I'm a guy and I really enjoyed this podcast. These ladies are hilarious and the stories that they covered were interesting and fun. It's a shame that people (especially other men) are already being pessimistic about it.
Hey, I think it's because if you saw him say that it would have more impact than just a voice on the Internet. it's a degree of personification for the voice of the comment.

RUclips boys are scared of girls. I never understood it but anytime a girl shows up you can inspect a ton of hate. (For the record I'm a man and I love this podcast)

It may seem obvious to you that "anyone" can like this podcast. That is great, it means that you're not sexist. But there are people here who feel like only women would enjoy a woman only podcast or that it needs a man in it to be good.

I loved this show!! It's such a contrast to the RT podcast where Barbara is constantly interrupted or talked over. It was great to see her in charge and this was a good lineup of people. Every show takes a few episodes to hit the sweet spot, it'll only get better from here

Im really sad about whats happened with rooster teeth, this is still one of my favorite podcasts and it helped me come out to some close people. I still rewatch this after all these years

Ok I just came to see how nice the set is I'll be honest.
This is throwing me off because normally on podcasts (RT Podcast, Off Topic, Dude Soup, The Patch) the host is on the left, but Barb is on the right here. It's the most arbitrary thing, but it bothers me.
I can totally understand that. When there's a discernible pattern to things it can be distracting when said pattern is broken. Personally I could care less where the host sits, so long as it remains consistent within the series. If they continue the host on the right trend for a month or two then suddenly put her on the left, that would throw me off too.
I was having a small issue with this and couldn't figure out why and this explains it.. Most podcasts that have videos I've seen have the Host on the left. It's a small thing, but it was nagging at me.
I'm surprised they didn't have Meg on the first Always Open. That would've made the video 10x better.

Andrew Lavan She didn't leave on her own and she didn't get fired. She kinda just had to leave because of technical complications. She made a couple videos about it on her channel explaining it in more detail, but both RT and Meg herself didn't want her to leave.

I have a feeling that most of the dislikes and negative comments are from guys who are suddenly terrified to realize that girls apparently piss themselves all the time.
Tbh I was sceptical to this podcast at first myself, but I enjoyed this loads. Definitely subscribing to it on my podcasts-apps and whatnot.

I recommend watching the 4 pilot episodes if you haven't yet seen them. In my opinion they were a lot better then this episode.

I haven't seen any of the negative comments people have mentioned, but I'm a guy and loved this podcast. I love hearing from Barabara, Lindsay, and Ashley in their own kind of setting! Any podcast I can drink to is fun and this one is a good length of time. Keep it up Barb!

What's great about Rooster Teeth is that there's just tons of various themed shows with all of your favorite people! Personally, I'll watch every podcast they put out, but if one doesn't really float your boat, you can try one of the other few podcasts :) thank you RT for the best network I'm followed to on the Internet.

This is obviously geared toward the female audience of the Rooster Teeth Community. I am glad that they are trying to make a new podcast, and the set looks really cool. But I am pretty sure that they won't be getting as much traction as they might expect.
At least not on RUclips. The Sponsor-only pilots did really well, but I have a feeling it won't stick to RT's RUclips audience.

more like first experiences, in a very intimate level, a lot of sex related stuff. Concentrated on that, although pretty much anything can come from the conversation.

I honestly wasn't that hyped about this but I'm really glad that I watched this because like a lot of other rt podcasts, this has such a different feel to it. And one that my lady self can relate to. Loved this podcast.

As a boy, I find this show Entertaining and Low key educational. I like to listen to people who are different to me talk about their view on things i find it very interesting.
I could get into this show, damn you rooster teeth and your shows, first it was RvB, then RWBY, on the spot, RT podcast (the only podcast I ever watch) camp camp, the know. STOP IT, I watch everything on the roosterteeth channel and now I'm hooked on this too.

Ashley mentioned Australia so i went looking for old videos of her to see if she used to have an accent. Stumbled upon a 7 YEAR OLD video of her as a frag doll and holy cow. The Ashley from that video was a soft spoken, 'teehee'-ing glamour girl. Now I'm watching this video and seeing the same person drinking, swearing, and talking about the times she's peed herself. She's gotten much cooler is what I'm saying
Why are people freaking out about the dislikes? Barely anybody dislike it. 347 dislikes isn't much when the views are 27,558.
I know the RT podcast is already established but that only has 120 dislike right now with 380k views.
Her name is Mariel. She said it and they even had it come up on the screen less than two minutes in, as well as in the description.
Not sure why you're asking "so?" though. You tried to make a point, I gave an example of why it's higher than normal hence why some people may be "freaking out" over it. It's higher dislikes than most of their videos while still having lower views so far. That's all. Sorry the facts annoy you.

Eh, it's shorter, and a bit more structured than Off Topic. OT is literally just the AH members rambling on about whatever they feel like, which is awesome! Always Open will be have more of a set of things to talk about, which is also great!

I don't hate on the cast or members, I actually love the show because it involves expressing feelings and spilling secrets, and almost any subject is allowed.

Most RT productions are mostly guys with the occasional girl, I hope this is mostly girls with the occasional guy to balance things out, as 'girls only' would ruin it(there's no, 'guys only' production in RT after all).
Other than that, can't wait for next week =)

Read Adams i agree! the comments have been absolutely flooded with horrible comments about mica and this was a sight for sore eyes. mica is a great speaker and always has such interesting things to say
they absolutely shouldnt have mica talking about her political views on here, it's a comedy podcast and no one wants to hear it, if she wants to make her own video talking about that stuff then find but leave it out of other things that don't need it
They talked about 9/11 in one of the pilot episodes. It's called "Always Open" for a reason.
