Renegade is absolutely a trail machine. A raptor though, I don't see a raptor being able to effectively get through a day of my trail riding. But the terrain type in a person's location could change whether it is a trail ride or not.
Please make a new list after you've actually rode some ATV'S. 1) the Honda is junk, it's more for farmers. They are slower than a Polaris HL that's designed with low gears for mud. 2) you're all over the place with the list. 3) any arguments should have the top machine's be Suzuki, Polaris, Yamaha, Can-Am, Arctic Cat (but Textron is killing this one, great ATV though). Kawasaki hasn't updated their ATV in over 10 years.
@@erichenson6495 any low cc ATV used for hauling grand kids around the yard in a trailer will last. If you actually ride, a KQ is bullet proof and you'll get power and reliability. Can-Am is the worst because HP and torque come at a high maintenance cost. Polaris, not as much as they clutch lighter, but a big bore V-twin and grease points is always extra maintenance. When I know 3 people who went through hell with 2018 and newer Honda's, I will never recommend one.
A Yamaha raptor is a racing and sport quad, if you’re gonna do a bike like that then chuck in the banshee 350, in my opinion the best trail riding atv is the Yamaha kodiak 660 or the Honda rancher 420
The Raptor is a trail quad. For racing you'd get the 450. The banshee is another beast altogether, and is a 30 year old design. You can compare it to a Raptor if you want, but the Raptor is clearly a better choice for trail riding.

If the poor English wasn't confusing enough the specifications are mixed up in the video edit. And the renegade is featured twice maybe showcase another option. Some important information is glossed over about honda and Kawasaki. Not the best video to gather good information.

What "trails" do you need these 100cc racing quads for? Certainly don't need to be going 80 while navigating those tight eastern trails you speak of. I've towed so many broken down big bore V-twins out of the eastern TN mountains. You're all over the damn place. I'd like some racks for a cooler, lunch, maybe a few tools....you know, the kind of stuff you need to go riding on the trails all day. Kodiak 700 will keep up with any of these in the thick stuff. Not even a Grizz mention?
You can clearly tell the makers of this video has never ridden an atv in their life. They don't know the difference between an atv and a sport quad. They don't know that Kawasaki has never ever built a rotax v twin and never will. The prices and specs were 85 percent wrong. Horrible video full of misinformation. Polaris is at the bottom of the totem pole ask any mechanic at a dealer they'll tell you not to buy one in other words their junk and they break down a lot. Don't Kill the Messenger though that's what my cousin tells me he has a Yamaha Banshee that is tricked out and tells me when he goes trail riding they're always pulling Polaris is out because they're always breaking. Just saying not trying to be a hater
