The amount of talent and dedication from these performers and artists in this song is just...it's insane. They went up there, worked together, and made something beautiful. I think they had a good time doing it too, which makes it so much better.
Comatose is such a beautiful song. And that flute and violin teaming up.....Arjen Lucassen is a hero. This whole performance is mindblowing. The very best show I ever witnessed
I continue to be late to the party but like what is happening. More great Ayreon and more great reactions and comments. This one might just make the list of ‘ music for thoses pretending to sleep’. My wife worked with a very tall lady who got tired of being bugged about it. Apparently one while she was in school said it one to many times “how’s the weather up there , she said it’s hailing and hail the size of a fist came falling out of the sky. I hope all is well, take care and blessings. 🙏🙏🙏

U two are so funny! I was fortunate to watch Michael Mills live, a few weeks ago. And having conversation with him. Like the lady at the merch counter told me: "the nicest guy to meet!". He is! Talked with his bass player, too. A dude from Sweden. Also: a pleasent guy to ever meet! I was also at Floor Jansen's concert in Hamburg, last fall. (Where at the end of the show, roses came flying on the stage.) Anneke was her opening act. Just one woman on stage with an acoustic guitar and an 8ties tape recorder. It seemed that everyone in the audience knew her as well. She ended her performance, saying: "If this is gonna go on like this: Floor is in for a treat!" I hope we showed this to lovely Floor. The venue was changed from the Sprthalle to Große Freiheit 36. Floor called it a sauna. It was packed. But I never heard anyone complain. It was great! Now is my time to ask you (and followers) to react on a band I was fortunate to watch live last fall: Morganway! They blew our minds as opening act for Elles Bailey. Pls look for Don't turn the lights on, yet or: come over! They are amazing! (That is, when us "northernly german" folks come to like someone: we are: unfriendly. Brutally honest. Not easy to become friends with. That's us!)
The 'guy with the 2 drums' is Mike Mills (Toehider), you usually see him singing, he sang the binary in The Day That The World Breaks Down. Damien Wilson(Headspace) is the guy singing with Anneke, they sounded awesome together. Bonesy needs to learn to control himself.🤣

Welcome back. Arjen Lucassen is indeed 6’7”.

Oh I like Damian a lot. Dearly... from the time of Star One live shows. But for this specific song, it will always be Jorn Lande. 🙂
