😂 love it the young bloke, at the start taking the piss out of his Dad 💖 from Australia 🇦🇺 just curious did you have it in low 4x4 when you were backing it up Graham?
Absolutely brilliant seeing some father son bonding time at work. I've took my lad to work since he could walk. He's now 14 and training fitters ! I'm sure your lad will be exactly the same. !
Helping out a farmer to care for his lame bull on a Sunday. Heroic. Taking your son with you to have some quality father-son time. PRICELESS!!! Thank you, Moooo!
I grew up on a family farm and was always with my mom and dad at the barn. When they said stay right here, I did what they said. It was a wonderful way to grow up and I am so thankful I could be with my parents all of the time!
Bring the kid, teach him the basics of being safe around livestock, no issues. I was riding horses cleaning stables at his age. Its also a great influence for your kid, showing him empathy and care for animals, and a strong work ethic, which is the best! Great parenting!
Yes nothing wrong with taking kids with you like this. Showing kids how to behave and general stuff like safety is 100 times better then lectures and yelling. It seems to stick longer with them.
MY FAVORITE EPISODE...You will blink your eyes and those babies will be looking down to you... So PROUD of your sweet family. Looks like you have what's MOST IMPORTANT pegged. ❤👣
Aww my, 6 years old, he is so grown up and so clever. He had me near to blubbering when he said " I like it just me and you". NOTHING is more a blessing than children. they grow up so quickly. Thank you so much for letting us meet your son, being a nanny I miss my grandsons something chronic. Don't worry Craig we still like you. :) Don't be upset if hoof trimming is not his thing, a fireman maybe in the making.
Watching your videos helped me a lot on saving my bull, he was getting extra lame due to damage in one of his hooves, but your experience and the tips you give were godsend, thanks a lot man...
When I was young (probably about 7 upwards) I would go on holiday to a Campsite that had a smallholding attached to it. The guy that ran it all was really great, he originally had Goats, always had sheep (including one single Black Face Ewe while the rest were Cheviots, that's a long story in itself), ducks, geese, pheasants an chickens of two or three different breeds. There was also a cantankerous Shetland Pony who frequently suffered with Laminitis if he was allowed onto the fresh green grass too much, he also had the owner spoiling him with a slice of bread if he wouldn't come in for e or my Mum because the grass was too good. Quite often I'd get up really early and go an bottle feed any lambs that needed it, and I'd help my Mum feed the chickens, geese, ducks an often the sheep as well. I had loads of fun and was never injured. It's a great learning experience!
Me too. My uncle took over my grandparents' farm in Dorset ({my Dad joined the Army instead) and I'd go and spend holidays there when i was out of school as my parents were always posted abroad somewhere. Loved it.
Our black angus bull did the same thing to one of our fence panels back in July when we were sorting out our yearlings. Mr. Nosy got in the mix, got anxious about being parted from his cows and executed a flying body slam on the panel before I could open it to let him out. It honestly just proves that the only thing keeping him in the pasture is being with his herd and being well fed!
It brought tears to my eyes to see you and your son, working and playing together at the end. You know you appear like a god to him. Seems like yesterday my son was 6 - now he's nearing 40! As you said, those years are a part of what makes life matter. Warm wishes to you and your entire family, Graeme.
Holy cow!!! That's some next level driving there sir! Seriously, I thought my daddy was a trailer backing up expert, but what I just saw you do is absolutely epic driving!!
Your little guy is adorable. I have 3 children, all 50+ yrs. It seems like yesterday that they were all little. Time goes swiftly when one is a parent.
Your son talking about liking one-on-one time warmed my heart it was so darn cute. I can tell he adores you and looks up to you. He’s stinking adorable too i can barely understand him with that little accent 😂🥰
Reminds me of the time my grandmother took me with her to the stockyards. She was loading Brahma bulls onto a cattle car with the help of the stock man to be transported the next day (Monday). This was about 1958-60, and I was about 9-10. I was not allowed to help herd the bulls into the car, I had to sit on a 7 foot fence (a little over 2 meters) so the view was good. Perhaps should mention my grandmother owned and operated a trucking company.
I was a kid growing up in the country. We didn't live on a farm but we were surrounded by them and had friends that did. We were also surrounded by wild life, some of which was potentially dangerous for a child. I was taught early on to respect animals, how to behave with different kinds and read their body language so that I could react if I had to, and make friends with them when I could. Honestly, I think kids are safer with animals than people. Animals almost never lie.
This is the absolute sweetest episode ever. I love how you interacted with your boy! It’s pretty obvious how much fun and love is happening with you two!!
My mom was a single mom so I have always been with her when she was working. I think it´s beautiful that this time meant so much for your son. Lovely memories for you both to have in the future :)
I love that you take your wee boy to work. He gets to see what you are doing from a safe distance and you are teaching him about all the precautions he needs to take in that situation. That is how kids learn; by being shown the correct way to do things. It is quality time with your boy which he will remember all his life. Xxx
Such a fine young man. Love to see him helping his dad and spraying the crush down. You are not only a great hoof specialist but a great father and family man as well. God bless you and your family.
Fantastic video a man with his son at his side!! Family is the most important gift! That boy will remember all those precious moments with his father and best friend for life. Great job Sir. And also, I enjoyed your work with the animal. So very interesting and educational. The Lord bless you, all your family and your business. Keep up the good work Sir. 👍🏻👍🏻
Honesty is what makes you good. You said i saw him months ago. “Honestly” he has gotten worse. Sometimes things don’t work out. But we try again. Great video
The real fact is the you are teaching your kid the importance of working for your earnings. So he will grow up knowing that money doesn't grow on trees and this he will never forget. Got my respect, bro.
Good to see the little man with you! Hopefully he’s enjoying his quality time out with you, not every kid gets to see what their parents do for a living. Hopefully the bull is on the road to recovery thanks to the two of you!

Taking your son with you is the best education he will get. Teaching him life skills like courage, bravery, resiliency, respect for animals and mother nature, team work and self employment are powerful. There is far too much fear programming into children that renders them useless risk adverse adults. You are so correct! Children know soon grown and gone. And we miss them so much when they are such a close part of our lives! Keep up the good work both with the Cowles and with the kiddos, but don’t forget your wife! She needs you to.
It was so nice to see your boy sat up there with the dogs actually watching you- with no iPad or phone stuck in his face like most kids these days! Best way to grow up and learn by watching dad.
Good for you having your son with you as you said quality time for you both. We spent alot of time in the cow shed and shearing shed with dad, loved every minute of it. Country kids in NZ more free range I suppose lol.
Yeah it may be dangerous for a child but you really keep an eye out for him to keep him safe. He loves spending that time with you and it’s good for both of you. Great job dad!
Such a precious lil boy. Wants to spend alone time with his dad. Love it!! Relish in it sir. It passes oh so quickly. Thank you for sharing ur family with us here and there
I am impressed with that bit of backing up you had to do. Didn't think you had the height clearance. As in many times the obvious was not the real real problem. Good that you go looking for the cause. I'm a great fan of a great hoof trimmer. 🇺🇸 🇺🇸 💘 🇺🇸 🇺🇸 💘 Scotland too.
That's hella good driving getting the crush in there. Super good suspension the crush didn't even bottom out. It has really great lateral stability. No rocking from side to side. That's a super cute assistant you have there. One on one time together is precious. I'm pretty sure Mrs. Hoof GP wouldn't let her boy go if it was to dangerous. Kids are born and raised on farm's. He looked like he was having a blast being with his dad. That's awesome.
Oh my god your son is adorable, I can't wait to take my kids out to ride and care for horses with me - my mom always brought me since I was an infant. It's super special and I think others are ridiculous for thinking you shouldn't spend time with your kid in a barn.
Your little man enjoys being with daddy and you know he has lots of personality like you I didn’t think I would enjoy watching anyone trimming cows feet but I do because you care about them 🤙😍
I LOVE how you let your sons join you at work, people dont realise how much kids learn when they are brought up around animals 💖 Also know its a sunday but sadly animals dont take days off and so that means their caretakers dont either and its great you show peeps that you care enough to work when the cows need ya too (i spent many a xmas day or another holiday having to go into work as the animals needed feeding, cleaning out or when i was a vet nurse there was a animal needing care) Love watching these vids 💖
In addition to being a great hoof trimmer, you are a fantastic father! There is no higher compliment a man can earn. Love your channel and the brief glimpses into your life.
Graeme mention about his son being there and the dangers of it but also of the time spent together. My grandparents had a farm and I enjoyed doing chores though I was very protected by my family. I enjoyed using the manual machine that takes the dried corn off the cob for feed for the cattle, picking blackberries along the fences (for dessert that evening), making butter & gathering eggs. It is a memory that started 70 years ago that I still cherish. The saddest part is the farm is now gone but I still have my memories. I didn't see the hoofs trimmed but do remember (vividly) see the horns being burned off the young bulls. I will treasure these memories forever. Please continue to spend as much time with the children as you can.
My dad was a livestock carrier for most of my childhood. I used to go to work with him. We'd do weekend trips away. I'd watch him climb all over the trailers of his truck, loading cattle from all over Western Australia. I learned so much about the state but also the cattle. There was many a mishap because you can't tell animals what to do if they don't want to be told. But all in all, it was a great time. Memories.
I trimmed there with you right? I believe thats the farm we went to and is in the 11th video you made?...WAY BACK IN THE BEGINNING! 😊
Ha ha ha yep you sure did!!! That was a great day

I see no issue kids should learn from parents and family
Same.
I was a little more fearful of the pups jumping off the bed of the truck than the kid.
I assumed that's who will be taking over the business when dad gets turned out to pasture!
I mean when I was 5 I was milking cows and jumping on to bulls and trying to ride them so I don’t see a issue
My thoughts exactly

That's a super cute assistant you have there. One on one time together is precious. I'm pretty sure Mrs. Hoof GP wouldn't let her boy go if it was to dangerous. Kids are born and raised on farm's. He looked like he was having a blast being with his dad. That's awesome.
Oh my god your son is adorable, I can't wait to take my kids out to ride and care for horses with me - my mom always brought me since I was an infant. It's super special and I think others are ridiculous for thinking you shouldn't spend time with your kid in a barn.
It is wonderful that you take your children to work, you are teaching them to be a good mam
I’m glad you got to see the cows and help them 🐄🐂🐃🐮
Your little man enjoys being with daddy and you know he has lots of personality like you I didn’t think I would enjoy watching anyone trimming cows feet but I do because you care about them 🤙😍
Your kids are just soooo adorable!🥰😍
I LOVE how you let your sons join you at work, people dont realise how much kids learn when they are brought up around animals 💖
Also know its a sunday but sadly animals dont take days off and so that means their caretakers dont either and its great you show peeps that you care enough to work when the cows need ya too (i spent many a xmas day or another holiday having to go into work as the animals needed feeding, cleaning out or when i was a vet nurse there was a animal needing care)
Love watching these vids 💖
In addition to being a great hoof trimmer, you are a fantastic father! There is no higher compliment a man can earn. Love your channel and the brief glimpses into your life.
This little son and dad moment at the end is just heart warming. Keep up the good job!!
Your son is absolutely adorable, just like his Dad!!!
Omg ur son is ADORABLE!!! (Heart melted) when he said he loved time with just you. 🥰🥰🥰
Loved it. So great you could take your son.
It is very sweet he is with you and looks like you kept him very safe on the truck, great Dad.
That was some amazing backing up skill, especially from the wrong side of the vehicle. :)
As long as kids listen - and this one appears to - and know when to stay put and when and where to run when they're told to, then it's all good.
I agree as long as he stays where dad says to stay hes good.
Memories.
So cute to see you in your daddy role ! Thanks for sharing this moment with us !! Great seeing you introduce your son to hardworking !! 😍😍
Love seeing you not missing an opportunity for quality time with your son. You're making memories that will last him a lifetime.
