Madly I swear you always post a video of a new patteren I'm gonna make . I was just looking for a knit baby blanket .So I can't wait to try this blanket out !
Hi Marly it’s Kim from the UK thank you so much for taking the time out to teach us and send us free patterns it’s much appreciated. Could I ask you if I wanted to make the blanket wider how many stitches should I cast on please? Many thanks in advance.
Hi Marley, Love you name by the way! Love this pattern as well. Question~I'm ordering 7 colors of this yarn. Is it possible to knit this blanket using 7 colors? Thank you!
love this video marley but need some advice, please, l normally knit with straight needles for baby blankets and I cast on the left hand side of needle and hold my wool in the right hand. l have seen other tutorials where people hold the yarn in the left hand so that it doesn't join in the round. l cant do this as l am not left handed. is there another way many thanks x
Hello Daisy, I taught the taffy pull technique in a Craftsy class and am not allowed to teach the same thing here on RUclips at this time. Sorry. But you could sign up for Craftsy and watch it (and many more wonderful tutorial) on there: bit.ly/MarlyCraftsyClasses

Love your tutorials. Would it be ok if I used a self striping yarn or just use one color???
Can you use Bernat Velvet yarn for this blanket?

How to get written pattern
Hi Marley Bird I wanna know how can I start my RUclips channel?
When ever I knit garter stitch on an edge it seems to be much shorter than the stock stitch. Is that a normal thing?
Yes. That is normal as rows of garter are shorter than rows of st st.
i love this and so many of your patterns!!! i also really love the ponch you're wearing, where can i find the pattern for it?
there is a link in the video description.
On a blanket with a border how would you go about making the border all one color all the way around instead of making it all the colors that are in the blanket. Thanks for any help.
That would require you to work intarsia technique :)
Marly Bird Do you have a video for that? I have never heard of it.
Where is the written pattern
Marly... Thank you for this adorable little blanket pattern..
Would there be a big difference if I used the Baby Hugs #4, and a US8 needle?
💜💜💜😎
It would be much bigger if your gauge also increases with the size of your yarn and needles.
Marly Bird Thanks! I am a fairly tight Knitter... So.... The difference might not be too bad.. But.. I’ll do swatches, just to see what happens...
Thanks for doing these tutorials...and providing free patterns for us... You are an excellent teacher... 👍
Can you also use a self stripping yarn?
Yes.
