  • One of the projects I did a while ago. Simple camera tracking with some rotoscoping. Tricking part was to add trees between 3D building and existing building on the footage. Somehow a try to make boring 3D archviz work a bit more fun.

    So cool. So the final layer helps blend the scene. I was having so much trouble matching the HDRI to the actual scene. very clever thanks. sub'd

    Dude, I just love what the color grade did. It’s so amazing to think it looked so bad before the lens flare and warmer tones.

    It's fantastic work man. I'm doing a similar thing for the company I work for but in Blender. Masking keeps me awake at night. Great colour grading. That lighting was probably a challenge too. Foreground objects suck!! lol.

      and that lens flare is very well executed. Jealous of your skills.

      Thanks a lot Adam. I think Blender3d could handle that too, but I'm too boomer to change my workflow now. A lot depends on the footage quality and context objects, so its mix between quality footage, tracking quality and final matching perspective with tracking data.

    This is amazing!! do you know if it's possible to use the DJI drone flight record file (there are some ways to export that encrypted TXT file) to have the exact camera movement at PFtrack or 3d Max?

      @3dbatcat  Год назад +1

      Have no idea if this data could be used inside PFtrack or 3ds max. Would be great if yes.

    Awesome! How did you match the lighting? Did you use a similar lighting condition with an HDRI?

    Is possible to do something like this in Lumion?

    • @3dbatcat
      @3dbatcat  8 месяцев назад

      You can export 3ds max scene in Lumion 3d. But firstly need to do the tracking and adjust camera orientation. Check my tutorial on the tracking, you can do all the steps but in the end just export your scene to lumion 3d.

      Hey, thanks, I didnt find any tutorial explaining the whole process from A to B. There are plently if you will search for 3D carmera tracking + 3ds max etc. Anyway I will try to make a tutorial explaining all the steps if you are interested.

    • @3dbatcat

      @@newstudiofilms Yes in this scene I've used PFtrack and 3ds max. The tricky part is to match the real scale of the 3d buildings with the tracking data.
