this interview is awful, perfect example of how NOT to interview someone. You can see how uncomfortable Taylor is with the questions and he just keeps digging a hole for himself.
It's called poking fun, and he didn't "dig a hole." BTW, she's a flawed human being just like you, not a god.

it's just PR stuff, so she's not directly talking about it in triviality and naming names in the press, but shooting evident indirects so ppl guess and get them buying her songs and albums, it's hypocritical honestly, you should enjoy taking with openly about the things that you sing about, it's supposed to be your passion, but that's how the celebrity world works sadly.
I think that it’s more like she wants to keep her personal life private and if you listen to her songs she obviously is talking about someone but other people can also listen to that song and think about a specific someone in their life. If she were to say who every song was about then it takes away the feeling of singing the song about your person since your only thinking about the person she wrote it about

She always leaves evident clues and indirects so ppl easily guess who's about without her having to name any names, so any sort of ambiguity is ruined anyway, it's her strategy to draw press and attention. don't think it's because she wants to maintain some sort of integrity lmao, her fans just as the press are more obsessed with her as a celebrity than anything else, and pretending otherwise is to self-deceive.
I never knew about this interview but now that I've seen it, I'm so disappointed in the talkshow host who keeps pressing about a topic she clearly didn't want to say more about it.

"Who are you seeing at the moment?" is a brutally intrusive question. Ross has made a career out of bullying/embarrassing guests. It's painful to watch.
Nobody agrees to go on a show unless they know what is going to be asked, for the main part.
