    2: Foreman - raw power
    3: Tyson - aggression & elusive
    4: Joe Louis - consistency & jab

    1. Muhammad Ali - In his prime, he had the best speed and athleticism of any heavyweight before or afterwards. Outside his prime, had an iron chin and insane heart.
    2. Lennox Lewis - Amazing jab, great right hand and uppercut, impressive defence. Clinical to the nth degree.
    3. George Foreman - A wrecking ball who could also take a serious punch. Dangerous even in his 40's.
    4. Joe Louis - Fabulous jab, great right hand and successfully defended his title 25 times.
    5. Joe Frazier - Incredible left hook, tough as old boots and tremendous heart.
Outside the 5 would be Jack Johnson, Larry Holmes, Mike Tyson, Sonny Liston, Evander Holyfield, Jack Dempsey, Gene Tunney, Rocky Marciano and Riddick Bowe.

AJ is very well spoken, great integrity and is a great ambassador of the sport at such a young age. No denying his heart and tactical skill. Very rarely do you see the full package with modesty. What I love about peoples all Time greatest list is it varies upon each person because there's quite a few great boxers throughout history and in the end a person's view of who's the greatest in their top five depends on their childhood growing up watching who. Realise how most of the fighters Joshua listed were in the 80s and after except for Ali who is widely regarded as the greatest considering he did what he said he'd do, and proved it time and time in his prime after beating Sonny Liston, and then after his prime beating Foreman AND Frazier. Remarkable.

From what I've seen,Marciano was really tough and very hard to hit, also seriously hard shots that could break bones! Frazier said Ali had a really hard body but not when Marciano was hitting him in a sparring session. He had amazing endurance and was unstoppable. Ok so the fighters he fought weren't young, but they were solid and could fight for upto 15 rounds and still better than the boxers now.
An old Jersey Joe Walcott could go toe to toe with joshua or wilder and have a chance.
George foreman was really hard too and pretty easy to hit but it didn't effect him. That Tommy Morrison fight were one of the hardest fights ever recorded. They were leathering the crap out of each other and Morrison had a reputation for hard hits but foreman just carried on. He once fought 5 in a row haha and he made a grilling machine "so good,it's got my name on it!" You gotta love George.

@Frankie Bop I personally believe he would’ve beat Muhammad Ali. Just look what he did to Tyrell Biggs. He has a Muhammad Ali style to him, and Tyson beat him (and pretty badly). Muhammad Ali had a better chin and probably was better in every other category than Biggs, but it’s the closest thing we have.

@Tigers Boxing Inc. Debatable. Tyson could trash talk pretty well. But you’re probably right, Ali wasn’t scared of Foreman, and I personally believe he’s the scariest fighter of all time..

He could barely beat an old Ken Norton ( many thought he lost )for the title.

You're the only one I see up here I agree with on the top three. Good job. I don't see Joshua in the top 25 and am happily surprised by Ruiz.

@Lazarxy Should have been a rematch. He wouldn't have punched himself out the 2nd time around

Darkness Flame Media not true. Foreman punched himself out against Young as well. He lost to an Ali that was past his prime. I’ve always said that if you could combine the physical attributes of a young, prime George Foreman with the intelligence and ring generalship of the older Foreman you would have the perfect heavyweight.

    • @lennoxmate4064
      @lennoxmate4064 4 года назад

Luke Dunford Foreman should have beaten an Ali that was past his best but he was dumb in the ring which was proved once again in his fight v Young.

@Luke Dunford reason they didnt have a rematch is because foreman said he would have four fights before fighting ali and if he lost one of them he would leave boxing.... He got too the forth fighter and lost then left boxing for 10 years
