I wish Chris talked more, I really do love his stories and find him so cute and endearing.
Barbara is my favorite person on RUclips
Drake 22 barbara is the best girl person on RUclips
Pray Station Barbara is my favourite
did u know she plays yang in RWBY
I'd love to pay the monthly fee on RT but the one thing that stops me from doing it, is the fact that I can't watch a single video for more than 11 seconds without it buffering forever and never finishing.
Basically
When was the last time you used the website? I thought the same exact thing until they completely changed it a while ago. They hired a guy to implement it, he even went on reddit twice to ask for feedback and features.
well the videos were working fine during the release of RWBY Chibi eps 1-3 but after that, all the videos stopped loading fully...and I even tried to lower the image quality but that doesn't even help.
hector bazan Bummer, before I couldn't watch any video without it buffering every 15 seconds but now with the new player everything works perfectly.
It could be my laptop's software....im probably gonna have to do a factory reset and see if that works.
I think Nick's girl is Miles' crazy Belle LOL.
That would be the best coincidence
I think Chris is my favourite person at Rooster Teeth
he's such a cutie
ENSeventea agreed same here.
He's very relatable to the more common audience then goes and surprises us with something crazy.
When he has to share a sex story, it's absolutely gold. He clams up and it is hilarious.
yea he's so innocent and awkward and adorable like you know he could never hurt anyone
Last time i was this early the McChicken only had one meat in it.
Wait, is it even made of meat?
Red Hood BANG DI IS UNSURE
only one way to find out!
8:00 Barbara has a really nice voice.
yeah, she does.
Gotta say, this podcast has a unique feel. Looking forward to it!
can't agree more with the college conversation. Im in the middle of switching majors right now and people are putting more stress on me about it than is needed. There is definitely nothing wrong with changing your mind
YES, it's content like this and heroes and halfwits that make me glad to be in the rt fanbase :)
also, based on on the spot, jessie is really funny, so i'm excited
so chris' wet dreams are like Geoff's not getting any in his either.
I love the unique feeling of this podcast. Just started watching Internet Box a I'm split between the two.
I'm glad I saved watching this for the morning, it has a nice chill good-morning vibe.
It's a bit over midnight.
I love this show.
I have to get up early this morning.
Decisions, decisions, decisions...
EDIT: I watched it.
I really love this podcast, it has such a cute and unique feel. it's more of a talk show like the view instead of a regular podcast
From what I've heard and read, taking a gap year usually does more good than bad as long as you were positive that you wanted to go to college anyway.
ImDemonAlchemist Currently planning on going to the military to pay for my college but yes I agree it helps you not change your major 3 times.
Depending on what degree you want try picking a job that relates to that degree so it'll help get you a job that requires that degree out of the military and it might get you college credits from the training you do. Source: My job(25S) could be converted into enough credits to get me an AA in Satellite Communications if I did general ed classes.
I took a year off in the middle and it finally allowed me to sit back and figure out what the hell I wanted to do with my life.
Judging from the like to dislike ratio, seems the teething problems are over now. Yay!
I mean, I never had any issues anyway but...
.
First comment. Enjoying the show so far. Who's with me?
yeet
yep
*raises hand*
Yes sir!
i dont like the format of this show but they keep luring me in with people i like! damn crafty bastards XD
i was so happy when i saw that nick was on this episode loved it just wanted it to last another 12 years lol
I'm alittle zonked. Why does Chris have ripped-midget arms.
Mr Grape Butter Cannot UNSEE
Mr Grape Butter s
Mr Grape Butter I DO?! Why am I just learning about this?!
Chris Demarais Hey, at least they're RIPPED?
In the RT podcast from earlier this week, he mentioned that he's been going to the gym with Blaine.
I love the 911 license plate, a bit of dark humor.
It's 911 not 9/11.
I'm pretty sure it's just "911" just something for aesthetic purposes
I don't think a professional company would put a joke like that in
yes the 9/11 license plate is some nice dark humor
911 is the police phone number also a porsche model. 9.11 or 9/11 was a tragedy.
CRACKA JACK yes indeed 9-11 police phone number was a tragedy, Kappa
hate me
I just cannot find any flaws with Always Open. It is a masterpiece!
I hate those dreams where you fall in love, then you wake up heart broken T_T
fatmike4713 I had one of those today ;-;
I loved their stories about their first crushes ^^ so cute, mine was Ozzy Osbourne...that counts right XD
Chris is fantastic, Barbara is fantastic, this podcast is fantastic. Awesome.
yeah it is.
Bring Jon back please, he fits in with this podcast perfectly.
They're so right, though, at the end. I took a year off when I graduated high school to travel around New Zealand, and now I'm in community college, about to finish my associates and then go straight into something else because I realized what it was that I really wanted to do! 100% go and talk to your academic advisors at your school, they'll set you up with the best teachers with the schedule that works best for you. College is so much better than high school, this coming from a nerdy anime geek with no friends. Hang in there!
I don't usually remember my dreams. Even worse, the few times I do remember dreams, it's usually because I just switched jobs and the dream is just doing my job.
McDonalds - standing at the counter stocking while the fryer constantly beeps
Columbia Sportswear - continuously folding clothes
Target - Moving everything forward to the front of the shelf.
And that's the entire dream. You know how you have dreams and it feels like time moves so fast? Not here, it's 8 hours and I freakin feel it.
I had an interesting dream last night. It started with roller coasters and a "race against the clock" or something like that. All I really know is that is ended with Sonic and Tails (who was in his bi-plane) running/flyin through a sandstorm.
It was weird.
Always click for Barb.
Always.
I can agree with that.
I look forward to each new episode! It feels like being able to hang with friends at a bar while doing chores around the house.
yo college was mad cool at first, but now i suffer from panic disorder, depression and i cant sleep lmao
Pat Reilly Go to your school's counseling/psychological services center, their job is to help with that.
Jessy must have a word of the day calendar, squeezing words like imbibing and aromatic into everyday conversation.
Am i the only one that cant stop looking at the 911 on the licence plate behind nick
It's part of a longer plate
Maswartz226 i know but it still looks off putting when its in the camera view of all 4 of em
I don't think I've ever heard Barbara sing before, she has a lovely voice!
Nick: It sucks Starting right after college, there should be like a college 2
Jessy: You mean Grad School
These people are great
Damarais! Yaaaassssss
awww....he didnt even really talk.🙁
sariah moody The unfortunate thing is that it usually plays out that way with Chris. I love seeing him, but he rarely talks. But I got to give him some credit because he was hilarious every time he spoke.
Yeah! He has ALL the hilarity every time he speaks.
I live for this show. It's always uploaded at dinner time on Friday night for me which is fantastic
That guy in the blue shirt is so good at having a poker face when he makes a joke, he should be an actor or something
I couldnt get through the previous AlwaysOpen podcasts, but I really liked this one! Will continue to watch!
Yeah deffinitly liking the 40 - 50 minute episodes more then the one from last week :D Great episode once again!
Another lovely Always Open with one of my favorite guest. :)
I fully agree with the college advice given here. I said "I want to fix cars!". I worked in the field for a couple years and said "I don't want to do this forever!". Now I work in a lab :p
good for you.
Chris talking about his dreams made me realize that Chris is like Geoff. Also last RT podcast Miles was giving me some Matt vibes. Now i want to see Kerry and Brandon relate to from the original cast. I'm feeling Brandon might end up like Joel xD
Always enjoying your show, thanks Barbara!
I love having dreams because a lot of times my dreams will have cartoon or tv characters in it
What is Barbara's sweater from?
Mega64
The entire sex-pertese segment about future after high school makes me so happy as a recent HS grad/college freshman.(aka i wish i'd heard it before now)
Irish Breakfast shots followed by maple flavor whiskey and then orange juice is also a great combination.
Thank you for addressing how stupid it is to have this pressure to decide what to do with your life when you have no idea who you are in the first place.
My first crush was in 3rd grade, but it wasn't until my second year in college that i had a crush on someone who I liked not just for her beauty, but also for who she was.
Great episode really chill, I loved it
my heart kinda melted abit with the love you opening..... i miss being told legit love you.... the feels hurt now.
High-school felt like the worst time of my life when I was going through that. It was only when I started university that I realized how great high-school actually was, and looking back on it, I wish I had stayed for a 5th year before making a hasty decision with my program. I wasted 2 years of my life because of that mistake.
Another option for college if you don't know what you want to do yet is to find a school nearby that will let you audit classes. Usually you can take a class for free or for a small fee. You don't get any credit for it, but it does allow you to take multiple classes for many different majors without having to do many of the time-consuming assignments like essays and research papers. This can give you a chance to experiment with different career options and socialize with other students without going massively in debt before you know if you even want to go to college.
I had nightmares where I was about to play my freestyle solo in Jazz band, then I forgot how to play the Alto Sax entirely.
This seems short. But I'm loving the format. It's not focused on other things RT does like the RT Podcast or The Patch, but it's actually focused unlike Off Topic. Thumbs up!
I love Barbara’s shirt! I need it!! 😍😍😍
first full episode I watched. its really good! nice and short!
y is it that the answers for the questions at the end always something I needed to hear like really
It's 11:30pm on the east coast, what flippin' sorcery is this?
That's when it's been uploading this whole time
Tim the Animator hey, it just means rooster teeth is "Always Open!"
Get out.
Great group dynamic!
This was a great episode :3
I am kind mad with this show. I usually put it at night when I am getting ready to go to sleep but it gets really interesting and end up watching the whole thing and not getting enough sleep. The fact of using questions to direct the show is really good because it also make the viewer think about the question. So anyways good job Barb with the show! I'll have to find a better podcast to watch to go to bed.
I'm in final year of high school and I 100% agree with the mindset that people and schools make you think you need go to uni or college to do what you want. I know what I want to become, but will take a year off to get better and then go hopefully go to the school I want to go to.
Love the show Babs!
I've had the same dream as Jessy so many times - as a former high school theatre kid it was my greatest fear
My most common dreams are terrible.
I can have dreams that last what feels like an entire day.
It is a normal day. I wake up, do what I would do (for example, if it was a weekend I would go to my computer, if it was a weekday I would get ready), go through my day "normally" by talking to people, doing work, eating food, going to the toilet, etc., I'd go home, eat dinner, go to sleep and wake up to find out none of that happened even though I have perfect memory of it.
It's really important for me to know the date so I know if I repeated a day or not. Don't want to follow up on false events...
Everyone bein like "But you were seven!" When Chris said he realized it didn't matter that he and his friend liked the same girl. I had a semi similar situation. In 2nd grade, so around 7 years old as well, a new boy moved to our school and was in my class. All the girls n the class except me and my best friend were like IN LOVE with this kid. One day during recess my friend and I were on the swings and we watched a group of three girls chase down this boy, tackle him, and attempt to hold him down so one could kiss him. We laughed because we were like "we're 7 that's silly don't kiss people."
jessy and nick are very funny and interesting guests!!!
With the college question, I felt like I had to know what I was going to do with my life, like what Barbara said, and a few times after I graduated, a few months ago, I cried because of that. It is pushed on you to go to college even if you don't know what to do, never do that. If you don't know, and that's ok, don't go you will be wasting money and time. Got a job at a retail store making minimum wage and save some of that money for college.
I love when Chris is on the podcast... any of the RT podcasts.
Lol Nick said he played in family ties and made it sound like he was a big character. he was in one episode as young Skippy lol
I remember the "girlfriend" I had when I was 4. She and a friend I had at the time still look pretty similar, so I immediately recognized both of them recently.
almost 11 at night when I'm seeing this upload
best rt show in my opinion
For the opening shots, is Barb saying "Shout out to you guys" or "Shot out to you guys"?
it should be Shot outs...

I had this short but really like almost depressing nightmare in a sense. In the nightmare i would wake up and just resume a normal life as if i wasnt into video games or online anything really. (basically it was scary because all the amazing people i met online and consider them bffs didnt exist to me anymore)
Se we're learning that kids' nightmares are directed by Alfred Hitchcock.
11:49 There are dozens of us. Dozens!
I had no idea what I wanted to do until I actually got to college. It took me a month to be like "oh, duh, this".
I remember having a dream when I was little about giant spiders storming my house to try and eat me. And they succeeded so I was just stuck in a giant hollow thing in their thorax xD
Barbra is my favourite (the girl who voices yang)
yep, Barbara is very beautiful, and she always likes to go out with a yang!
Champagne with orange juice is a good breakfast drink
When I was 10, I'd dream of having Yugioh cards like in the show, and I'd be so hyped. Then I'd wake up and remember my cards are boring. Then I'd get the cards for real and be like, "meh."
Barbara's sweater is dope af
Ayyyy Asheville NC represent!
I'm a senior in high school and I feel like I'm starting to break out of my shell, not fully but it is a very slow process. I am not sure what I want to do for a living, going into college/ community college, hopefully this year will help me figure it out. Can't wait to enter the real world, even though it might be a giant pain in the ass.
What's college like? I'm from Australia and university is very specific upon enrolment whereas college sounds like general education unless you choose a major. Here your course only has certain subjects and a major is necessary for further years in as it decides other subjects/units.
Barbara I loooovvvee your pullover!!!
My recurring nightmare as a kid was my family would chase me down on a ice rink. As they spun really fast they butchered me in a corner with the ice skate blade.
when i was a kid (about 6ish) i used to have dreams that there was a masked man with a bat behind my door waiting for me to walk past during the night, which made waking up to pee really hard, would lay in bed and stare at my door haha
Barbra Try-to-get-you-drunkleman
To Jocelyn, I suggest saving up money now and then taking a gap year to go on exchange, or travel around and explore by yourself, or spend the year job shadowing people. Get out and experience the world and you'll find something that you're passionate about. Continue to apply for colleges and keep that as an option because you never know when the realization of what you want to pursue will hit you.
nothing is permanent in college? can I get a change on my midterm grades?
Had a nightmare once where giant talking spiders kidnapped and murdered my family. Also one where I was forced to watch my brother slowly be pulled out to sea. Both really wrecked kid me.
i wish i could answer that college question for them cause i went through that process (and i still am) but its so hard when you don't have anyone to talk to about it
Oh my god. They're describing 60% of all the nightmares I've ever had that I can remember since 7th grade.
I'm in a show, I don't know what show it is, I either don't know my role or I'm the lead, I know zero lines, and there's not a single goddamn script in the entire building. Once I just couldn't find my costume for the entire first act. It's awful.
NO BUT SAME GIRL i had a crush that also spanned years, his name was greg and i started liking him in 2nd grade and it went on throughout high school. like for all of elementary and middle school consistently then on and off in high school. (when i was a kid i would have SWORN we were destined to be together and i even came up with all these different reasons as to why lol)
