However, too bad that Nikon has no other lens for aps-c sensor on Z mounts, and neither another manufacturer (tamron, sigma) has no Z lenses. Thank you very much! Ohhhh that’s a tough decision haha. I will say the 50-250mm might be my favourite all-time lens for my Z50 (even above a couple f/1.8 S primes). It’s perfectly suited to the APS-C crop of the Z50/Z30. If I’m understanding correctly you’ll have the 16-50mm, your adapted 28mm, and potentially the 50-250mm. I’d say that’s a pretty sweet combo. If the lack of sharpness is due to motion blur then you’ll need to pick a faster shutter speed. A common rule is to make the shutter speed double your focal length (when shooting at 50mm you’ll want at least a 1/100 shutter speed). Most lenses are sharpest around f/8 during bright sunny days. I’ve had good results with the Nikkor lenses around f/4-5.6 as well though.
I can absolutely vouch for the Z50 for any type of photography you want to do. When it comes to video you’re going to have to think about certain things more. Hey Toni, I think that’s about what I paid for the same 3 items two years ago. Seems like camera gear isn’t going down in price. I’ve shot all 3 of those things with the Z50 and it does really well. The 50-250mm lens in this video might be a good option! Nikon also makes an 18-140mm lens that could be good if you’re looking to shoot a bit wider. All comes down to personal preference. I really like the 50-250mm though. Shoot with it a lot!

TIA
Toni
Hey Toni, I think that’s about what I paid for the same 3 items two years ago. Seems like camera gear isn’t going down in price. I’ve shot all 3 of those things with the Z50 and it does really well. The only thing is the rolling shutter is quite noticeable if you’re shooting really fast moving subjects passing by. It should be fine if you’re doing rolling shots though. Check out my instagram @roland_kaufmann_ if you want to see a bunch of shots I’ve taken.
@RolandKaufmann Thanks, man, for the fast reply and information
Yeah, the prices never go down only stay or go higher.
I will check out your IG .
Definitely buying Z50 :D
how is the camera in low light?
It’s definitely not the best low light camera. But if you put a low aperture lens on it then it’s quite capable!
We’re these pictures edited after words or are these straight from the camera? Because they are super beautiful picture. Also very sharp! 😊
Thank you! Photos were edited in Lightroom. I may try and show the RAW images in a future video :).
@@RolandKaufmann 👍😀
@@RolandKaufmann also would love to see the raw/ unedited versions of your pictures just to see how good the quality of photos are from the Z 50!
@@RolandKaufmann I’m thinking about getting/saving up for the Z 50 because I love photography but only been doing on my phone which I’m good at. But want to learn on an actual camera! 😀
@@jaxoneason4470 the Z50 is a good camera to transition from cell phones! That’s what I did :)
Z50 or a64000 for photography?
Good question! A couple years ago I would have said the Sony, but Nikon have done a great job of adding DX lenses to the Z line up. Nikon Z50 all the way!
@@RolandKaufmann I've been eyeing for the sony a6400 but the z50 catches my eye because of its buttons and classic mirroless look. Thanks for this, I'll consider your answer as my final decision to buy the z50.
Is this camera considered the best in the same price category? Or do you advise me what is best? ❤❤
I’ve been out of the camera market for a couple years, but at the time this camera was very good for the price! The fact I’m still using it 2+ years later must mean something :). Which other camera are you looking at?
@@RolandKaufmann canon 200d for exemple ??
@@medali8686 I’d take the Nikon Z50 over that. I personally wouldn’t buy a DSLR camera in 2023. Mirrorless is the modern standard of cameras.
@@RolandKaufmann thanks you brother . Really appreciate your help
May I know your camera setting when shooting low light in the evening?
For the low light shots I was shooting at the lowest aperture I could usually (3.5 or 4), shutter speed around 1/100, and iso around 800-1000. Had to bring up exposure and shadows in Lightroom afterwards. Hope this helps. Settings may vary depending on your conditions.
Amazing. Thats sooc or u edit file raw. Sr my English is not good
Thank you!! These are edited raw files. Edited in Lightroom.
@@RolandKaufmann u can show me some best lens for z50. I like Scenery, moon, flower, sunset and portrait. Thank u so much
The 50-250mm lens in this video might be a good option! Nikon also makes an 18-140mm lens that could be good if you’re looking to shoot a bit wider. All comes down to personal preference. I really like the 50-250mm though. Shoot with it a lot!
Old man playing guitar 🎸
That’s a good one! Thanks for watching :)
@@RolandKaufmann looking forward to buy it.
@@marshallminzz4897 I don’t think I can sell you the photo, but send me an email to rkaufmann02@gmail.com and I can send you a digital copy!
nice video. I just subscribed to your channel, and i Hope soon you will get monetized. I am also hoping i will get 1000 subcribers soon, but it is going very difficult.
Thanks so much!! I hope you find success on RUclips as well :).
