  • Episode #37: is a great reminder about how sometimes we need to make bold decisions to reinvent ourselves. On Sunday July 14th a book called the Cuckoo's Calling by new author Robert Galbraith had only sold 1500 books. The media later revealed that the author was a pseudonym and that the real author was JK Rowling, author of the Harry Potter series. The book sky rocketed to Amazon's #1 selling list and ended up selling 507,500 copies by the end of the day.

I feel that I've been going through change for quite some time now and have yet to hit my stride. I feel now that I'm on the right path mostly thanks to you Pat, through your Valuetainment videos and your work ethic. You are someone I aspire to imitate and you inspire me every day. Just want to say thanks

Lesson 31 | Can you solve JK Rowling's mystery?
    - She made a book pretending to be someone else, and people found out that that 'someone else' wrote really similarly to JK Rowling
    - It was in fact her who made the book, and this proved that she was constantly reinventing and improving herself to make sure she still had the capacity to write amazingly
    - When was the last time you reinvented yourself?

Key Takeaways (Questions to meditate on):
When is the last time you reinvented yourself?
Or are you the same person you were 10, 20 or 30 years ago?

She didn't need to prove anything to anyone but she reinvented herself which is what's amazing. Constantly improving 👌🏻

Lesson: Don't take past succsess as "You've made it". Reinvent yourself, and try to create new succsess. We can always improve. Even when we think we have reached our highest self, there is always more to achieve.

Don't forget studying is one form of development, training you could argue is studying, but don't forget improving personally is also development. It comes in many factors, but pushing yourself to attain more in life is the aim to help you grow, not only financially but personally. Others will notice as the time goes on.

Pretty amazing, Kudos to JK Rowling. It is sad though that people needed to KNOW it was JK to recognize that Cuckoo's Calling was a good book.

Huh, I suppose this means that the game of life is a game of reinvention and improvement. Respect to JK Rowling for playing the game at its highest level.

Even when you are already successful, you should want additional challenge - go out there and make an effort.

I've heard it took her 4 years to write her 1st harry potter novel that she sold to the publisher for $100,000 which is a little over $68 a day through out those 4 years. But of course she earned way more money with each new book that has came out after that including royalties from the movies too and other merchandise that's now in her business contract.
Just comes to show things turn out best to those who make the best of the way things turn out. By doing what they can, with what they have, where they are.
And the reason why she keeps working when she really didn't ever have to work for money again is because she knows what Tony Robbins knows. If that you never worked again you would be completely unfulfilled.

Man I just realised that the 10th richest person in my country only has a networth of 200million. If it was that hard for them to get that rich, how hard is it going to be for me to reach 100 million :/
