I feel as though I am wrapped in warm blankets; sitting on a window seat, staring Into the darkness as the snow flutters down the windows. Each flake like a work of art, mesmerising me. My hands cup my hot chocolate; sipping leisurely, Inhaling the delicious smell. The fire crackles and spits, with the warmth spreading throughout the room; I can feel it on my back, a little bit of heaven shutting out the world for a while as the wind batters the doors and whistles through the windows, as the snow increases it's strength. Even though it's cold and hostile outside, I am happy and at peace in my little home, just watching nature do its thing, how lucky am I ......

That was just gorgeous... and I have to add that, as a well-known melody that many perform we could say that it is just another good performance, but it is not...
Your performance is exquisite, to my hearing sense your attack on the notes is fluid and subtle, where we don't hear at all independent notes but a continuous link with a fluidity and a harmonic dynamic that makes us feel as if we were on a giant roller coaster... You personally add emotional nuances to every note in every sentence, and that's a very difficult thing to do...
Do my words make sense for you?, I hope so.

Hey Rafael! Thanks for listening/watching, and also supporting by buying the arrangements! That means so much! To answer your questions: The keyboard is a relatively old Kawai MP8 II. I bought it probably 10 years ago and still haven't found a new alternative that feels as good. It has wooden keys from Kawai's concert grand so it weighs a TON, but it feels closest to the real thing, for me anyway.
For VSTs I use a couple. In this video I'm playing Garritan's "Abbey Road CFX Concert Grand". I think it has a nice, more distant, sound that's more reminiscent of classical sound engineering. It also has a ton of power. It's not quite as refined as some of the real Yamaha CFX grands I've gotten to play, but it's a good VST! In other videos, like No Time To Die and some of my new hymn arrangements, I'm using Native Instrument's "Noire". It's designed by Nils Frahm and I love how intimate the sound is. It's missing a soft pedal, but you get the added bonus of a felt preparation which can be super inspiring to write with. On "Dance Monkey" and my original "Bustling" I used VI Labs "Modern U," a full size/concert upright piano that was just released a few months ago. I think it has a great tone for jazz/pop/songwriter type stuff, but also has a very cool una corda option for some dark, more cinematic sounds. And around a year ago I used to exclusively use the Ravenscroft 275 also by VI Labs, but after using that for such a long time I've just gotten tired of the sound!
For speakers, I have JBL LSR4326s with a matching sub. The tweeters are soft dome, 1" and the mids are 6" standard cone. The sub is a massive 12". I've had them for quite some time... probably 10 to 15 years, and I don't think JBL makes them anymore!
