These shows comprised most of my childhood, seeming more serious at the time than Saturday morning cartoons, at least until I knowingly discovered Anime (some was around when I was young... Astro Boy, Speed Racer et al).

I didn't watch this show as a kid (born in 87) but I watched Thunderbirds, Captain Scarlet and Joe 90. Eventually worked my way through the rest of the Gerry Anderson catalogue in reverse. Apart from the super groovy Captain Scarlet end theme this has to be the best one
I loved XL5 when I was a kid. But for music, I'd vote Thunderbirds, followed closely by the UFO theme. Space 1999 and Captain Scarlett were pretty great too. Honestly, Barry Gray was as genius, and Gerry could spot talent. And the results are timeless.
It wasn't a bad early puppet show. It was there in black and white before Thunderbirds. The puppets were not as sophisticated at either Stingray or Thunderbirds but it was a good effort for its day.
Gosh, did Felix have this before Craig Fergusons simular spot on his show about 15 years ago ? The dancing is so simular, except craig had the puppet crew with him…..
Nah, it’s just a wholesale copy. Craig used to do these skits all the time as he didn’t have much budget in the early days, then he got big ratings, more budget and we saw MrPeterson and less of the puppets. look up him doing Monster Madh. I love the little fella and the bondage gear…..as I said, just a copy hoping you hadn’t seen Craig’s Show.
