Hello, I have a problem. Once I import my canva image (the one with my logo, name and email address), it appears completely pixelated on gmail. Do you know why ? I enlarged the text well and even tried to import a ready-made template just to test. The problem remains the same. Thanks in advance
I’ve seen several people commenting the same thing on this video, but was unable to recreate that problem on my end 🤔 I always recommend to try a larger size document.
Try PNG, most of the time the fact that the visuals come out blurry has to do with the size of the document. Here is a video where we address this problem: ruclips.net/video/ulAWJeIlEy8/видео.html

Hey there, Sorry you run into that. Make sure the icons are small enough? Maybe that’s what’s causing the misalignment? Hard for me to say without “looking over your shoulder” 🤔

Thank you for this amazing valuable tutorial which I was able to recreate for my businesses with a Gmail account. However, what happens when you have a Business Gmail, ie with your domain name? It is not allowing me to import the image. It requires only a URL and the Canva URL does not work. Help or suggestions! please 🙏
Thank you for this tutorial! I am having an issue with the quality when I resize it to a smaller height? I am doing 200px x 75px. When I go to import it into gmail it is extremely poor quality and not readable? I am saving it at PNG Thanks
My first photo with my headshot is blurry. I've tried making it bigger but when I download it, it's still blurry. I've also tried saving it as a JPG and other formats and nothings working. :(
This is a great tutorial. I created one in canva, however, when I downloaded it as a PNG the download looks blurry. How do I fix this? It keeps happening. My email signature is 600 x 200 px
I've created a new email signature that I love and it looks great- links work great- but look awful on my iphone! the main image is in a white box and the social media icons float below against a black background- they do have transparent backgrounds, but why is my email on a black background on my phone? Does anyone know how to fix this?
I've tried this and other videos and though in the settings it shows my image has the website link successfully "linked" when I test it by sending my self an email, the link doesn't work. I click the signature image and all it does is hyperlink to a larger version of the image, doesn't go to the website linked to the image. Not sure what I'm doing wrong
Love the video! I design email signatures for clients often. They are not tech savvy. Is there a way I can export the gmail signature with clickable links so they can upload and its ready to go or do I need to get into their gmail account and "build" the signature there?
Other option, not to hijack, is to take your Canva made elements and add them into a TABLE in Google docs :) Because the way as shown in this video will not retain the exact positions.
Hi, I loved your tutorial, just one question how do I set the signature on my smartphone? I did try to find some way, but it seems that I can use it only on my mac. Again thx for amazing tutorial hope you will find time to answer me :) have an awesome day
Same here, it looks like the signature isn’t available when sending an email from your phone, but if you have properly set it up in a computer, it should be at the end of every email. Even those sent via your phone.
need help, outlook only allows png/jpegs to be added to their signature. In order for the hyperlinks to work it has to be downloaded as a pdf. anyone have a work around other than pasting the pdf into every email?
hey! thanks so much for this video! helped me to create an email signature for my client! the only thing is when I upload it to gmail it becomes blurry. do you know why and how to fix it?
I saw several people commenting about the same problem: their image getting blurry. The only answer I could come up with, since I cannot reproduce the issue, is to create a higher resolution document by multiplying the dimensions. I hope this solves the problem for you 🙏
It’s too bad we can’t export ‘the code’ for these and insert in the backend of Gmail or even in the backend of a WordPress page etc and all the visuals, icons, links etc would be replicated
I've heard several people complaining of the same issue. I always recommend creating a bigger document. Try multiplying the dimensions by 2 or 3. I hope this does the trick 😊
Hi Ronny, thanks so much for such a helpful tutorial. I am having trouble with the image/icons appearing blurry when I add them to the signature in gmail. I have used the same px as suggested in the tutorial and downloaded as PNG from Canva. Wondering if you know why this may be and if you have any suggestions? Thanks a lot!
@@iuliacondrea4754 unfortunately trying different pixel sizes didn’t work. I had to also follow another RUclips tutorial that resized a 500x500 in a draft email then copy and pasted it back into the signature section in settings.
I don't care who and what they write in the comment section here, as for me, I really like it when someone explains something in a decent, detailed way. It's very annoying when a content that is important and interesting to me is cut to a minimum, just to make it 3 minutes long... because in this fast-paced world, that's all anyone needs... Then anyone who is really seriously interested watches everything 10 times and stops the video 20 times... Very well done, thanks for this comprehensive content! For those who find it long, they should suffer watching other videos and rewinding everything 20 times, and "if" they manage to solve it, they won't learn anything, because they won't be able to do it once again by themselves! Thank you very much, it was extremely instructive, I didn't have to rewind X times, just paused it here and there and everything was done in one go. By the way, all your videos are brilliant! 👍 Edit: If someone is using his/her devices in "dark mode" (many many people do so), then I think it is worthwhile to choose the "color scheme" so that the black letters are not pure black, but may greyish, for example, so that everything is visible in "dark mode" as well. Also, in this case it might be worth checking the "transparent" option when downloading, so that the email signature is not blindingly white... I'm still testing, it's a theoretical question for now, because many email clients adapt the colours, i.e. invert them... but I'll try it and see! Thanks again for the detailed great tutorial!
Hello dear, and thanks for the detailed feedback you provided I agree with you, our videos go deeper, and it sure isn't for everyone, but that's the choice we've made. Also, great point for those using Dark mode.
Thank you, but with your text in black color how is going to switch to a white or another color if the person who received your email is using dark mode?
Thank you so much Vaibhav, yes it's important to mention your sources. So many creators just take or copy other people's content. We don't want to do that.
Hey there Michelle, It's a combination of having a green screen in the studio, the proper lighting to make sure your green screen is properly lit and an effect called ultra key that we use in our editing software (Premiere Pro) to get rid of the background. So far there’s no one-button-solution to achieve this result, it’s a bit of work but with some practice you’ll for sure get it right!
@@TeamRonDi Thank you for responding and for the support. Great work. I got my signature setup but we ended up tieing it to linktree. I will let you know how it goes.
Thank you, Ronny! I have a problem with Canva: The image downloaded (same size as in your video), is quite pixelated and doesn't appear as high quality as in your video here, so it's useless. Larger pictures are still pixelated while occupying more space, which is not the idea neither. What might be the problem? I use canva pro on a mac pro.
Hello. I am having so much trouble doing a gmail signature and I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong. Several free sites let me make one but when I tried to copy and paste into gmail it said it was too long and to make shorter. So I followed your video and did the same exact sizing and attempting to save changes it again says its too long. I even removed the social media links and used only the 400 x 125 pic from Canva and it still says it’s too long and to make it shorter. Any idea how to fix this?
This is great. But.... Every time I download my email signature and upload into Gmail, it's blurry. If I make the pixels higher, then it shows great in the email, but it's too big. I feel like I've tried everything and can't get it right.
@@TeamRonDi I came to that conclusion since you took the first 15 minutes making a design, that wasn't clickable, then went and created each image to what amounts to manually, then created the design piece by piece in Gmail (not Canva) and created the clickable inks in Gmail (not Canva), and manually adjusted and created the design in gmail (not Canva). I do NOT consider that Creating an email signature in canva. You created the email signature in gmail and used elements from canva to do so. For me its not the same thing. resizing images can be done in any photo editor program, CANVA did NOTHING in the creation of the signature. You just used some icons from it.
Super Useful, thank you. Although in Gmail for me it won't let me highlight the image and add a hyper link, it only lets me add with text and then its highlighted in blue and underlined which kinda spoils the look! Any advice ?
Hey there, I have personally experienced this problem: my emails are often seen as spam from other people ... but that has to do with my website hosting (which also provides the email accounts). I doubt it has to do with the email signature.
Hi Andrea, thanks for bringing that up to my attention. Do you have more info on this? Any resource that could teach me more about the use of images resulting in emails getting caught in the spam folder? I'd love to read it, because nobody wants their emails to end up in the spam...
@@TeamRonDi I know images can cause problems in general, especially for the first e-mail sent from the sender. Perhaps it is a bigger problem for html signatures, I've experienced it 😁
I was acutally looking for this comment. I got so frustrated at work with designing suitable Signatures with pictures, that I just gave up on it. Even if it shows in the internal accounts, doesn't mean, that a) the pictures are shown to the reciever or b) the email is safe for NOT landing in the SPAM folder. I researched that issue for quite a while now and found out, that it is not only YOUR own settings, it also depends on your reciever accounts settings including pictures or possible fire walls to let those mails with plenty pictures through. We really tried A LOT with that and not even our IT helpcenter could point out a solution. So... as nice as it looks - which it does - and I absolutely love canva - we gave up on Signature with Pictures in it (not even the Logo is one.. we just write the name...) ;) Its sad... and maybe (in our case) its microsoft fault - who knows... anyway - I really wish, that he doesn't have SPAM or recieving problems ... and for you: did you by any chance find a solution? :)
Hey Ronny!! This tutorial is amazing but I am facing an issue, whenever I insert the image as a Gmail signature the image gets blurred. The image has at least 3 logos in it. I would appreciate it if you could help me with this.
thank you for all the amazing tips! i got the links to work, but still faced 1 issue. When downloading png i am getting very low quality pictures. even with more than 500x500px. My signature works but it's all blurry :( can you help me please!?
Several people have told me the same. The image quality was good on my side, apart from bumping the dimensions of the project, I don’t really have another solution 🤔
@@TeamRonDi thank you for getting back! hmm.. its a shame! after spending hours on watching the video and applying the tips to create the design, it's not possible to use it :( sad sad..
I made a screenshot directly from canva and it worked well for the general card but less quality for the social media icons, they are still blurry , at least the image is ok
Just a subjective opinion, would love to hear feedback: I would not put a tap graphic on the website, instead making the text and yellow line ( background) look like a button. A bit rounded corners maybe, putting the text smaller. Thanks @ronnyhermosa
I love this tutorial🤩! Thank you! (tip) I had some trouble uploading the image into Gmail because I kept getting the blue square with the question mark. Then I tried to copy the image and then paste it into the signature and this helped.
Really great tutorial this and I now have a great signature, thank you very much for this. One thing I would say is thou is that the vid could just show how to do it the right way the 1st time that would be good. It would save me making it twice 😬

Try to add the links from your email platform instead of Canva 😊
hey! thanks so much for this video! helped me to create an email signature for my client! the only thing is when I upload it to gmail it becomes blurry. do you know why and how to fix it?
I saw several people commenting about the same problem: their image getting blurry.
The only answer I could come up with, since I cannot reproduce the issue, is to create a higher resolution document by multiplying the dimensions.
I hope this solves the problem for you 🙏
4:03 other photos from the media show how much fun you people have during photo shoot !! 😆😆
Haha, yes! Photo shoots are usually fun 🥰
It’s too bad we can’t export ‘the code’ for these and insert in the backend of Gmail or even in the backend of a WordPress page etc and all the visuals, icons, links etc would be replicated
Agree, that'd be a good option to add.
I've tried the "Embed" feature in Canva (under the "Share" button), but it doesn't really help me achieve that.
I've followed all the steps, and I'm using Canva Pro but the signature image appears a bit blurry when I look at it in my phone. Any idea why?
I've heard several people complaining of the same issue.
I always recommend creating a bigger document. Try multiplying the dimensions by 2 or 3.
I hope this does the trick 😊
Hi Ronny, thanks so much for such a helpful tutorial. I am having trouble with the image/icons appearing blurry when I add them to the signature in gmail. I have used the same px as suggested in the tutorial and downloaded as PNG from Canva. Wondering if you know why this may be and if you have any suggestions? Thanks a lot!
I’m not sure 🤔
Maybe try to double or triple the size of the document. Hoping that Gmail will shrink it down in the email signature.
I have the exact same problem. Have you figured out how to fix it?
@@iuliacondrea4754 unfortunately trying different pixel sizes didn’t work. I had to also follow another RUclips tutorial that resized a 500x500 in a draft email then copy and pasted it back into the signature section in settings.
Hi Ronny, cool pictures... is there a video from you where you explain how you cut out of a photo? Is that possible with canva?
Yes, it’s possible with the BG Remover which is a Canva Pro feature.
Here’s a video: ruclips.net/video/uLJ1qvNu3tI/видео.htmlsi=qmAiwnmQ1qYSIY_4
Edit: If someone is using his/her devices in "dark mode" (many many people do so), then I think it is worthwhile to choose the "color scheme" so that the black letters are not pure black, but may greyish, for example, so that everything is visible in "dark mode" as well.
Hello dear,
and thanks for the detailed feedback you provided
I agree with you, our videos go deeper, and it sure isn't for everyone, but that's the choice we've made.
Also, great point for those using Dark mode.
Thank you, but with your text in black color how is going to switch to a white or another color if the person who received your email is using dark mode?
That’s a really good question. You could export the photo of you with your name on a white BG, instead of a PNG with transparent background.
When I upload any images, it shows a question mark in the box.
I've seen other users telling me the same thing. Try copying and pasting your images from Canva to Gmail. This worked for them.
Hi there! I love this video but for some reason my signature is showing a bit blurry. What should I do?
The only thing I could think of is to create it in a larger dimension.
Please help! I am trying to add a canva made signature to outlook WITH a clickable link..
Hi Kari,
I've never used Outlook unfortunately so I can't really help you 🥹
hi loved this tutorial but whenever I try, my canva download looks blurry once it is added to gmail, anyone got any idea why?
Make sure you use high enough resolution photos and graphics.
Download as a PNG, let us know if that helps 😊
How can ı share my all folder? I have 100 different templates in a folder Do ı have to share by one by?
You can share access to a folder to people who are in your team.
Otherwise, yes: one by one.
Yeah this is for GMail, but how do you add it in say Outlook etc?
Yes, this is for Gmail only 😉
I'm not just about Outlook I never use it. So I don't see myself creating a tutorial about it.
Thank you. When I send an email from the Gmail mobile app, my signature is not visible. Any solution?
Make sure you click on the 3 little dots at the bottom of your email to extend the footer.
What about Outlook. It would be useful to have multiple clickable hyperlinks.
Hey Chris,
many people asked me about Outlook, but unfortunately I'm really not fluent in that platform. I've only used it a few times.
I tried this (great tutorial!), but it says my email signature is too long & won't save. :( What do I do?
Not sure Liza, I’ve never had this problem before 🤔
Too long?!
Try making it shorter.
Very helpful but the designs look very blurry when i download them and can't use them on the email
Make sure you use large enough photos and graphics.
Amazing video. I also love your honesty when you said that you've also watched a tutorial of someone. That also shows how much passionate you are ♥️♥️
Thank you so much Vaibhav, yes it's important to mention your sources.
So many creators just take or copy other people's content. We don't want to do that.
@@TeamRonDi ♥️♥️♥️
Hi There,
I am getting this error
The signature is too long. Please try a shorter signature.
what should i do
Is this from Gmail?
I’ve never seen that error before, sorry
So I saved my new e-signature in Canva downloaded it as a PDF and cannot open it in gmail. Any advice?
Download it in PNG or JPEG.
How did you get yourself on top of this video and not in a window?
Hey there Michelle,
It's a combination of having a green screen in the studio, the proper lighting to make sure your green screen is properly lit and an effect called ultra key that we use in our editing software (Premiere Pro) to get rid of the background.
Hi Ronny, thank you for your wonderful content. Can you tell me does this work for outlook ?
Hi,
TBH I never use Outlook, so I couldn't say ...
hallo! question! does it work only for gmail or can i use it for other platforms, too..?
I've only tried it on Gmail, I'm not sure if it will work on other platforms 🤔
Let us know if you find out!
How do you import these signatures from Canva into Mac Mail please?
Not sure how to use that I’m Mac Mail 😅
How do you use this same signature when you email or reply off mobile?
Mine works both on mobile and desktop. Once you set it up in Gmail.
Hi great video as always. Can this work with outlook. Namaste
Hi, thanks 🙏
I'm not sure as I never use Outlook ... 🥺
This is great. But.... Every time I download my email signature and upload into Gmail, it's blurry. If I make the pixels higher, then it shows great in the email, but it's too big. I feel like I've tried everything and can't get it right.
Mmmmm 🤔
Are you using a specific photo which is of low resolution?
I haven’t heard of this problem before.
@@TeamRonDi No, it's the words that come out blurry. It's so weird. I'm still trying to work on it.
Loving your channel!! 🔥🙏 Am I missing something?! When I upload PNG files to my signature they are blurry...lacking great clarity. Any advice??
This could have to see with the images you use. Or the small dimensions of the Canva document.
Mine are all blurry too. Canva says its bc the size is too small? I followed the size you said in the video though
Does anyone else's image from Canva look blurry once downloaded?
I’ve read that some people experience the same problem. Usually creating a design with bigger dimensions fixes the problem.
So it took you 35 minutes to basically say that YOU CANNOT use Canva to create a clickable link signature????
I’m not sure what led you to this conclusion 🤔
I clearly show in the tutorial how to get there.
That's weird.
It worked fine for me (adding a link to an image).
Could you check again 🤔
@@TeamRonDi Now its working, then not, a glitch! but thanks for coming back to me, appreciated :)
Great video! I'm curious to know if anyone has an issue sending emails? They seem to register as high probability of spam. Is there a way to fix this?
Hey there,
I have personally experienced this problem: my emails are often seen as spam from other people ... but that has to do with my website hosting (which also provides the email accounts). I doubt it has to do with the email signature.
Thank you so much for your quick response. Really appreciate it! PS: Thanks to your guide, I'm loving my email signature! :) @@TeamRonDi
How can you make a newsletter html/embed with clickable links?
I don’t think this can be done with Canva
Can you add a hyperlink to your Gmail in your Canva website that opens Gmail so people can e-mail you without a password?
No, I don't think you can do that.
I mean, you could create a link to a specific email address but not open someone's Gmail without their password 🤔
@@TeamRonDi Thank you 😊
Sending e-mails with too many images (like icon buttons in the signature) could make you end up in SPAM folder...
Hi Andrea,
thanks for bringing that up to my attention.
I have a question about image sizes how can I get an answer for this
Hi Sandra 👋
Feel free to ask your question, we'll do our best to answer it 😉
When i upload it to Outlook the photos Signature gets blury. How to fix it easy way?
Hey Max,
oftentimes the reason it's blurry is the dimensions are too small. So you could try doubling or tripling the dimensions.
@@TeamRonDi thanks alot! Another problem is that the clickable links dont work and i dont really know what iam doing wrong. Some clue?
How do you export it to your email
can we also do this for outlook email? please teach us how.
I’m confident you can do it with Outlook too. Unfortunately I don’t know much about Outlook as I never use it 🥹
Just a subjective opinion, would love to hear feedback:
I would not put a tap graphic on the website, instead making the text and yellow line ( background) look like a button. A bit rounded corners maybe, putting the text smaller.
Thanks @ronnyhermosa
Thanks for sharing your thoughts Vladimir 🙏
Yes, you are great, better with a shirt instead of a giant tshirt
😂 Thanks for the fashion advice Nancy 💜
I love this tutorial🤩! Thank you!
(tip) I had some trouble uploading the image into Gmail because I kept getting the blue square with the question mark. Then I tried to copy the image and then paste it into the signature and this helped.
Ohhh OK, interesting.
Thanks for sharing how you troubleshot that problem here with the community 💛
Really great tutorial this and I now have a great signature, thank you very much for this. One thing I would say is thou is that the vid could just show how to do it the right way the 1st time that would be good. It would save me making it twice 😬
Noted!
