Great video absolutely fantastic, I will say though the Austin Armored car in this is the mk5 with the single vision port and twin wheel base! The mk 1,2 and mk3 were all single rear wheel.
Great video jmantime . I've alvvays loved the design of the early Rolls Royce armored cars , they look almost "battleship" like vv/their turrets , long hoods & lovv narrovv drivers vvindovvs. Interestingly after the vvar they vvere mostly sent on to colonial duty , most to India as vvell as Northern Ireland . Also the main doors opened outvvard on the opposite sides from one another so if a crevv member had to go out he could open a door & sheild himself rather than risk opening it & exposing the vvhole crevv . Another interesting fact is that they vvere probably the fastest armored land vehicles @ the time . Doing 45mph vvas heads & tails faster than the english tanks or the renault light tanks & I've read some accounts that a fevv crevvs managed to hop up their rolls royces to hit 60 mph . TY again for another informative video .
Excelent
