I had cancer in my parotid gland and had it removed and radiotherapy(IMRT) 20sittings an year ago and have recovered a lot. I have been told that irritant foods like onion, pepper, black pepper, garlic and ginger can cause lymphedema and I have been told to avoid red meat and oil in my diet is there any study to support this? Can anyone help me regarding this?
