- Not taking anything away from James Horner, I thought it would be cool to set one of my favorite Star Trek Movie scenes to the music from Interstellar.

Star Trek III: The Search for Spock
Music: Hans Zimmer - No Time For Caution Наука
"The more complicated they make these things, the easier it is to gum up the plumbing." Scottie, probably...
Of all the scenes in Trek to give different music, this is not it. Horner's score was a masterpiece.
Would be nice to actually hear the dialog... the music is way too loud. :-)
My first try at something like this lol, I can work on that
Stop moaning and buy the dvd if it bothers you that much ffs
For the folks bringing up the music, yes, it is loud. Trouble is, if you listen close enough you can hear the original music very clearly under it. I suspect this is why it's so loud in the first place, to try and mask that.
Yep I was trying to balance hearing some of the dialogue and also trying to mask that epic score by James Horner, kinda did this just for fun.
Great footage as always but awful music...
Thanks for highlighting how shitty, obtrusive, and ill-fitting Han Zimmer scores are.
Great scene
sorry the music was over kill!!!!!!!
This is awesome! I'm a Trekkie, and I love Interstellar.
Whoever did Chekovs costume must have hated him.
Good idea !
Great music!
Music's too loud for the scene
Pretty good. Damn near works
Check out the one I did for the Genesis countdown interstellar!! That one is good too
Nice idea!
It's an idea, but not one I will be pursuing. Horner's music makes this scene, Zimmer's makes Interstelllars...
Music not needed & WAY too loud
Hard to hear the dialogue over the music. Bit loud.
If Captain Styles came face to face with Spock's parents after he failed to stop Spock's friends from stealing the Enterprise to go back to the Genesis Planet to save him and have his katra back from Leonard McCoy, would be apologize for to them to would be be selfish to them and let them know that he never liked Spock at all because he's James T. Kirk's best friend?
We have to do this in the future and now
Great effort, but I have to say that the est element of this scene (my favorite in the franchise) is the amazing soundtrack by the late James Horner.
And bring the Enterprise back to the pass I am in
Another great example of how much music both sets and directs the scene if its done right!
But why??? It was necessary ( To save Spock)
I love star trek and i also love interstellar too, but mix them together is not a good idea...
I was board during COVID Solitude lol, Check out the one I did with “The China Syndrome” fits allot better
Music TOO loud.
Damn, that was a treat. Thank you
I Just completed the Interstellar these to the Genesis Countdown, Check it out it came out pretty awesome I do believe!!
This music would have been better suited to Enterprise's final approach to,and voyage inside,V'Ger.
Or the battle in st6 or in nemesis.
Great idea! LOL
What’s the point of the bad interstellar noise here?
To make this particular scene even more epic.
@@PrincessToyNerd Without having removed the original soundtrack, it’s resulted in noise. Nothing epic about it.
Yellow alert, yellow alert . . . Captain James T Kirk is shi__ing himself, open them damn doors Scotty !
Music sux!
music works well with it, well done
The awful music is way to loud. Can’t hear dialogue
Disagree that the music is a good fit. The actual soundtrack is far superior. The film also had to be edited lightly to make it fit the music
ffs they can't use the original due to copyright...
What's with the annoying music that prevents me from hearing the dialogue?
Overbearing music had mr switching off at 1 min
Music is to loud!
Just like in Interstellar
Sorry, lousy music. You don't understand the subtlety of Horner complementing the scene. You want to say it all with the music and drown out the actors. Sorry.
Lose the music and it'd be great.
Stopped watching it at the 1:04 mark. The dialog was drowned out by the overly loud and annoying music that was added. 😖
too loud
oh dear you poor lamb...buy the fucking dvd then.
So incompatible.
The music sucks! Big time!
