Mutambo signed with the 76rs, a team from the east, like Charles said, and Miami went to the finals, as he said (the team who get Mutambo, wich means Atlanta had really the key, as Sir Charles said as well.       sixers were actually doing a bit better without mutumbo if I'm not wrong, I can't remember the guy they had before mutumbo, but he was younger, more athletic, a great defender and decent on offense. Of course, it was a great trade because, Ratliff? the C they had, got injuried and never got back

      peter said something so funny..the knicks want to give up sprewell and camby for dikembe cause they think he will help them win the east?....okay I understand trading one of them for dikembe the soon to be free agent in summer 01 (most likely camby for dikembe straight up) but both?..that would of crippled their scoring after already losing ewing and made them worse clearly.......like how dumb can the knicks be that it took the hawks not wanting to deal with latrells off the court antic that led to that deal not getting done....camby and latrell combined avg. 30 ppg and 16 rebs that season....

    In case you are wondering, Mutombo did get traded to Philly that season and Philly did win the east. T-Mac's magic won 43 games. Chuck = Nostradamus

    I don't know why this was recommended to me now... but seeing these old videos always makes me realize how crazy life can be.
    When Charles made his debut I was 5 years old.. now I am 26 and the same guys (besides Shaq) are still on this show. Just think about all the things that have happened during the last 21 years and yet these guys are still at it. Might sound stupid but it makes me feel some type of way.

      the knicks willing to trade both young assets marcus camby and latrell sprewell right after dealing ewing away for no reason for mutombo to make up for it is such a knicks thing that I wish it occurred just to see how bad the knicks would of been with bums that couldn't score around poor alan houston after giving him all that money ..they eventually got dikembe in 03 and he was washed by then after a good 00-01 and 01-02 couple of seasons by 02-03 he was done....and thats when the knicks decide to get him of course...

    As a 10 year on March 17, 1993, I went to a hotel conference room to listen to Danny Ainge speak to about 200 people. It was his birthday. Everyone was told beforehand that he wouldn’t be signing autographs or anything. As soon as it was wrapping up, Barkley comes walking in with a giant birthday cake all lit up with candles. It totally changed the atmosphere and they both stuck around and chatted with everyone and took pics. Pretty cool that they’re such good friends

    Chuck always had that personality and hit the ground running on the show. Great chemistry with Chuck and everyone joking around and his comebacks. Great memories. They need to keep the crew and the show together somehow.
