I am interested
This is my third favorite, behind Arcana & Order. I like the features it brings to the table, especially Read Thoughts.
I'm particularly fond of non-combat abilities, favoring lore & RP.
Really I am pretty impressed actually. I mean the cleric is very well suited for handling combats just based on the spell lists. So for them it isn’t such an obscure choice, though for other classes they tend to not fair as well.
I picked this domain for my order of the scribe wizard in a upcoming Vecna: Eve of Ruin campaign my PC has expertise in all knowledge skills I am planning on playing as the most knowledgeable PC which makes a change for me because I mainly play social PC's my PC deity is Ioun so this gives him a pretty big reason to stop Vecna as both gods hate each other
This is not the first time I have seen this combination. Everyone that told me about it said it was amazing
In terms of abilities the knowledge domain is my least favorite subclass for the cleric but i do like the theme though i mostly prefer more battle focused subclasses but that's just my opinion and i am very excited for you to get to the lore aspects of D&D there are so many character concepts you can make with the lore of D&D and i also have a character concept for every hazbin hotel character in my head and I'm so excited to share them with you when you are done watching it
I think most people would agree with you. Which I imagine the knowledge domain cleric is rarely seen. Combat is a big part of the game.
Yeah if we lived in a perfect world I would of been doing a lore video once a month but it’s just a lot of home work getting all that lore together and organizing it in a way as to not be like everyone else.

This is an elite dip for a wizard. (S+ for Scribes)
Top tier, pretty much a tie with Artificer. Maybe slightly behind, but not by much.
Having a 13 wisdom (min) isn’t a bad thing for any PC, wizards included. For me, I’m almost always adding in the resilient feat for either wisdom or con.
So you don’t really lose anything going with this class vs Artificer. It’s amazing for more support/control style wizards.

As a straight cleric, this one is way behind in combat power, but would excel in a RP/mystery style campaign.
As opposed to the Death domain as a life cleric, totally opposite in play style, but focused. Could be a good/great DM NPC for many roles in a campaign.
You’re right with that double proficiency bonus you are definitely the smartest person in the room.
As an npc that’s a really powerful tool for a campaign. That could be a whole connection to a back story or a whole sprawling quest just to get home boy on your side. From a dm perspective that’s really great! Could you imagine being in a campaign and having someone who is able to just handle all that lore diving for you? That would be awesome. Almost like you’re building a whole town.
Yep. I have noticed that NPCs can add a lot to your campaign if you flush them out with some character class options.
I mean, your party shouldn’t be the only ones in a world/campaign setting with abilities. So many ways to add depth to even a small town tavern, church, etc…
