For the rock,paper,scissors mini game,the nudity has been censored in the US & in the European version so when Alex or the characters lose there's a heavy weigh fall. ^_^

Fun Fact: The Janken used in this Alex Kidd game is a variant called Yakyuken where the loser has to remove an article of clothing until he remains naked. In order to make the thing faster, the loser becomes instantly naked and leaves out of embarrassment in the Japanese Version. Since Yakuken was only a variant known in Japan, when it come in the US, they decided to rename it (simply as) Rock, Paper and Scissors and they made some edits to make it more family-friedndly and remove the Yakuken references.

This game gave me my first gray hair, and it was my only game until I got batman returns , and sonic 1, 2 n knuckles.i was so glad. It was probably the only game I didn't look forward to olaying.i got so mad, I snatched it out without powering off the system. Lmai
In America, child nudity is seen as a taboo, so it makes sense they'd remove it. In Japan it doesn't have much of an implication and is generally more acceptable in their culture.

But simply snatching it out while mid game was my way of having a tantrum. And since it was like not first game I would switch from channel 3 to TV, on a weekday afternoon in the 90s with basic antenna TV after 5pm there was only night news , Seinfeld, frasier, friends, wheel of fortune n jeopardy. So I say fuck it an do my homework. All the while starting at the game. 10/11pm was bedtime, I'd play again only to end up angry again....
