    Hi Yoga Friends! Bring a pillow or bolster and let's melt into this relaxing, deep leg and hip opening yoga class. We'll bring in a little work in the beginning of class to bring in blood flow to our hips, warm up our glutes and psoas, and then get into some deep hip stretches.
    This class is for you if you sit a lot, walk/run a lot, work out, or just want more flexible hips! We’ll stretch our hip flexors, get into deep glute stretches, release tight hamstrings, and relax into these stress relief postures.
    Whether you’re wanting hip opening emotional release, yoga for leg flexibility, or a safe class to dive into yoga for stress, we’re going to breathe through it all.
    This 30 min yoga class for hips is great for beginner yogis with options for more advanced hip stretches for my advanced yoga students. We’ll be holding a few of these hip stretches so be ready to drop into some serious yogic relaxation and deep hip and leg tension relief.
    Also - We often store emotions in our hips, as you may experience in our lizard or frog pose. So this yoga class is an opportunity to be a hip opening emotional release yoga class. Let what comes up, come up without judgment.

    SO AMAZING. I fractured my hip two years ago due to over exercise and lack of nutrition + sleep. I have struggled with them for so long but this video has me feeling AMAZING. Thank you!

    WOW i wasn’t expecting this to be as challenging it was-my hips were tighter than i thought! the frog pose was a little hard for me but it did feel really good. im sure the more i do this, the easier these poses will feel to do

    My hips are going to grateful for all that extra space. Thank you. I didn't read the title and was expecting more of a yoga class but that was a really effective workout/stretch instead.

    This is the fist time i allow my feminine side take the driver seat. Just amazed about this practice I've never done stuffs like that besides calisthenics ❤

    OMG Kate I swear I was getting upset with you through those strength training areas those donkey kicks and those holds, but it was a "good" upset. Thanks for the morning session. I will be back for more. Much Appreciation :)

    I had tension in my hips for nearly a month and this class felt magical for it to he gone. Wish the tension in my lower back is relieved soon

    Not a commenter but had to come back and write this down here. This was one of DA BEST yoga sessions I've ever had in my life! Way to go Kate.
    I'll gladly come back for more exercises whenever I feel fully bloated and stressed out to strengthen and relax my tight ass hips 😅🧘‍♀️

    Middle and front splits but more prep for front splits. Going to just sink into frog pose first before attempting middle split again.

    I think you've heard my complains about my stiff hips :D Just what I needed! Although that frog pose was uncomfortable, wow, my knees couldn't stand it. I might need to do it everyday to get used to this...

      I'm glad it helped your hips. If your knees are sensitive double up your mat. Give em a little love there. We definitely want to protect them.
      To work up some nice strength in your knees, in your low lunges, you can start to press your knee forward, over your ankle. This puts a little pressure and weight on your knee, but it's the GOOD kind of stress on your knee (the name for this is eustress), and it's beneficial so long as it isn't painful!
      I had bad knees last year and did light weight exercises and it went away :)

      @@KateAmberYoga thanks so much for the tips! I had a bike accident 3 years ago that messed up my knee. Physical theraphy helped a lot but sometimes I feel a sting of pain during exercises. I will definitely come back to this session again and try to get as lower in my hips :)
