I worked in Adventureland and Frontierland when the Indiana Jones store was there-we sold leather coats, etc. And I worked in a cart just next to the Jungle Cruise exit where we sold toy snakes, etc. it was the very first summer of Fantasmic-great year!

I went to Stoddard,Ball and Loara. Worked the park 1985/86/87. Left to work room service at the Hilton Towers. All my family in Anaheim worked the park all the way back to opening day. Uncle Less drove the train forever and was quite well known..

There was a hillside next to Haunted Mansion with snoring bears, back when it was still Bear Country. So, as an homage to the snoring bear, they added it to Splash Mountain. Up at the top you pass little houses for the characters. The snoring sound was added to Brer Bear's house. Nevermind...LOL....This is what happens when I comment in the middle of watching the video.

Splash was one of my favorite childhood rides! I’ve always loved log rides and Zip A Dee Doo Dah always made me so happy at the end. Didn’t know if came out when I was born! Huh you learn something new everyday. I am SO excited for Tiana to get a ride of her own though. The switch out will be great!

Hello I have been watching your videos about Knotts Berry Farm and Disney and it brings back great memories as a kid growing up in that neighborhood. Then i saw this video and you mentioned you attended Disney elementary. I also went there and graduated 6th grade in 1978. I lived on Stonybrook. Your channel is Randomland, there is a street near Disney named Random if i remember correctly. Anyways thanks for the videos. Stay safe

Always look for a restroom that has a hand dryer and dry your clothes!! I had to do that for my sons years ago. They got so wet.
My Fiancee, her mom, and I were just here on Christmas. That construction wasn't there at all. I believe it's for the Indiana Jones refurbish.

I am bummed about Tiana's Palace. That square is my favorite part of Disneyland. I haven't been in 20 years and may be going this year. I hope it stays the same for a while.
Amazing!! Thank you for being so positive about splash mountain. It’s sad to see it go, and I have so many childhood memories of this ride. I am thankful you share the same positive memories but are optimistic on the new Tiana theme.

Im the same age as Justin the 1st time in Disneyland my mom was 6months pregant w me that should count . As a kid in the late 80s and into the 90s my whole family came every year back then Churros were freshly made now Frozen ugh! I remember when they were building Splash Mountain there was a tall brown fence around it Im sure it had peeking holes for us kid. I was so scared to ride it I waited til like 92 and I loved it Ive returned so many times since it wont be the same sadly. For me its like lets teardown main street and make it like Universal boardwalk its a shame👎The Country Bears was a favorite family visit in 89 my dad still has me play it on youtube. Im gonna miss that 3hr line in 92 the ride Splash was the Best

Crazy to me that I live a few miles from an actual home of Davey Crockett home where his own mother is buried and it's going to dissappear sooner than later bc of zero interest in it anymore. With so much with his name on it. And also Casey Jones, the real man is a distant relative to myself by marriage and has his own little village and resturant with a train museum just down the road from the davey Crockett home here in tennessee

When you look at the old videos of the 1960s and 70s all the Disney guests are skinny. In your recent video and modern times practically everybody’s obese. It’s disgusting how society has transformed.
