Exactly, don't get me wrong...sounds like fun. It's the same with Christmas, one of my bucket list things is spending Christmas in times square or something...somewhere popular and American and where it's really taken seriously.
Yeah that is what I was thinking. You can go to any club at Halloween in Scotland and mostly everyone is in costume. Not just Halloween but the whole weekend of Halloween.

Here's some real advice for if the person you're with isn't comfortable with period sex: don't have period sex. Respect your partner enough to allow them to be uncomfortable with whatever sexual acts they are uncomfortable with, and don't force them to do things that they don't want to do. Enough with this stupid 'guys have to suck it up girls always get what they want' bullshit around sex. There's nothing wrong with a guy if he isn't comfortable dealing with your blood. Fun facts!
1) Some sharks actually can't stop swimming, otherwise they can't breathe or they'll sink down to the ocean floor and die. Those sharks sleep by kind of zoning out while they swim. Their brain sleeps to an extent but their body still moves allowing them to breathe.
2) Some sharks, like great whites and tigers don't actually close their eyes. They don't have eyelids so they roll their eyes backwards and have a protective membrane that covers their eyes, kind of like snakes.

But if u wanna split hairs shes not nearly as pale as margot in the movie. But i can do without the 12 year olds dressing up like her as well.
That being said thank you for putting me in a little box out of your insecure fears of what i MIGHT have meant. Fun fact... Sharks do actually sleep, however they only fall asleep on one side of their body at a time. So for example, the left side of the brain would sleep while the right side stays awake, and vice versa to enable the shark to keep swimming, which is why sharks have been observed swimming in circles for short periods of time.

I can relate Mica, living in michigan it's sadly "normal" to prep for snow on Halloween, extra coats etc. :|
Also a theory about why Halloween is predominately North American: it's due to its roots which involve the yearly autumn harvest and sharing it with neighbors. Places that are hotter or more temperate throughout the year don't really have those same seasonal changes. And therefore, don't have similar harvests and don't celebrate it at the same time or fashion that NA does.
it's Hallows eve which is an Irish Gaelic holiday, and we all know about the Irish, potatoes and America. or at least, popularised by Irish people who were Christian.
And even then only because the Celts were made Christian, prior to that it was samhein--or something.
