Nitro for me, thanks. The rustler with a 3.3 is pretty fun. I'm now 45 and when I was a kid Nitro was where it was at. Electric is now faster but still something special about a nicely tuned nitro motor. And people ALWAYS get a kick out of the Nitro stuff when I'm out in public.
I'm 40 and I vividly remember when electric was about 20mph max and took all night to charge. Meanwhile nitro could run 50. Today electric does 60mph+ without breaking a sweat and these huge 9000+ mah batteries have 30 minute runtimes, but the electrics are so boring compared to an actual engine
True. Mine does as well. I like the fact that it handles that way it does, though. During high-speed passes, I actually force it to spin out while braking. I stop faster by doing that. Kind of mastered the spin stop. 😆 Thanks for watching!
Chiming in late here, but I would say get a revo. Parts are still available and the truck does everything. The biggest thing to remember with the 3.3 is very tiny turns on the carb make huge differences. I'm taking 1/16 of a turn can make the difference from truck not running to truck running perfectly
@@Dre357 I don’t a have nitro Rustler, or a nitro anything for that matter, but this video makes me want one bad. I’ve got a VXL Rustler and it’s among my favorites.
@RadioControlGuitarist they're awesome! I think you'll love it! The Nitro Rustler is a great introduction to Nitro. Tuning is fairly easy, and some of the parts on your Rustler VXL are interchangeable.

Nitro header is on the wrong screws holes it’s pointing down and pulling on the seal i your video not Sure if anyone told you.
Exactly it's not. That's the configuration from the factory. Thanks for watching!
I had a jato 3.3 it was okay i didn't like the way it handle.
I have a jato and the rear wheel only brakes are the biggest problem. Hit the brakes and car spins around

Electric looks so simple... Nitro has soul, much more fun!
Facts!
Hey Dre Getting a nitro car any recommendations on which one I should get ?
Thanks
Depends on how and what terrain you're running on......I would start with a Nitro Rustler.

I got an older nitro rustler 2.5r. And a new trx4m. I wish the trx4m was nitro. But the electrics are alot less work
It gets easier over time. That's been my experience. Thanks for the feedback!
