A cool new design. However, there are a couple of things to note. There is no mid plate to reduce the load on the bottom battery from the weight of the top batteries. The Seplos Mason 280L DIY BOX has implemented this change. Secondly , try making the battery connection with an option to choose an easy disconnect head instead of using lugs. Finally, it seems the space at the top is a bit tight. You can make the cover at the top to be removable for easy access. But overall, nice case and i like the screen display at the top of the box. 👍

They seem to have forgotten to add foam (or not enough foam) between every battery, so now too much space is left over at the top, so no compression is applied at all 😢 Oh well, at least is it is a DIY battery, so you can correct this error. Bit painful for a demonstration video though.

You need to add enough foam to compress the cells, you can check 2:25, and we put extra foam for compression.

I can confirm the Seplos Mason 280L Does Not have a Middle plate to take weight of the upper half of batteries..

@@DukeEast The old version does not, the new versions since end of 2023 do.

I think the handles should be installed the other way around. The way they are installed now, will crush your fingers when carrying.

    no compression at all?

One question towards the architecture of the middle rail in the box: On the footage on your website there is no middle rail to additionally compress the cells in the middle of the compress plate. Here in the video there is a middle rail.
Which version is the current one. Before ordering the box this would be important to know. Thanks.

Does this not harm the batterycells ?? The position of the cells is questinable ???

Lots of vertical kits on the market now...Batteries can be any orientation except upside down.....Apparently.

@@kennyrodg Basically all the wall-mounted batteries on the market are this battery position, we asked the engineers of EVE, they only suggest that the positive and negative poles face the ceiling. And with enough force to clamp down on the cells, we're launching a CCS battery module that might solve all your doubts.

EVE warns german customers to use these cases for their batteries, all EVE LF and MB are not meant to be stored in these vertical boxes which will force the cells to lay flat instead of an usual upright position with the valve and terminal showing to the ceiling .
No warranty regarding cycles and capacity if the EVE cells will be abused this way .
Stupid move by EELL and SEPLOS anD GOBEL to sell crappy boxes and batteries that viloate the warrany terms.

@@eelbatteryofficial For example, I could weld stiffeners to your pressure plate and add a stiffener to adjust the height of the battery stack. Will it work?

@@Angelorademon Your method is more difficult to achieve, the car is like us this method (using CCS and steel strip clamp), you can take a look at this video: ruclips.net/video/Yok9CxiNwR0/видео.html

@@eelbatteryofficial Mr. Howard, by the way, we are already communicating via email, and I paid for the order today. I just want to say that welding the stiffeners in your box is not difficult for me, it will only take 15 minutes and it will be the most inexpensive solution :)
