Hola, thanks for your video. I did exactly as you said but when I try to put my Logo on my website it looks bad still. So, I tried putting 5000*1000 px and is a bit better but still not good enough. Any recommendation? please!
It's hard to say without seeing your logo. Could be because of some elements you used in it that are not high res enough.

Hi, you say we need to start the template at a high resolution, 5000 x 5000 before we create the logo. But, what if we have already created the logo using one of Canva’s templates which are not high resolution. Is there a way to increase the resolution so it doesn’t look blurry or do we need to start from scratch with a larger template.
You can open 2 tabs with Canva, open the template in one and the blank 5000x5000px doc in the other. Then simply copy/paste all the elements and resize them to fit your bigger canvas.

Can I request another video for FB Banner/Cover Photo? Maybe you can include a smart Profile + Banner / Cover Photo combo too.
I used the "optimized" resolution size which is the 820x312 size, but uploaded it a couple of times to move the text out of the way of the profile picture in MOBILE. It doesn't block it now, BUT the cover photo doesn't look as sharp as I want it too. HELP!

Canva has documents for almost all social media graphics. I'd recommend you find the linkedin banner.

The reason I recommend 5000px is to have the highest possible resolution on Canva. So that the logo is crisper.
Social media platforms will compress it anyway when used on there.

I'm sorry I'm not 100% sure, it depends on the type of elements you used from the Canva library. You should refer to Canva's licesing agreements here: about.canva.com/license-agreements/

Hi.. I love to use canva for making designs but my designs are not as small as logo. Could you recommend how to create PNG file with 300 dpi, please? I download files as pdf print and use online converter to convert the resolution. But the online converter often error due to traffic and can't convert big size file. Thanks

yes, you are kind of stuck with the maximum resolution you can work with in Canva. I don't really have a solution for you. I think what you are doing is the right work around. Maybe try another converter than the one you are using if you get regular error messages?

to properly add your logo to your Canva designs, you should import it in a PNG format without a background.

I don't think this is an option with Canva as of now (300 DPI). The highest quality you can get is by choosing PDF print option when you download.

Yes, you could download as SVG, but you'll need the Pro version for that!

if 5000x5000 still gives you a blurry outcome, something must be wrong, indeed.
It's hard for me to say, but my guess would be: the visuals you are using are not high resolution enough?
Or it might be that your image gets compressed at some point, maybe while uploading?

Yes, absolutely, just make sure to keep the same aspect ratio. Meaning multiply the width and height by 2 or 3 but keep the same ratio. The social media platforms will compress the file but the image will show entirely.

actually, it seems to work the same way as a paid member. it's definitely sharper. I guess I just have to experiment a bit :3
Yes, the best way to resize it would be to use Magic Resize if the logo was created in Canva. Or to do it again from scratch using higher resolution document (5000 x 5000)

The highest resolution you can use on Canva is 5000x5000px in the 1:1 aspect ratio.
How do I do it with thumbnails tho, cause RUclips only allows 2mb photos

You have to find the balance between size and quality for your YT thumbnails.

Hi Ronny: what if my logo has to be maximum 120 x 120 px and maximum 100kb. these are the restrictions that come from the site itself.
Today I uploaded it there and it did not have a good resolution when i downloaded it and thus even not when i dowonladed it. :-/

Hey there, 120 x 120px is really small and you'll not get a high resolution logo in these dimensions. See if you can export in bigger dimensions but keep the 1:1 aspect ratio. Most of the times these website rescale/compress the images for you.

Do you have any idea how to create high res photos for using in shopify? The highest res is 20 mp in shopify . Does these high images impact the loading speed of the website?
The heavier the image, the longer they will need to fully load imo. Unless Shopify has come up with some sort of compression wizardry 🪄

You can't export as a vector at this stage.

You can always double or triple the size of your document. This works for both Pro and Free users.
