Just a tip I see often that I didn't see here? After applying builder gel, flip the nail over for about 10 seconds before curing. It will help create a natural Apex. Additionally- You can also use a thin brush (or brush edge corner) to gently draw a line down the center vertically to draw the gel in towards the height of where you want your Apex to be (just before or during your "flipover").
Thank you so much for the tip that really helps out because I’ve been looking to put fake nails on and then builder gel on top because it lost much more longer so that’s exactly what I’ll be doing here
what i do is apply builder gel in only the middle top of the nail then cure. Then i apply to the rest of the nail. you can try to quickly stack it that way as well, then cure it quickly

I've been using polygel and a colored gel polish over it and the removal process wasn't easy I've been looking into builder gel and I am super interested.
I only use Madam Glam builder gels in the salon. One suggestion, it is recommended that you apply the MG base coat to the nail before you apply the builder gel. Gives more protection to the natural nail. Also there are manicure bowls that you can get that snap into a base. For your removal, you can put hot water in the base snap the top in and put your acetone in. Hot water makes the acetone work faster
