“You won’t see me cloned” - Jimmy page
To be living in the generations of Jimmy is a blessing within itself
Jimmy Page was the whole reason I started playing guitar in the first place.
Same here.
same
Yeah, same
Same here man. David Gilmour is the reason why I kept playing.
Same. Page, Angus Young, and Hendrix
3:39 “...I’ve got pretty good control of my hands.” -understatement of the century
So... When is Jimmy going to start narrating BBC nature and science documentaries?
After Morgan Freeman retires. :)
😁😁😁👌👌👌
He mentioned in a skiffle video he was interested in biology.
I remember Ringo Starr playing in Thomas The Tank Engine (voice and actor).
Love Jimmy's voice, I could listen to him tell stories like a grandpa
*cries in poor*
Dutch van der Linde you just need MUNEH
Have a little faith
They’ll have production models, like they do with Hendrix guitars, that are much more affordable
You in *tAHiti* ?
@@ieatyourbrain8478 growing mangoes on my farm, friend.
Jimmy's contribution to rock music is unmatched.
can be easily compared to any of the beatles
The Pale God but not all the Beatles together.... the Beatles as a group have a bigger contribution to rock than Led Zeppelin, or any group for that matter
@@TonySSohal i totally agree the beatles is the greatest band of all time no doubt, lez zepellin and black sabbath comes second imo
Dont forget Chuck Berry
@@najmihakimkhairi1210 Little Richard anyone?
Beautiful guitar. I loved seeing how much Jimmy loved and appreciated the process and final result. Well done!
It's great that Jimmy has finally got himself a proper job, as a guitar painter. Enough of all that silly guitar player stuff. His folks must be proud.
Yuck yuck --
Jimmy Page is still killing it! Almost 50 years later ,I mean how can you not love this man ♥️
There’s just something about jimmy page that makes me smile a lot.
No guitar will ever be as important as yourself. Without you. That guitar is nothing. We love you Jimmy!
You can feel the emotion in this video. The pride that they have for this creation is so immense
Jimmy is....i don't even know how to explain it...he's so passionate about what he does and his guitars and he's just, again, I don't even know how to explain it...me as an aspiring guitarist watching him is inspiring i guess you'd say but there's this other feeling that I just can't put my finger on quite yet..but it's there...Jimmy is amazing both musically and spiritually, i think that's how'd you say it, but he is a real legend.
Aaaaaa, I was desperately waiting for Jimmy to play that guitar!!! :C
David Condis y Troyano
Or at least the front and back of the completed product
that man hasn't done anything for free his entire life lmaooo.
You can see the amount of love and effort that are put in the building of those guitars ! Nice job Fender ! And nice job Jimmy, as you did the first one !
"You won't see me cloned" 😟
Think I'd almost buy the mirror over the dragon if I get the cash together. Regardless I'm happy Fender is working with Jimmy to bring this piece of history back to life and to the players.
Nah, get the dragon. Parts of it hand painted by JP. It's a guaranteed investment. Get it, play it lightly. Like an hour a week and never leave the house with it. And consider it your 401k that you'll sell and make a lot of money on when you are an old man.
I wish they'd make a Syd Barrett mirrored esquire while they're at it
Russian Bot when and how can you buy this beauty

I love this man. Adored and admired him for years. LZ has always been and will always be my favourite band. So wish I could meet him. Cheers Jimmy.
So humble and genuine. Much love and respect for JP.
*0:38** I'm assuming thats a nod to Syd Barrett*
Chris Farley , yea, they need to make a Barrett Telecaster.
I read something a long time ago that suggested the way Syd adorned his tele was the primary inspiration for JP to do the same.
Does it come with a cello bow tho?
pasted from guitarworld.com : "The “Dragon” custom shop model includes a custom hardshell flight case, white seatbelt-style strap, super-long white leather strap, red coiled cable, violin bow, rosin, Herco guitar picks and Page-signed Certificate of Authenticity."
Sweet!
Nibras h. It actually does lmao
Wow. Fender really knocked this one out of the park.
@Chuck Finley you know the key element mister, ⚡🎸🎶
Can you imagine going to Jimmy Page’s house? That must have been surreal! I’m so excited for this guitar. I’ve always loved the Dragon Tele! Great job Fender!
MJR Initiative I’ve walked up and down the street past it and that was thrilling in itself- cannot even imagine going IN it! I see what he’s hot and bothered about with his neighbors- the latest one is doing obnoxious work next to his studio.
I think Syd did the mirrored look first. Would love to see a Syd Esquire.
This is still one of the coolest moments in guitar making history.
When I listen to Jimmy Page playing his Tele in the first live performances with Led Zeppelin, I think, "That is the sound"... I don't have anything against Les Pauls, but the electricity sound through Page's guitar in 'How many more times' is simply awesome...
Thanks Jimmy for all the great music, good times and beautiful memories through the years.
It's great when your boss tells you that you did a great job, but its something else entirely when Jimmy Page seeks you out to thank you for all your hard work.
Nigel Oulton - It's the money that he's thanking you for. Without that he'd have his lawyer sue you for every penny you could possibly make off using his name, and then some for all the pain and suffering you have caused him by not negotiating his percentage of the profits first.
And remember that when a boss gives you praise that just means you're underpaid and don't realize it. Even God will tell you that praise doesn't amount to sh*t when you're being nailed to the cross.
Man, you musst be a pain in the ass.
Man do I love Jimmy Page. EVH and later Rhoads were my top guitar heroes (and still are to an extent). Page is Gandalf. The Mighty One. Some of the most iconic riffs in history, yet you could pick out a few on your guitar. His playing was accessible. He is the greatest IMHO. Love you Jimmy Page. Thank you for being a BIG part of my soundtrack. Your playing is lifeblood.
I could only dream of affording such an iconic guitar.
Mr Waller, aside from meeting the legend, to have Jimmy Page compliment your work, would you say that is and always will be the high light of your life? I'm glad that you have the ability and skill to be able to see the project through. Jimmy Page seemed very proud of your work. Great job!!
I saw him play that guitar at the Cheetah in Chicago with the Yardbirds. Fabulous show.
And you can remember it?you must be doing something right.
God Bless you Jimmy Page and Paul.....great work! You are the reason why I play guitar.
The GOAT 🐐🔥🐐
Isak Niasso that actually belongs to Jerry Miller of Moby Grape, Jimmy page and Clapton have both been influenced by Jerry Miller. That guy could take a lick anywhere.. check him out
@@michaellavender not even close to Page
get along opinions are like assholes everyone’s got one. Page and Clapton said it themselves..
Michael Lavender I think Jimmy Page said it’s Hendrix
For one of the fathers of hard rock guitar, what a gentle guy and not a swear word in sight! Bravo Jimmy!
James Page, the Gentleman Rocker.

Art Howard Music yeah man, he’s been around for a long long year...
Jimmy Page you rock! It is because of you and a few others that I have always wanted to play guitar. I am 58 now and I am finally doing it. I would be happy if I could just play 1/3 of how you play. My hats off to you sir. Thank you and your band mates(all band mates) for all the amazing music and inspirations over the years. I wish you love and health sir.
Wow, that old Japanese guy does a great British accent
😁
jimmy page has a chineese root in his maternal side. for this reason, he has slanted eyes.
Hakan Çevikel Thats a myth his skin has just been wrinkled as it naturally should
his real name is Ji Ming Pheng

I remember well. It was 46 years ago. I would sit in front of a console stereo that my mom had moved into my room. Guitar in hand I would listen and try to copy every song on Led Zeppelins 3rd and 4th albums along with the soundtrack from The Song Remains The Same. A few years later I acquired my first stratocaster and fell in love with Fender. Today I'm a 60 year guitarist/mandolinist. My main guitar that I love and cherish is my '85 Squire stratocaster. I've owned other Strats, but since '93 "Baby" has been my love. Very soon I plan to purchase my very first telecaster. I been putting off buying a tele for about 35 years. I love Jimmy Page and I love Fender. I actually have the Fender logo tattooed on my left arm between my wrist and elbow, LOL! Yeah, I'm an idiot.
Jimmy Page is one of the most amazing people on this planet. I've been reading a biography of his life and it's amazing, he is incredibly polite and intelligent
Wait...what will happen if i go to a guitar store to test one out and play Stairway to Heaven?
The prophecy will be fulfilled but you will also be sneered at
Ya need da dbl neck for that
No stairway? Denied!
Denied!
Well ok, aint buying it then....not because i cant afford it you know...
He seems to be such a humble gentleman who I would love to call my friend. What a grate human being with such a huge talent but you would never know by talking to him. Jimmy is the GOAT!!!😎✌☯️
Much love jimmy :,)
Dammm just dammm. Jimmy is a living legend and to be able to own a piece of history is amazing. 👍👍🎸🎸
I think it's a wonderful gift that he is leaving. Sure, it's a replica but I think if you're a Page fan then it holds a lot more meaning. He's done a great job of sustaining his legacy with this guitar.
So beautyy and cool🎸❤
This man will live forever.
A Jazzmaster signature for Kevin shields. He deserve it.
A jazzmaster for Tom Verlaine.
On behalf of all guitarists from the whole history of the planet, I wanna thank so much Jimmy as well as Fender for leaving this extraordinary and priceless gift to mankind!, hope I am able to get asap! :3
His presence gives it life.
Imagine a guitar who lost its owner . I have mixed feelings about this.
It is cool to see Jimmy so excited about the production of his guitar.
Legendary guitar for a legendary player
so glad jimmy held up so well over my lifetime.
Syd Barret also used a mirrored guitar
This is the most beautiful guitar/guitarist alliance in the last decades... I want that so bad...
Please Jimmy, no guitar is as important as you! You are the greatest guitar player ever!
I'd love to know how the guitars will sound. In an interview with Page in the 70's he was asked what guitar he used on the first LZ album to which he said it was the Telecaster. The interviewer said "it sounds like a Les Paul." Page said "that's because of the way it's wired." He didn't elaborate any further on it. Wonder how it was wired to give it such a different sound. According to Page the bridge pickup was ruined after his friend refinished the guitar. So I wonder how are they going to replicate the sound of a pickup that's ruined? Nothing to compare it to. Are those magnets on the back of the pickup plate at 1:14 - 1:17? What's up with that I wonder?
These guys are the human element. Craftsmen. Bravo Fender. Thank you.
Beautiful guitars. Works of art, really, as it’s hard to imagine anyone actually playing one of the limited-edition versions. I have one question though: Can someone point out where the dragon is on the ‘dragon’ guitar? It looks like a completely abstract design to me.
could never find it either!
superfuzzymomma Right? And I don’t see anyone jumping in to help us out here.🤷♂️
It is supposed to be abstract art meant to evoke a dragon from what I’ve read. But when your high on some good stuff, the dragon pops right out. Lol!
Definitely getting the dragon. What a iconic man, and guitar.
Maybe I could afford the mexican tele.. In a few months.. Maybe
Official Beatbay yeah, the classic vibes are allright... But I just really would like a dragon tele.. I play almost anything on my Maybach Les(paul)ter, and it feels like home to me btw..
@Chuck Finley Clearly Squires aren't as good, but for us middle class folk, getting a Squire and upgrading is about the only option.
@Chuck Finley These conversations are funny. Excellent guitar players can make a squire sound great. Crap players can make the best U.S. made whatever sound like crap.
@Chuck Finley I've read that the wood, and the construction of the body in a U.S. v. Squire is not really that different. What difference does wood really make in a solid body electric guitar anyway? I'm sorry, but minus ash v. alder the wood doesn't make that much of a difference and it's personal preference anyway. I'm more worried about the weight of the guitar. The pickups are generally crappy in a Squire, but you can easily replace those. The hardware is not great, but you can fix that. Spend $40-60 when you buy the thing, take it to a pro and have them set it up. That makes a huge difference. Sand the Squire logo off the headstock and replace it with a Fender one.
The first batch of Mexican Tele's were phones due to translation issues.
Great idea. I always loved that guitar.
This great man is the reason I picked up a guitar and started to play.
Very good
Such a nice guy and such nice guitars. I've looked up to Jimmy for years and its just so cool seeing all of this happen; you guys nailed it! Owning a Custom Shop Dragon Tele would be an absolute dream come true. Well done to all of you at Fender and thank you Jimmy for being an inspiration to me and to so many others.
Hands down most beautiful guitar the Hendrix Monterey strat
Jimmy genuinely loves what he does, he seems really happy 😊❤
What's really cool is that this story was given a full page article in my local newspaper...TWICE, once when it was announced they were doing this and once when it was finished.
For me there is only one mirrored tele... and it was Syd's.
I should be studying right now but okay, watching Jimmy Page go on about his dragon Telecaster is more important for me at this point.
Couldn't even imagine having a guitar hand painted by jimmy page. That would be unreal.
The Beethoven of guitar.. JP

The guitar is awesome, but this video was so wholesome and well made that I don’t even need the guitar to love it.
Jimmy no guitar is more important than the artist that makes some wire and wood awaken a dragon!
such an amazing character this Page guy!
I love this man and the passion his no limited love and passion for guitar and music. ❤️😍
Welcome to the legend Page
Jimmy Page is a genuine legend.
So hyped!!! Awesome to see how pleased Jimmy is with it.
The every beautifull telecaster in the world! Love 🎵💙💙💙💙🎵
Jimmy Is sublime! 🔥🎸🔥 Greetings from Italy! ❤
I've never seeing JP doing any "technical tricks" on stage...his playing is nothing but a PURE SERVICE to MUSIC...any guitar, any amp or pedal that he uses SERVES ONLY MUSIC and not his "Musician's Ego"....rare quality, that's why HE IS A GENIUS and not just another "Virtuoso". Love and Respect (and there's this new cat on the block => Adam Agati...also NO TRICKS, only Heart & Soul). God Bless All Real Ones
NEVER SEEN JIMMY IN GLASSES. NOW I KNOW WHY I AM IN LOVE❤
Teles 4 life! 🙂
Gonna save up my life savings and buy this baby. Thank you Fender for bringing us this legendary guitar
Love Jimmy!but damn 25,000.guess I'll get a squire tele and do a dragon myself! Lol
Actually it's just 1369€
As a life long Led Zeppelin fan, I deeply enjoyed this. Very well done!
Awesome
Love these legendary guitars
When he said we won't be able to clone him i teared up 😭😭😭
Not Jimmy Page saying he has PRETTY good control in his hands. He's so Humble for who he established to be in the Guitar community
Cool I think I’ll buy one and put a Floyd rose in it
Passion inspires passion.
God this is a bittersweet vid. The term "guitar legend" doesn't even begin to describe this man's work.
Amazing story of the famous Dragón guitar, one of the symbols of the rock.🎸Wonderful tribute from Fender .👏👏👏💯💯
Just like to say to Jimmy Page. Thanx for the compelling force of inspiration. You sir are remarkable.
The only 30,000 guitar I'll ever buy
That guy from Fender has a seriously great job.
