Your new modules are looking good and appear to run great! I wonder how many of us would appreciate a sound-only locomotive with a full body speaker so that more of the mid and lower frequencies could be heard. It would be consisted with the regular loco for operations. Modern sound decoders produce awesome effects which are unfortunately limited to what a tiny speaker can produce. Manufacturers would be able to use the same body and paint as their powered models and might generate additional sales. There's just something about the throbbing of a diesel as it passes by.

csx is my person favorite modern railroad, so I’m very happy and excited to see you bringing them to the layout=)
Nice I just recently bought the Broadway Limited Paragon 4 Chessie system EMD GP35 with the CSX Patch in Ho Scale that’s Going to run with my Paragon 4 CSX EMD SD40-2. I also recently picked up a Broadway limited Paragon 4 Chessie System Steam Locomotive for my N Scale layout.
I saw CSX's Western Maryland heritage locomotive hauling freight out of Hagerstown Yard two weeks ago. I think CSX crews may run the heritage locos through the washers more often than their other engines.

I just realized that I don't own a single CSX locomotive in my fleet, even though I have a 2 track CSX mainline 200 feet behind my house 😂 I model the 60s,70s,80s but this makes me want to pick one up sharp looking engines. Great Video Best Wish's!
CSX did an excellent job with their heritage units. Many will hate this POV, but I think that from the front the engine SHOULD look ordinary. I believe it was their Western Maryland unit that got me back into railroading from a 100% casual "old habits die hard" excuse to "my' boxcar is missing and those heritage engines look nice and steam engines are fun to watch, specifically in the vicinity of the drivers"...BTW those familiar with the Fort Wayne Historical society knows about said boxcar...it's there first steel sided boxcar, it use to be a few blocks away from me.
As for favorite heritage units I specifically like their B&O unit (the one you got), their WM unit, and to a lesser extend their NKP unit. Which is rare for me 'cuz with other railroads I like NS 8022(the PRR unit), UP 1943, and BNSF doesn't have any yet...note I left out the CPKC, and CN, not to familiar with 'em yet to allow myself to have a favorite heritage unit, I first gotta like their standard liveries.

Been model roadimg for 40+ years. the lococ get more amazing all the time. I know ya get what ya pay for but I just wish the hobby was affordable. Its all out of reach on limited income. And i do buy used repurpose old and cheap pieces, build "old style" with cardboard and strip wood. economize as i can. i save up but by the time i have enuf, these amazing pieces are gone. Simply, just being pushed out of the hobby, and im not alone.
