@@FutureAzA Brian has long been my main content provider because he's so generous with his time on other people's channels like Herbert, TeslaJigsaw (Will), TeslaFix, Randy Kirk and many others. They all recognise Brian's expertise. I really hope such regular appearances earn Brian a share of their monetisation. Regular experts like Brian and Jeff Lutz need to be recomensed.
37:48 I love it when you show us the warty underbelly of FSD, Brian. Of course, I experience some of it myself. So far, I’ve had only ONE 15-ish minute drive from home to coffee shop, parked at home to double parked at Santos, with ZERO disengagements. BUT, the car hit unnecessarily too much rough pavement, once coming out of its lane to hit bad pavement between the lanes. I suffered the alignment challenging road hazards just to see if FSD could make the trip. It did, but I generally take over to dodge the nasty stuff that FSD will not.
Sound volume was super low most of the time. Good to point out that Fred has a big chip on his shoulder. The negative headlines all seam to be proven to be click bait and not statistically relevant but they love to go down any rabbit hole with no reputation to lose. Great reporting on this channel.
I'd like to make an argument for the "Foundation Series" badge. I believe it is going to be worth a few thousand dollars, at the very least. Early production numbers should be worth more also. The Foundation Series is supposed to be a "Limited Edition," that should ad value also. Alrighty then.. Great show Brian👍 Merry Christmas
Merry Christmas! I think most people will start taking robotaxis for local rides with fairly low speeds. And yeah, the liability in an accident would be pretty obvious from the camera footage
Please give us an explanation of the charging methodology fot the Robotaxi. Is it solely induction under the car ? Does this mean owners have to buy an induction charger? At what cost? How fast is this charging method? Thanks. Ted Wastie. ( Down Under).
29:36 there I was thinking it was the do not enter signs… go back to that same booth and roll down your window, pretend to pay and roll up your window, see if it goes then…
Its beginning to look like Teslas - are in the news again Selling so very well, despite the news that tells - a story so different than reality And its Brian of FutureAzA - who reports the truth to us all - about the new cars Making their way to all - new owners and veterans of the brand as well -- Merry Christmas to ALL
Unfortunately, Brian, lying or bringing cars to market with known safety defects has been done. One with a better idea knew about an engineering defect that could cost lives, and it did. The justification was the payout for wrongful health would be less expensive than making the engineering change.
32:26 there is possible, practical, and profitable. It could very likely be less expensive to upgrade the hardware on the hw3 vehicles with purchased FSD licenses (surely no more than 25% of the hw3 cars) than to maintain a special branch for the cars with more limited cameras, memory and tensor processing hardware. Unless, that is, Tesla solves artificial specific intelligence which I believe could run easily on HW3, and no longer has to rely on the current approach of building bigger and more tensor processor hungry models of ever more complex and nuanced reflexes in order to mindlessly mimic good driving, as it seems to me that V12 and V13 are doing. No, I’m no AI expert, nor have I any special info from Tesla, but some things seem, repeat seem obvious to some who has rarely gone a week over the last half century thinking on these things. And I got in an obligatory comment!
Happy Christmas Brian, and pleased to see you getting more mentions recently by other Tesla people. regards from UK
You’re quickly becoming one my main sources.
Appreciate that.

Brian skips the clickbaity nonsense, calls out the FUDsters, and tells the real stories with the best wit and snark this side of the Onion.
Optional Comment: "Bad Fred!"
At some point Fred gets disfredited.
Volume is about half of what you usually produce.
Bravo, Brian!
