She became the head of Achievement Hunter, a franchise deeply based in its talents personalities. She did not fit in with the talent when she tried (she was the initial test substitute for Ray). Jeremy and Matt came along at just the right time, Matt also had his builds to help him.
I'm so glad Ashley brought up women being able to experiment with their style. I totally get that the pressure to be beautiful all the time could really suck and make you feel insecure but at the same time, I'm transgender and I'm fighting for the right and ability to be able to be beautiful all the time. It always hurts a little bit when I hear women complain about make up and getting their hair done when all I want in the whole world is to be able to wear make up and have gorgeous long hair. It's crazy how we all see the world so differently based on our own experiences!
Beckie do what you'd like. try to accept yourself more first and have more positivity and confidence first, because you will see yourself as more beautiful and that will reflect onto yourself. As I was younger, I always felt like I had to wear leggings under my clothes because I didn't want to show off my body and I always hid behind my hair(it was long but it had so many split ends it had to be cut short, take care of your hair!) and never looked up at the sky. And I just... I don't think I loved myself. I saw me as a monster and in the end I didn't look great.
So just take care of yourself and love yourself and be your own friend. Do not be pressured to wear makeup or long hair or whatever. If you want to, that's great, but just be your own friend.
Don't be pressured to try to be so crazy about makeup or fashion because when you are pressured, you're rushing yourself and not doing things properly. Just take time to yourself, love.
You are beautiful and gorgeous. The media is bs, okay? Just take time for yourself.

Boy you really saved me the trouble of continuing to see the licensed psychologist who is approving me for female hormone treatments! Beckie Don't get discouraged. Everyone has the right to be who they are as well as who they want to be. The only divider between the two is what you choose to do about it.

For all the dudes who don't understand why women seem to have a harder time holding their pee than you do. We have a prostate which reinforces the bladder allowing us an easier time holding it in. Women have a uterus which actively pushes up against the bladder depending on position and movement.

Hey, just wanted to say thank you ladies for the advice. I really appreciate it! I particularly like what Ashley had to say. I'm going to continue my networking, and portfolio building when I can find the time. It's just hard sometimes when you're working 60-70 hours a week, as you all probably know with shoot schedules and long set days. Hearing it from you all made it much easier for me to put in perspective. Thanks again! And if any of you are ever in Atlanta I can help with finding the best restaurants, haha. Cheers!

I love that this always feel like what I talk about with my own friends. Period poops, bleeding, period smells, make-up issues, addictive tv, just all of it, it feels like I am just sitting with my friends right now.
I fully agree with everything they said for the final segment. My whole life I wanted to be a Vet. I studied hard to get high grades to be able to get into vet school. So in 2016 just after graduating high school, I enrolled at a local Veterinary Nursing School so I'd have an idea of the industry before I moved away for vet school. I was required to do work experience at a few clinics and I absolutely hated it. I was hard for me to quit, but I had to because it made me so depressed having to get up in the morning to go do something I wasn't enjoying. I'm now studying IT and love it. Follow your hearts everyone.

I'm sorry but if someone is up for a promotion, and they are going to be gone for whatever reason (maternity leave), and they need someone in the position during that time, wtf else are they supposed to do. Of course they aren't getting the promotion. Especially if the other person is just as good an option, and also will be available when the position opens up and they need someone in it.
It makes sense that you should legally get plenty of payed time off when having a child, and have your job when you return. It does not make sense that the company should, while you are gone, halt progress because one of their employees is pregnant.

Frank Spencer so, I should quit RT (my dream job and main building block in my career) to be a mom, then decide if I want to come back? If they'll even have me? Nah. Also, for a lot of women, quitting to focus solely on motherhood isn't an option. Especially single mothers. We need that source of income.

I didn't say it was a rule. As lives goes the way you do not want sometimes, you need this finiancial netting. And with me, I didn't do it the way my parents did it neither. And my wife didn't, however, she is taking her maternity, as you should too. Your children are there for your lifetime, work can wait. (see them speak, walk and learn through you. Your husband (Michael) should take the bread home in these months)
its actually easier to open your eyes in the ocean because the salt water is a closer match to the salinity of your eyes. also the ocean is pretty close to being ph neutral

I doubt they look at comments, but Lindsay; probably the best way to balance parental control with allowing freedom is to explain how consequences work. Authoritative parenting (not to be confused with authoritarian "don't do that because I say so") has the same high expectations as authoritarian, but also provides the support to help them meet your expectations. Being there to inform them of what the consequences might be goes a long way to fostering a critical mind.
Thought 2017 was looking to be a pretty dark year, but more Becca in Rooster Teeth videos is shining a light on it instead. She seems to be such a lovely woman. A real pleasure to listen to.

Depends what country you hail from (1). You can ask anyone anything, it may be offensive but it isn't illegal (if refer to (1)) (2). It is probably a regulation (which isn't a criminal offence) (3)
I'm from Canada and it's covered by a discrimination law here.
+WPGlongboarding which inturn does the thing you don't want to do and discriminates against employers checking on the capbility of the employee you could hire. This is why these "discrimination" laws are a load of bollox. We have workers' rights for this chaps. (Calling out the EU here.)

Yeeeesssssss Charmed!!! I started watching with my mom when she was pregnant with my sister (so 5 years ago?) and since then I've watched it multiple times. It has a nostalgia factor for me because it was from such a good time even though it was recent. Maybe I'll watch it again...

My company still uses faxes to send forms to each other. We also have direct contracts with local hotels and from what I was told is that we fax the reservations to the hotels. I work with web technology. I'm sure there is something more high tech we could be doing or using.

This is a weird thing. I have had girls tell me that they are bothered when I refer to them in a collective group as "guys" and since then I try to gender that stuff more. Then I had people tell me that referring to a group of girls as "girls" or "ladies" sounds belittling and misogynistic. Pretty sure this is just selfconsciousness with being the other being projected onto messy speaking. It will materialize one way or another. In a professional setting where people are buttoned up and a bit generic anyway, I would expect a more formal "Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen" but I generally perceive "gentlemen" to mean "esteemed colleagues" and I'm sure others do as well.

Men cannot get away with stuff on TV. If the guy is less than perfect he is portrayed as a dead beat, lazy, loser, dumb, sleeze, or a personality you do NOT want. That is not a fair statement from Lindsay. We have equally as much pressure to man up, be buff, confident, and things that woman don't realize or appeal to them achieving.
Lucy Hun that's besides the point, the point is that from a young age men are literally bullied into being a certain type of guy, if they don't fit that requirement, they are bullied into submission basically.

Well your not wrong, there are chemicals that will change the color of urine by reacting with the ammonia in it, but it requires a large amount to get the same reaction throughout the pool, as the water with dilute it.

7:19 that reminds me of this time before I could swim too well I thought it would be a good idea to go to my school's choir's pool party... and the pool had a ten foot deep dropoff on one half of the pool so, three feet, four feet, five feet, eight feet, ten feet. There was a basketball hoop connected to the pool so you could shoot some baskets in the water. I decided I was going to perfect my horrible swimming skills by swimming to wherever the ball landed in the water after I tried to shoot a basket and one time it went past the ten foot drop off... well I began swimming towards it and actually stayed a float, i gripped the ball but it didn't wrap around my hand yet so the tip of my fingers pushed it away and I lost balance and I legit turned to my friend in the pool and began to yell how I was drowning, I became fully submerged and was slowly sinking to the bottom before my friend grabbed me... so yeah... stay away from ten feet deep pools if you suck at swimming.
I mean men are expected to not take ANY time off, paternity leave exists a lot less than maternity leave
