I love your videos! We just went from a can am quad to a polaris ranger, which will take gnarly trails, not some of the ones u guys ride on😉 but it will take rough ones. I'm not into speed we like to enjoy our surroundings. I'm already looking into a more aggressive machine for our next round of adventures. Thanks for sharing and love watching you all as a group! Keep Riding safe!
Thanks for checking out the video! Hope you enjoy it. Lots more content coming your way. Make sure to leave a comment, like, subscribe as well as follow us on Instagram and Facebook!!
Hello from Halifax Nova Scotia just found your ch awesome videos i use to drive 4 wheelers alot i had a yamaha wolverine and a 250 baja miss riding looking for a scond hand anything now lol love the the ch stay safe and take care.
Splish splash...how’s that song go? LOL Great footage. You found the best co pilot. If my wife of 36 years got covered in mud, her first words would not be “ this is awesome”. Thanks for the hard work you do to bring us along your adventure.
Thanks man! I'd love to make it down to California, Nevada and Utah in the future. I've been riding in Utah once quite a few years ago but couldn't bring my own RZR. It would be awesome to experience the riding you guys have.
great video, that's the type of riding we like. slow take in the scenery and sling some mud. maybe sometime have you're group introduce themselves and the machine they ride.
YESSSSSSSSSS !!!!!! THANK YOU !!!!!!!!!! ..... when you do some weight tuning for your suspension could you please share with us what and how you do it ????..... PLEASE !!!!! :-) Some observations: ......your machine is doing what mine does ('18 XPT)..... my shocks "top out" .....in short, I have no control over rebound damping, only compression...... that sucks .... our rides depend solely on ride height..... not good .....in an ideal world we should be able to account for "ride height" ...... in particular, my front.....one could light a cigarette off how hot the front shocks get ..... we all know why, I hold my door open to cool the interior when possible ....... I think the future of "overlanding" is exactly what you are doing ..... overlanding is extremely popular but who in the hell can afford a $50000+ Rubicon, and another $15000 to set it up......... so, in short, I am watching how you deal with the extra weight of overlanding mods ...... I think you are very much on to something...... something we can all "afford" and have the high performance machines we expect ..... is not technology and engineering great !!!!!!! :-)
That was fun. I haven't seen you guys get out and rip up some mid/high speed trails in a while. Maybe since the Carolina videos. It is good to try different things. You can have a blast at 10 mph in creeks and mud and not risk life and limb. So many SXS videos really focus on the crazy shit that you probably shouldn't try at home. I enjoy it all but I too have matured (at least 25 yrs ahead of you lol) and thats a good thing. Find you fun and wallow in it! Hey, that should be your Finntrail"s tag line! LOL. With respect, camera girl is adorable. Don't let that one get away bro.
great video ! If your riding the katva trails again try trail 91 (its on there map) . Its what they consider a expert or red trail . We rode it last saturday and there is some pretty good rock crawling sections . We came south on it which id consider to be the easier direction but still it was technical . I did a video of basically the entire trail and its on my youtube now . The video does it no justice though when it comes to some of the rock ledges and climbs though .
Stoked you like the videos!! The HL RZR is a wicked platform!! You’ll love it. Especially if you like riding like this. Slap on some different tires and it’s ready to crawl!!
Love the videos and don’t stop showing different terrain, different speeds, and generally different stuff. It keeps things interesting. I would like to see some tips from you and your regulars regarding their tire pressure preferences on different terrains with their different machines. Keep up the good work.
Bad ass as always. Julian do you think you will ever go full time with RUclips? I mean between tinkering and trail riding you give us alot but i feel like you are into other motorhead stuff we haven't seen haha. That video where you took the battle wagon to the track and were kicking ass till belt broke was awesome. Very interested in what else you got going on. Thanks again for the fix.
I've been watching a lot of your videos to make a decision to buy a SxS likely for 2022/23 model year you ride trails that I would likely end up on since I live in NW Virginia. Honest opinion....would you all recommend beyond the I think 64" the bigger SxS's are ? or would the 70+" ones be ok?
Hey Dan, glad the videos can help you narrow down your choices. My honest opinion is that if you are a trail rider then going over 64 inches wide can often make things tight, however, a lot of trails are getting wider now. The KRX is 68 I believe. We ride with some guys in 72 inch models and at times they run into some issues but generally they are fine. Most of the guys we ride with would recommend not going over 64.
What kind of tires should I get for my 570 sportsman. Either 26 or 27x14. I do a mix of normal trail, mud, and road. Ran mudlites and they do good in the mud. Okay on the trail. But shook pretty good on the road.
Why pull the stuck rzr out with 3 vehicles when you have winches to pull you out and not put large amounts of strain on ur drivetrain?? I never pull anyone out, I perfer to use my winch, if it breaks im only out a winch. Just curious.
Don't have a good answer for ya, lol. But when we tried with a winch it was just pulling the winch vehicle into the hole so with multiple vehicles pulling it wasn't much strain on the driveline. Plus it was cool, lol.
Hey, congrats on the new toy. As the video states these are the KATVA trails. Just look up the KATVA and HATVA trail networks online. You'll find it all there.
@@josephdupont1183 no problem. If you have more questions just let me know! We will be back out that way riding so maybe you can join us out on the trails in your new machine!!
I’m looking at getting back into the hobby again in about a year but can’t decide if i should go new can am 700 or used sxs like a 2008-2012 rzr 900 . Is there a lot of public trails in southern ontario for 60-64” sxs or should i stick with a atv
There are a lot of trails here that you can risky ride in a 64 inch machine. Basically all the ATV trails. The KATVA and HATVA trail systems alone offers days and days of riding. You could consider getting a used 900S, 1000XP or even a 2012-2014 900XP. All great machines that can be purchased for a good deal if you look around and take your time.
Yea, that is a very low price, especially now. With the 3 month + wait for a new one, used sxs are at a premium now. But I ride with people in KRK, xp 1k, and a general . . . all basically 100 hp. The xp1k has the same capability as the turbo just not the stupid quick acceleration. great machines. Hell, Super Greg went everywhere in a 900. So, yes, you can still play with your turbo friends. 😀👍

Stoked you like the video! The General XP is a great platform and shouldn't have any issues keeping up with RZR's and other machines on the trails.

So far im very impressed with that Kawi. Just wondering hows the power compared with the others like Polaris, Can Am etc?
At almost 2000lbs dry I’m betting a little sluggish feeling at higher speeds
