Wendi Richter deserved more respect from Vince McMahon. Fabulous Moolah set Women's Wrestling back to the 50's. Wendi was the future of Women's Wrestling and Moolah killed the future for her own personal gain.

Every WWE superstar from 1994 to this day owes their future and success to Hulk Hogan after he saved Vince McMahon from going to prison. Even though the federal government threatened Hogan and Hogan was going to wrestle his first match in WCW against Ric Flair. Hogan could have destroyed Vince and testified against him and sent him to prison for nine years and we would have seen Jerry Jarrett running WWE and making his son Jeff Jarrett the WWF world champion and destroying WWE and in return all of this would be in the interest of Hogan and WCW. But no. Hogan saved Vince despite all the golden opportunities that were given to Hogan. That's why all the wrestlers like Rock, Austin, Undertaker, Bret Hart, Roman Reigns, John Cena, Shawn Michaels, etc. all owe it to Hogan. Even the wrestling fans and especially the haters have no right to criticize him. Hogan is the greatest name in wrestling history, no question

And when Hogan said that Vince was innocent ,there goes the case ). This is what Jerry McDevitt literally said in the episode and Jerry's testimony about Hulk Hogan proves that Hogan saved Vince and the future of the WWF and all the wrestlers.

The WWE is beyond garbage now it’s unwatchable. The matches are so lackluster the storylines make no sense… WWE was not saved and became garbage, especially after WCW went out of business in March 2001… WWE was only good when they had WCW kicking their ass in the Monday night wars and after WCW drop the ball in late 1998 the WWE basically steamrolled WCW and after 2001 wrestling became very mediocre and it’s never going to be like it was in the 90s….

I was just a little girl when my Dad got my brother and I into watching the WWE (or WWEF in those days). Always been a bit of a tomboy.
When I went to school, all the boys were into watching it as well.
Suddenly, I got to see Wendy Richter one night.
I was so excited that there was finally a female that I wanted to look up to in the WWF/WWE.
No offence to the other women, especially the older ones. I'm well aware of the legacy most of them have and how they paved the way for women like Wendy to come through.
But Wendy also seemed more cool and relatable to a younger audience like myself.
Especially when she later went on to team up with Cyndi Lauper, that made her even more cook in my book.
When I went to school and all of us kids were all playing around and pretending to be Hogan, Macho Man, Bundy, Big John Stud, whoever.
I didn't have to choose a male wrestler to be like anymore. I could be Wendy Richter from then on. 🤣
And if it wasn't for Wendy, I think I may have ended up giving up on being a wrestling fan back then.

Bret had a 20 year deal for $20 M with WWF in 1996. Shawn got bitter about it even though he couldn't draw with Diesel or even get a good feud with him, unlike Bret. Bret deferred money, which is unheard of in pro-wrestling then, and had to go like HBK said, "with all those other dinosaurs". Ironically, SCSA and the Rock were on top less than a year after Bret left.

@kseven6551 he was forced out. He was there long and Vince had new guys he wanted to push. He repeatedly said Vince came to him about renegotiating. In the end, he never got most of his WCW money due to injury, so I don't think it worked out well for him there, but it wasn't his reason for leaving. Shawn himself mocked Bret for being ok with being the $700K champion. Bret was the only guy putting new guys over at all. Shawn tried to get Vader fired, how come Vince didn't can Shawn for that?

How could Vince have stopped Bret in the moment? By jumping in the ring and tackling him to the ground once he’d made the first ‘W’? Or maybe Vince has the ability to predict the future? He could have then cut all the cameras on a live PPV just before Bret did it, thus preventing anyone, except the people in attendance, from ever seeing it?
